I only Tivo'd it because there wasn't really anything else on to tape at this time. If this show was on in the fall there isn't a chance in the world I'd watch it. But it'll do for background tv in the summer until something better comes around. Some of the storylines are mildly entertaining for the wrong reasons. I liked watching the neighbor freak out when she was at the Swingers party, and loved the suggestion that she go checkout the basement. Other than that the show is a Maybe-Watch if I'm bored. There aren't a whole lot of great options at 10pm Thursdays right now.

When I first heard the premise of this show I wasn't very intrigued. A computer repairmen turned spy? I just didn't think it would be interesting. I was pleasantly surprised, Chuck is turning out to be my favorite new show of the season. Its the perfect combination of action spy thriller, and comedic drama, probably closer to comedy than drama. The action scenes are very well done and remind me a little bit of Alias. The comedy writing is impressive, the witty one liners are great, and Morgan makes the perfect slacker sidekick. I can't wait to see where this show takes us.

If you take the action of 24, and the creators of The Shield, you're bound for great things. This show has the makings of a hit. I loved the camera work when "The Unit" finally boarded the plane in the pilot. Watching the team blatently disregard orders from both the FBI and the military, is such a page right out of The Shield. Its fitting that the Shield is coming to a close, as this show is just starting. I can only hope that viewers feel the same way that I do, and the show sticks around for a few years.

Everytime I watch this show, I feel more and more like it is scripted. The cast members have figured out exactly how to get the most camera time possible, and how to make cheesy moments. Singing "Since You've Been Gone" in the Limo for instance. Who at MTV told them to play and sing along to this song, fully knowing that a good part of the episode would be about Stefan and Kristen's first encounter since going off to college. Completely Cheesy. At least the people are attractive, and the stories are light, and enough to get people to watch.

Don't you absolutely love Stewie's rants this season. As a former Frat Guy myself, Stewie's Rant on the stereotypical frat guy was absolutely amazing. I also love, how Stewie's dialogue has completely evolved this season. Even the tone of his voice when he's talking to Brian is amazing. I look forward as always to the Pop Culture inclusions, such as Sesame Street. Everytime they make fun of Fox is great. Particulary the first episode of the season when Peter listed all of the cancelled Fox TV shows. I At least Chris's monkey has been making a regular appearance. If only they'd have the perverted old man in every episode.I think they should make more of the different episode beginnings, such as the Law and Order Beginning, and What not. As long as you like to laugh, you'll love this show.
