I NEVER even consider shedding a tear during any shows. But this was an exception. I found this episode to be a strong one because we see the aftermath and find Carlton throwing all his ideals out the window to make room for the gun. We hardly ever see Will emotional. I can only recall one other time, when Lou abandons him again. This episode was the most powerful because it was one of the more realistic ones. I think the tear jerker came when Will basically forced Carlton to give him his gun because he did not want his cousin involved, probably because he saw this back in Philly all too much.

I saw a young man who was very convincing in his role as the young survivor of the 2 runaways. Even though he was young, you could tell that he gave it his all because his emotions seemed all too real. I had to know who this young man was. Pablo Santos, I believe, will become a bigger star someday. I look forward to seeing him in future roles.

I first saw Will Estes in "The Secret World of Alex Mack", playing Hunter Reeves. I had never heard of him until then, not being too much of a "Lassie" fan. I found that I would watch it just to see if he was in the episode and had a great stint with the show. He was a talented young man and had hoped to see him in future roles. When I saw Mostow's U-571,a few years ago, I was excited to see him in such a great and powerful movie (not to mention that he was one of the survivors in that movie). He surprised me yet again. He had grown into a more talented actor, and am waiting for his future projects. I think that he is under-utilized and should be in more movies.

I was not sure what this show was going to be like. But after watching the many previews and then the premiere, I found that the show could potentially be great if the writing does not suffer. I am not much of a horse person, but people can relate to the show in one way or another. And all I can say is that I am hooked on the show and am looking forward to seeing new episodes in the future.

It is refreshing to see young, new talented actors and actresses on-screen. Hopefully, all will be able to carry the show to its full potential.
