The District
A truly great program that is based on the real life chief of police Jack Maple. The cast and plot are truly excellent. The writers, directors, and producers performed marvelously. Why is it that when a great program is aired it is shortly killed or taken off the air my the knuckle-heads. However, you have programs like "Friends" and other feel-good programs that lasts for several seasons, more seasons than the show should have lasted. This was a great program and I believe should have aired longer than the four seasons. As we all know these companies only care about the bottom line, not the public who watch these programs. My question to all you who enjoy watching excellent television programs, why is it when a great program like "7 Days" or "The District" are a hit that the program is removed for the air.
