summer tv

so when i am not doing anything with friends, pretty much all i do is stay at home and watch tv and after almost a month of summer i have figured out the perfect tv schedule and have picked up some new favorite shows

two of my friends are obsessed with will & grace and since they are constantly talking about it i have no idea what they were saying so i started watching it....one of the funniest shows ever! i guess it was pretty big back when it was actually on the air cuz it got like 80 emmy nominations but anyways i am starting to watch it now and i laugh like the entire time...speaking of funny....

another really hilarious show that makes me crack up is scrubs. when i first started watching it i just thought it was kinda stupid and i didnt really get the point of it...then i realized its kinda like the office and that it seems absolutely insane and you wonder what these poeple are thinking but as you watch it more you figure out how funny and good it really is AKA so stupid its hilarious!

anyway since the show i mainly watch all the time is Law & Order SVU, i figure its prlly a good idea to watch some lighter comedies to balnce things out a bit

Summer

okay so it has been a really long time since i have been on here. i feel kinda bad but i will get over it.

summer is here so i have been pretty busy doing random stuff with friends and therefore i havnt really had time to get on here. i am planning on going to six flags in the next couple of weeks and have already been to the pool numerous times. so glad there is no more school cuz well, its just depressing! haha well hope everyone is having a good summer too!!

soundtracks

so yesterday was my best friend's birthday and for her birthday i got her a really cool present that she will only ever use once....i got her the Game of Life: Twists and Turns....yea so she was thrilled (for my birthday she got me one of those heads where you can braid the hair, so i guess we just get eachother stupid gifts!)

haha but yea i also got her addicted to the soundtrack for Moulin Rouge! which we watched yesterday, and it was the first time she had seen it and now, like me she is in love with it

i think musicals are probably the movies to watch over and over....i am watching Music & Lyrics right now and that is just an adorable movie!!! i have also seen Hairspray and Enchanted about 10 times each now just because i love the music in all of them

tell me if you have any more really good ones for me to watch!

SVU Season Finale

Okay so i missed the season finale last week when my power went out....there was a huge storm and it went out like an hour before SVU was supposed to start and then was out the rest of the night....really depressing i know

anyways so tonight it is on again and i am so excited to watch it because i havnt seen it yet and i realllly want to so yay! i hope its really good

My Birthday!!!

Really excited because today is my birthday!!! so far its been pretty good but i havnt gotten any of my gifts yet. that will come tonight with dinner and cake!! i already went to bennihana's for lunch so that was an excellent start to my birthday festivities!! next week i get another cake when i celebrate with my two best friends! Happy Birthday to me

No one but Jack Bauer could foil the plots of terrorists and save millions of people in just 24 hours. Kiefer Sutherland is phenomenal as Jack Bauer. He is able to bring the action and intensity, but also show his vulnerable and emotional side when need be. The show is able to intertwine both the action-packed aspects along with the reality and drama of the affects on people's lives. The storylines are almost always very realistic and full of twists that add to the intrigue of the show. Hooked by the first episode in this absolute must see show that is one of the most addicting on television.

Robbin Williams gave a very eerie and chilling performance as an engineer who turns to manipulation and games. He was a superb asset to an otherwise okay episode. I was definately hoping for something more from the 200th episode and was a little disappointed when they did not deliver with something as spectacular as all of the other previous episodes. The storyline was very good and it was rather unpredictable, however, it was just missing that special something. Christopher Meloni as Det. Stabler was very good at portraying a lot of emotion in this episode and it was not phenomenal acting that was in short supply during this episode. The writing in this episode was just not as amazing as it usually is.

This was a really excellent episode that was packed with a lot of emotion. It was really great the way that they managed to shift the plot over from the girl being raped to it being a much bigger storyline, involving tracing the rapist back to a shady corrections officer. Det. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) goes undercover as an inmate in the prison. They way that the emotion was captured in this episode was truly phenomenal. "Undercover" was a very intense episode that leaves the viewer craving more. It was a great episode to kick off the return of SVU as it highlighted each important character and was all together very climatic and well-written. Definately a must-see episode.

This is an episode to remember. It was a very intense episode that had many entertwining plotlines that really helped to make this a phenomenal episode. The episode was deepened with the hospitalization of Elliot when he was attacked by the schizophrenic suspect. This aspect of the story was overlayed with ADA Novak's inability to move on from something in her past and that gets in the way or her trying the case as she normally would. The fact that her and Olivia cross fire as well made this an unforgettable episode with many different things all woven together to create one amazing episode.

A spin-off of NBC's hit series Law & Order, it is the most popular in the Law & Order franchise consisting of Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Law & Order: Trial By Jury. This hard-hitting series follows veteran Detectives Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson as they race to solve New York's most heinous crimes. To add variety and color to the show, they also add in the favorites Seargent John Munch, Captain Cragen and Detectives Odafin "Fin" Tutuola and Chester Lake. SVU is a superb show that always keeps the audience wanting more with its original plotlines and the obvious chemistry between Stabler and Benson. Stabler's hot-headed character who spends more time working than with his family is relatable because he clearly is a good guy who is just extremely dedicated to his work and sometimes lets his personal views get in the way of his job. Benson's more level-headed, smart and calm character contrasts with Stabler and together they leave everyone waiting anxiously for the next episode.
