what happens in a SEASON FINALE where lex is to find out the true identity of Clark (the thing we have all been waiting for):

Brainiac is Kara, Brainiac dies after a 5 second battle, Lana gets better, Lana leaves (not soon enough if you ask me), chloe goes into a coma, Lois is searching for oil and at the same time miraculously pops in the farm to talk to Clark and give him a hug.. chloe wakes up, jimmy proposes chloe gets arrested.

and in the final 3 and a half seconds including credits, lex talks to clark in the fortress and puts the orb in the control panel and the fortress collapses. In case you missed it: 7 years of Smallville have led up to 200 (bad and inconclusive) seconds of a Lex/Clark confrontation. And have a good summer...

When am I going to see a proper fight? a good piece of dialog? why have the writers dropped the ball so much? dont they realize that they are turning a what used to be a good show into some sort of mockery of a Sci-fi? I have given the episode a 6.3 bcause it is not a fundamentally bad episode-for a non season finale. If you ask me, they could have such episodes throughout the year leading up to something even bigger, believe me its not hard, 24, prison break and heroes are doing it week in week out. and i dont want cliffhangers i want plots moving forward.

Its going on too long, this concludes a ridiculously bad season compared to the expectations that were built up from last season.. Queen say that "show must go on".. but i seriously doubt it in smallville's case, it is way past its expiry date (early years of a young superman).

If there is a time to be a smallville writer this is the one. I bet they are having amazing fun trying to see what they can make the characters say and get away with it, next thing you know chloe will be discussing astrophysics AND quantum physics while hack... wait a second, they just did it.

This show is getting more preposterous and more extreme as time goes on. So Chloe now hacks into NASA satellites, Jimmy is a complete ace in spy games after a crash course and a briefcase that lasted, oh i dont know, maybe 25 minutes and a satellite has indeed detected everything that went on in the vastness of the universe and it took the untrained eye of miss o'sullivan 10 seconds to find a black hole that is a "vortex that they are flying through is some sort of intergalactic time portal". Not to mention that she also figured that it is possible that the velocity of kara's and brainiac's flight created some sort of ionic displacement in the upper atmosphere.

The only still plausible thing in Smallville is the Lex story that is consistent with its characters, plot and pretty much everything. He is completely over to the dark side and loving every minute of it.

It lasted around 40 minutes and 25 minutes was a complete and utter waste of time with the chloe jimmy subplot that led absolutely nowhere except to the fact that jimmy is now lex's biatch.

Against all odds then, I gave it a rating of 7 and the reason behind it is because this is turning out to be so bad that it is actually good, like the late 70's B-list horror movies that we watch and have a good laugh and be intrigued enough to want to watch it till the end...

So take your Pop Corns, make sure you put your silliest hat on and Enjoy the film.

Question: Why is Martha Kent so apparently dissinterested in Lionel's death, her son's whereabouts and lana's incapacitation?

I am usually proud of how south park is multilayered and deals with current events, however:

This episode was way too late, it could very easily have been the first episode of the season, which goes to show that they were obviously planning to air an episode referring to a strike when they had nothing better to show. It again references family guy, but didnt anyone here notice how the randomness of the internet "sensations" remind of family guy kind of humour? i hate family guy, i really do.

I guess I felt that they could have done SO much better on this issue than what they did. Throughout the strike I did imagine what south park would make of it when it returns and I cant say I am particularly happy with they way they handled it...

Ok it wasnt half as bad as the first 2 episodes but I thought it wasnt that great either. South Park at the moment seems years apart from "imaginationland" and "the list".

I do cut them some slack after 11 seasons though and I believe they can still pick it up.

It was the very first minute into the episode where i knew it was going to be cool. When the titles started I actually said "finally!!" out loud. What a cool episode. After having sufferred massive traumas in the last god knows how many episodes of smallville I am FINALLY rewarded with this. Plot moves forward, different storyline, arcs closed and new arcs have been built, it was really good overall. I gave it a 9 and this is the highest i have rated in smallville since LAST season.

thanks to the writers. and now i will express some dissapointment for the upcoming crap episodes -because we all know they are not over--

Now I consider myself to be a true South Park fan. I have laughed at almost everything they have thrown at me because it is the sort of that is necessary in our society and I have especially found it to have multi-layered meanings to every episode so that it can take at least 1 hours worths of discussion to cover all points of a 20 minute episode. This episode was the worst I have seen and I liked Stanley's Cup. It feels as almost it wasnt Parker and Stone writing it but someone else. What was with the stupid music throughout the episode and that sitcom feel to it? Everyone was acting out of character (ok cartman is an ass but he is always likeable-not this time). For example the cartmans and the doctor laughing at the begginning... have you ever seen that before? There was a complete lack of really cool jokes or observations UNDERNEATH the dialogue. It barely had stan or kenny talking in it and i dont know, I really couldnt bear watching these 20 minutes, which hasnt happenned before.

I wont go and say that "I hate this show" or "South park is finished" like some others. It is just a bad bad bad episode and really if this is a new direction they are taking it wont last half a season. But I am sure it will be better soon. (For my mental health and everyone elses too).
