Having recently had the good fortune to be able to watch the complete Falcon Crest, all nine seasons, I think I know enough about this show to make a few comments. Thankfully we have Jane Wyman back as Angela Channing, having recovered from her coma at the beginning of this season. What struck me most is that the Angela we see here is rather confused. Okay, she's still scheming, but it all seems very half hearted. The Angela from the first 8 seasons of Falcon Crest would never have changed her will so easily, nor allowed the marriage between Richard and Lauren if she had really wanted it stopped. By this point Falcon Crest had really lost the plot, right up until Angela went into her coma the show stayed on a similar theme. It seems that the producers took the opportunity of Jane Wyman's departure to experiment with the formula. Unfortunately the new cast just didn't have the talent to pull it off for the most part. For me the ending of Falcon Crest is pretty abrupt and to be honest quite welcome after almost 20 episodes of pretty average television. If they'd still had the viewers I wish they could've gone on to make a decent 10th season where they could have sent it out with a decent pace and a great cliff-hanger just like the classics from Season 3/4 with the plane crash and season 6/7 with the apparent drowning of Chase. It was also a great shame that Emma didn't return for the final episode as she was one of the few surviving characters to last thoughout all nine seasons.

This is such a great show. It really does provide an hours worth of entertainment every time. The only off moments it had was when they had filler episodes where Jesssica herself wasn't featured - other than to introduce the story. The rest of the episodes were pure quality.

It never ceases to amaze how many fabulously wealthy people Jessica new and how many times some of the same guest stars cropped up as different characters! I think the show got better and better, I remember the 1988 season was particularly great, my favourote being the episode set in Cabot Cove where they were holding mayoral elections! That one's great, possibly my favourite. Just a great show, they should bring it back - TV movies aren't enough.

This show premiered about 6 months ago on FX in the UK. This episode featured the stunning Traci Lords as a thoroughly ruthless mafia boss' daughter who takes over the family business. The Viper team are hot on her trail and infiltrate her organisation. It's all quite exciting and entertaining. It's pretty standard fare in terms of acting and storyline. It didn't make me want to watch any more episodes but I liked it enough. The main attraction was certainly Ms Lords though. She puts in a very strong performance in this show, it's a shame herswasn't a recurring character.

This was a very special episode of Oprah focusing on the then upcoming movie 'Beauty Shop' and it's star Queen Latifah. During the show Queen Latifah revealed stories about her life growing up, her career, and about her new movie. We also got to see clips of some of her 90's rap music videos and some footage from the new movie.

Queen Latifah also took a huge fan of Kevin Bacon's for a beauty shop makeover and then on to meet her idol. The Queen's latest CD was also mentioned, but sadly she didn't perform any of her songs. Andie MacDowell and Kevin Bacon also showed up to discuss their role in the movie.

This episode was pretty funny, not as good as the other one I'd seen with Kirstie's gay ex-husband. The problem is that it can be very silly and unfocused at times. I think it would've been better with a more structured script.

I liked Kirstie's method of getting her 'holding deal' back. Oh my! Well I can't spoil it for you but it's quite fun. I didn't think the final scene of the characters dancing around was a very. It might've been funnier seeing the fat actress hosting a weight loss TV show or something - all dolled up and looking glamourous. It's was a brave series, although not the greatest of all time, it was a good idea and quite fresh.
