A triple tag
Hey all!
A week after my London trip I went on my second vacation. Nothing too fancy, just an eight-day trip with my best friends. We just stayed here in Holland, but we had the best time! We rented an apartment in Vlissingen, a nice town by the coast. We spend most of our time shopping and swimming and sunbathing at the beach. We had amazing weather all week! I guess the weather gods were favouring us!
We did all get sunburned one day, but we had quite some laughs with it, so it wasn't that bad in the end.

Last week, the week where I got home again, the weather has been dreadful. It has been raining all week, with very little sunshine. I sure hope the weather will be getting better soon, otherwise it doesn't even feel like it's summer.
This past week I got tagged three times. Instead of giving you 30 facts, I'll just stick to ten. That was hard enough already!
I must say it's pretty difficult to think of some interesting facts about yourself. I hope you find it interesting to read:
- So far I've got one fine. It wasn't that bad or anything. One morning in the winter the head light of my bicycle wasn't working, so some others and I as well (there light wasn't working properly either) got held over by this police officer. The penalty was only 10 euros luckily. My headlight always worked since then though! Once I get my drivers license next year this number might go up fast though!
- I never had the chickenpox. I was talking to some friends of mine from tv.com on msn the other day and they couldn't believe it. It's true though. My father never had the chickenpox either when he was younger, he only got it until my two brothers got it. So maybe I'll get it later in life. Who knows?

- I played the piano for about 4 years. I quit playing because it felt more as an obligation at one point, then something I was doing for myself. I might pick it up again one day, because it was fun to play!
- All my life, I've never broken a single bone.
- I bruise real easily. If I bump into something, I already have a bruise.
- I really like mustard and pickles. Lots of people don't really like it, but I love it! Once I even ate a sandwich with just mustard on it. Told you I liked it!
- When I moved to Heeten four and a half years ago, I completely decorated my own bedroom. It has blue walls, with a white sealing and white lamps and boards. All the other accessories are blue and green. Guess what my favourite colours are?

- I speak 4 different languages: Dutch, English, French and German. Well actually five, because I speak a bit of Fries as well.
- I visited quite some countries in my life. All of them through vacations, but it are quite a lot already: Germany, France, England, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Denmark, Belgium, Luxembourg, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Austria. So that makes 13 countries!
- My name comes from the Greek Sophia, which means 'the wise one'. I don't know if I live up to that name, but it's cool!
I also saw this tv list thing on David's blog a little while ago, and I thought it would be nice to put it on my blog, so here it is:
Bold those you've seen episodes of
Bold underline the shows you watch/ed as a fan
Strike through the shows you hate/d (at the bottom!)
Italicize the shows you PLAN to watch

Thanks for letting me steal it David!
Oke, so it has been quite a while ago since I put up the last round of my 'What am I talking about' game. The perfect time to finally put up a new one! Here it is:
At one point this actress was starring in a popular tv show as well as shooting two movies. What actress am I talking about?
The score so far was:
Leo - 1 point
Hayley - 1 point
So instead of putting up a song of the week, I thought I'd put up a quote of the week, to change things a bit:
Red: "I have no idea to this day what those two Italian ladies were singing about. Truth is, I don't want to know. Some things are best left unsaid. I'd like to think they were singing about something so beautiful, it can't be expressed in words, and makes your heart ache because of it. I tell you, those voices soared higher and farther than anybody in a grey place dares to dream. It was like some beautiful bird flapped into our drab little cage and made those walls dissolve away, and for the briefest of moments, every last man in Shawshank felt free. "
- The Shawshank Redemption

I also decided I'd only put up a funny story and skip the question. I don't know what I'll put up instead though. I'll think about that for a while.
This week's joke/funny story:
Real 911 calls
Dispatcher: 911 What is your emergency?
Caller: Someone broke into my house and took a bite out of my ham and cheese sandwich.
Dispatcher: Excuse me?
Caller: I made a ham and cheese sandwich and left it on the kitchen table and when I came back from the bathroom, someone had taken a bite out of it.
Dispatcher: Was anything else taken?
Caller: No, but this has happened to me before and I'm sick and tired of it!
Dispatcher: 911 What's the nature of your emergency?
Caller: My wife is pregnant and her contractions are only two minutes apart
Dispatcher: Is this her first child?
Caller: No, you idiot! This is her husband!
I hope you all enjoyed this blog!
Have a great week!
*hugs*
The subway pro
Hej everyone!
So here it is: my big London blog! With lots of pictures of course! ![]()
Monday morning at 7:30 in the morning we left and travelled to Calais by bus. The trip went pretty fast, but near the end I was happy that we were there. At the harbour of Calais we went through the passport control and after that we got on the train that would bring us through the Tunnel (by the Tunnel I'm referring to the long tunnel that runs under the Canal from Calais to Dover). I had never travelled this way before, the first time I went to England I went by boat. So it was fun to have experienced it for once, but I definitely like the boat better.
When we arrived in England we went to Canterbury, a beautiful city not so far from Dover. In Canterbury we had some time to ourselves, to explore the city a bit. It was very nice to see. Here is a picture of me at the Marlowe Theatre:

After spending some time there we continued our journey to London. We arrived in Bexleyheath, an area in London, at 18:30 pm. Our host family's were waiting for us there, to pick us up. Before my trip I was pretty excited about staying with a host family, but I must say we were a bit disappointed. After a nice dinner we had to go upstairs and we had to stay in our room the entire evening. Luckily, we brought some carts, so we were able to have some fun by ourselves, but it felt a bit prison like. The mattresses weren't so good either. The springs stuck out of the mattress a bit, so it was like having a massage the entire night. Unfortunately just not such a good one. ![]()
The next day we had to get up at 6:15. We had to get up at this time every morning! I know how sad are we?
We were brought back to the meeting point and from there we went to the centre of London by bus. We did a little sightseeing tour by bus, which ended at Buckingham palace. After watching the changing of the guards, which was amazing:

we went to St. James's park to have lunch. After that we went to the Tower of London. I had seen it before, but I had never been in there. The Tower of London also houses the Crown Jewels, so that was amazing to see. Later in the afternoon we had to do a foto assignment, where you had to visit 5 different sights in London and photograph them. You could pick the 5 sights you wanted to see, which was cool. You got a subway card, so that you could go wherever you wanted at no cost. I love the subway. I don't really know why, but I just love everything about it, so I was happy we could travel by subway all afternoon.
We went to the Millennium Bridge, the Tate Modern Museum and the Botanical Gardens. Because we didn't have that much time, we could skip one of the 5 sights. When we arrived at the Botanical Gardens, we only had like half an hour. The entrance was free until the age of 16. So only one of my friends could go in, to take some pictures and we had to wait outside. When we would have had more time I would probably have gone in as well, because it's so beautiful, but for half an hour I didn't want to pay the full price.
In the evening we went out to dinner with the rest of our cl@ss. We got the typical English fish and chips which was oke, but not that tasty. The people that liked fish didn't like this fish and the people that didn't like fish did like this fish. I guess that's because you could hardly call if fish anymore. I don't really like fish myself, but this was oke.
Later in the evening we went on a Jack the Ripper tour, which was fun. Our tour guide was cool and he told everything very clear. Here's even a pick of him:

He might even told it a bit too clear maybe, since we got all the dirty details as well.
We also came by this street, which I thought had the coolest name:

I so want to live there when I'm older! ![]()
And then it was Wednesday already. That day we left London and went to Windsor. In Windsor we visited Windsor Castle, which was very beautiful. They say that when the flag is hanging high the queen is there and the flag was indeed hanging high, but unfortunately I did not run into her!
After that we had a little time to ourselves again, so we just looked around town a bit and had lunch somewhere. Later that afternoon we went to the Eton School for boys. It was cool to see, I mean prince Harry and William went there as well, but the tour guide was not so nice. One time there were a couple of girls laughing and she was all like: "The students don't like it when you laugh at the them!" They weren't even laughing AT them, they were just having some fun together. The school was beautiful though:

Thursday was the best day in my opinion. First we went to the Natural History Museum. It might sound a bit boring at first, that was my opinion as well, but it was great! You could see all kinds of Dinosaur fossils, minerals, etc. You also had a section called the Human Biology, where you could do all kinds of fun tests as well. You could find out how good your depth vision was among other things. Mine was awesome by the way! ![]()
Then we went to the Londen Eye, by subway again.
We had lunch in the park nearby, called the Jubilee Park. We had a great view at the Londen Eye. I didn't went in though, because you have to wait it line for quite some time (something I don't like) and it's very expensive.
This teacher of mine and some other students wanted to go to a Hindu Temple. We had the whole afternoon to ourselves and I really wanted to go there as well. It took us some time to get there, but it was definitely worth it. You could only take pictures from the outside, which was already very beautiful. Imagine that the inside was ten times more beautiful then this:

In the evening you could have dinner wherever you wanted, you just had to be back at a certain meeting point by 18:30 pm. We went to a pizzeria with a group of 7 and it was delicious. Me, being a subway pro
, guided us right to the meeting point in the little time we had left. We got there right on time! We gathered at the Dominion Theatre, because we were going to see the We Will Rock You Musical. It was absolutely awesome!
This was definitely one of the coolest, most awesome things I have seen in my entire life.

The story was of course filled with lots of Queen songs and lots of humour as well. Ricardo Afonso and Sabrina Aloueche performed the two leading parts. This weekend I listened to some other video's of the musical on youtube. There are others performers playing this part as well, but and I really think we had the best ones. They had such amazing voices and acted beautifully! They had great chemistry as well!
Now I'm totally into the Queen music of course, I had one of their songs 'I want to break free' stuck in my head all weekend. Mainly because this song was performed so well in the musical. I think this is one of the best Queen songs, I love it!
And then the final day of our trip arrived already. I only got like five hours of sleep that night, so I was pretty tired in the morning, but luckily I felt better the rest of the day. Here's a picture of the breakfast we got every day:

Oke, so we left at the meeting point in Bexleyheath at 8:30 in the morning. Then we travelled to Dover. Before we went to the boat, we visited Dover castle. It's supposed to be a historic sights, but I didn't think much of it. You would have this signs saying: "The kings dressing room" and all you would see was this empty room. Not even in the best condition. So it was oke, but not that impressive. After visiting the castle, we only had to drive for about ten minutes to the harbour. We got on the boat at about 13:30. Like I said, I like the boat a lot better. Luckily I don't get see sick. We went on deck for a while as well, but it really was blowing hard, so after a while we got inside and explored the rest of the boat. I also got a little souvenir for back home.
After an hour or so we arrived in Calais and then the long ride back home started. I must say, it went faster then I thought, but I still was happy when we were back in Holland again. We made our final stop at 20:30 and we got a chance to finally get some dinner. We stopped at McDonald's, so it wasn't anything special, but I like McDonald's from time to time.
There you have it, my trip to London. I hoped you enjoyed reading about only half as much as I enjoyed my trip. I also hope you liked the pictures of course!
If you want to see more pictures, you can check out my Facebook profile. I put almost the pictures me and my friends made on there.
So I won't put up a new round of the game and a joke and question up this week, I will continue with that again next week.
I will put up the song of the week:
Queen - I want to break free
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVYgRPfC9nQ
Surprise, surprise, right?
I thought, since it has been stuck in my head for all these days, I at least have to give you a chance to achieve the same.
The clip is a bit strange by the way, but the song isn't any less because of it!
Enjoy the rest of your week!
*Hugs!*
If I catch you, you are mine
Hej everybody!
So I finally have the time to write a new blog. My exam week is practically over, I only have one more exam tomorrow. But that's an English exam, so that's going to be a piece of cake!
My exam week started last Wednesday. On Wednesday I had my Dutch exam, which went pretty well. I already got my grade back today and I had a 7.5! (Our grades here go from 1 to 10, 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest
) On Thursday I had three exams. The first one was psychology, which I thought was pretty easy. After that I had my science exam, which was one of the hardest exams, but it went oké. Then, as my last exam of the day, I had my cultural and artistic shaping. We had to write a reflection report. You have to do this at the end of every schoolyear. So I didn't have to study for this exam, which was cool. On Friday I had my natural sciences exam, which I think is one of the most difficult subjects, but it went pretty well.
Then the weekend finally arrived, but there was no time to chill and do fun things. I had to study and work, so before I knew it the weekend was over again.
On Monday I had my maths exam, which was hard. It's always hard for me to say how I do in maths, because sometimes I think it went really well and it turns out I didn't and sometimes I think it went not so good and then it turns out I did great. So I won't give you an expectation about this exam. Today I had 4 exams, which was pretty stressful. My first exam was a presentation about the books we have read this year. We read two books in Dutch and one in English, and they all were from before 1900. The presentation went well, even though my friends and I haven't even read all of the books.
Most of my cl@ssmates didn't read their books either, but our presentation went well and the teachers didn't even notice we didn't read all of them.
Then I had my biology exam, which I hardly had any time to study for. Under the circumstances it went oke, but I have to wait and see what my grade will be. Then I had my floral test. We had to study 150 different plants. They had 20 plants spread through the cl@ssroom and we had to write down which plant it was. At the end we already got our grade back and I had a 5. When I compared it with my cl@ssmates I did pretty well though. There were 15 people who had a 1! Then, but certainly not least, we had a determine test. We got three plants and with this book we always use, you had to figure out which plant it was.
Oke, on to the more fun things.

As most of you probably know the UEFA Euro 2008 soccer championship started last Saturday and yesterday The Netherlands had to play their first match. We are placed in a very difficult pool, together with Italy, Rumania and France. So yesterday we had to play against Italy and we won by 3-0!!!
It was an amazing match! You can say I went a bit crazy!
I was jumping up and down when they scored a goal!
Italy is the preserving world champion and I guess nobody thought we would win.

Next Monday I'm leaving for London with my fellow students and I'm really looking forward to it!
I'm sure it's going to be amazing! I've been in London two times already, but you can never get bored in London I think. We are staying host families in groups of 3-4 students. On Thursday we get the last details and we also hear with which cl@ssmates you are placed in a host family.
This does mean I won't be on for about a week!
Of course I will miss you all! But I'm sure I'll have the best time in London!
So last week I started my new game: What am I talking about? Hayley was the winner of the first round! Congratulations, you did amazing! ![]()
That makes the score:
Hayley - 1
I know, what a shocker! ![]()
Here's this week's clue:
Three cast members from The Simpsons have made guest performances on this show. What show am I talking about?
So once again good luck to everybody!
This week's joke/funny story:
A man calls a company and orders their 5-day, 10 lb. weight loss program.
The next day, there's a knock on the door and there stands before him a voluptuous, athletic, 19 year old babe dressed in nothing but a pair of Nike running shoes and a sign around her neck.
She introduces herself as a representative of the weight loss company.
The sign reads, "If you can catch me, you can have me."
Without a second thought, he takes off after her.
A few miles later huffing and puffing, he finally gives up.
The same girl shows up for the next four days and the same thing happens.
On the fifth day, he weighs himself and is delighted to find he has lost 10 lbs. as promised.
He calls the company and orders their 5-day/20 pound program.
The next day there's a knock at the door and there stands the most stunning and beautiful woman he has ever seen in his life. She is wearing nothing but Reebok running shoes and a sign around her neck that reads, "If you catch me you can have me."
Well, he's out the door after her like a shot.
This girl is in excellent shape and he does his best, but no such luck.
So for the next four days, the same routine happens with him gradually getting in better and better shape.
Much to his delight on the fifth day when he weighs himself, he discovers that he has lost another 20 lbs. as promised.
He decides to go for broke and calls the company to order the 7-day/50 pound program.
"Are you sure?" asks the representative on the phone. "This is our most rigorous program."
"Absolutely," he replies, "I haven't felt this good in years."
The next day there's a knock at the door; and when he opens it he finds a huge muscular guy standing there wearing nothing but pink running shoes and a sign around his neck that reads, "If I catch you, you are mine!!!"
He lost 63 pounds that week.
This week's question:
What would have been your name if you was born a girl instead of a boy, or if you was born a boy instead of a girl?
Song of the week:
Maria Mena - Internal Dialogue

Maria is an amazing artist from Norway. I already knew some of her songs, but I only got her album a little while ago. And it was just in one word amazing!
It's already one of my favourite albums I ever heard! I don't know if that says a lot, but oke...
It was hard picking just one song from this album, so maybe I'll put up another song of her on a future blog.
Here's the link to the song:

Enjoy the rest of your week!
Talk to you soon I hope!It has a little twist to it
Hej everyone!
Once again it was a pretty busy and hectic week. The school year is coming to an end and it seems like everything has to be done at the last minute. There are just lots of things to do in very little time. Next Wednesday starts my fourth and final exam week of this year. So in some spare hours here and there I also try to prepare myself for that.
This past Thursday we were supposed to have a working afternoon, as they call it at my school, from biology. In our exam week we have a plant test, and for this test we have to know 150 different plants. So the plan was to go biking on this afternoon and on the way we were going to look at all the different plants we would see. Unfortunately the weather was really bad, so they had to cancel the afternoon. It was raining and thundering the whole time. My biology teachers still have to decide what we are going to do to make sure that we can still do the test. Yesterday we also had a biology cl@ss and we always have a break after that period, so during that time we went biking instead. We saw lots of plants during our little trip, so I'm pretty confident that everything will be oke for my test next week.
I also heard this week that my math teacher got fired. Maybe this sounds a bit harsh, bit it didn't surprise me one bit. He was probably the worst teacher I've ever had and I'm glad to hear that he won't be teaching me next year. One problem about him getting fired is the fact that he still has to finish the year, and obviously he isn't in the mood anymore to explain us something. The cl@ss yesterday was not that good, to say the least. We had to repeat all the chapters we made in the last couple of weeks, for our test next week, but because he was very moody he didn't do such a good job at it. He would write something down on the board and he'd also say something with it, but it didn't make any sense, so then my friend and I had to figure out everything ourselves. I was really looking at the board, like: oke, what could this mean? And after a while I would be like: oke, I got it! And then I explained it to my friend. It also went the other way around and this way we still managed to understand everything he put down.

On Tuesday I finally watched Cloverfield and I must say that I loved this movie! Because of the extraordinary camera view the movie got that little something special to it. Besides, if the story was going in the directing of a certain cliché, something would happen that would throw the whole story around. The movie kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. If you haven't seen it yet, you really should, because I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I also watched Waitress a little over a week ago. This is a movie that maybe isn't known to many people, but I happened to stumble across it a while ago. It's about a waitress (yes I know, what a surprise!
), who is very unhappily married and she is saving up some money without her husband knowing to get away. But then she finds out she's pregnant, so that kind off puts a hold on her plans. On top of this, she falls in love with her gynaecologist.
I thought it was a very unique movie in its sort. It isn't the normal romantic movie, but it has a little twist to it. The acting is also great! Nathan Fillion, who stars in Desperate Housewives as Adam Mayfair, is in it as well.
Oke, so I was also faced with the hard task to come up with a new game, since Christine won the connection game!
Once again congrats Christine! You're now officially the connection game queen! ![]()
Here's your price buddy, I hope you like them:

I must say, it was pretty hard to come up with something, but in the end I did. My new game is called 'What am I talking about'. I give you a clue about a certain tv show, movie or actor/actress and then you have to guess what it is I'm talking about. Easy he? ![]()
Since this is the first time, I will make this an easy one:
- One of the main characters in this show had a dog called Paul Anka. What show am I talking about?
I hope you like my idea for a new game and good luck guessing everyone!
And, last but not least some other news: I went up a level!
The past level seemed to take me ages, but now I'm finally at level 11! I really like the title I know have, I'm a Red Shirted Lieutenant! And a funny star trek icon that goes with it! ![]()
This week's joke/funny story:
In France, the young assistant priests do not live in the main rectory. That is reserved for the priest and his housekeeper. One day the priest invited his new young assistant priest to have dinner at the rectory. While being served, the young priest noticed how shapely and lovely the housekeeper was and down deep in his heart he wondered if there was more between the priest and the housekeeper.
After the meal was over, the middle-aged priest assured the young priest that everything was purely professional...that she was the housekeeper and cook and that was that. About a week later the housekeeper came to the priest and said, "Father, ever since the new assistant came for dinner I have not been able to find the beautiful silver gravy ladle. You don't suppose he took it, do you?" The priest said, "Well, I doubt it but I'll write him a letter."
So he sat down and wrote, "Dear Father, I'm not saying you did take the gravy ladle and I'm not saying you did not take the gravy ladle. But the fact remains that it has been missing since you were here for dinner."
The young assistant received the letter and he answered it as follows: "Dear Father priest, I'm not saying that you do sleep with the housekeeper and I'm not saying that you do not sleep with the housekeeper. But I do know for sure that if you slept in your own bed you would find the gravy ladle."
This week's question:
What was the last movie you watched and what did you think of it?
Song of the week:
The Shins - Know Your Onion!
The Shins is a band that was recommended to me by my brother. This song is from their first album and I love it. The Shins is an amazing pop band, with great and special songs. They are probably a bit different then the normal pop bands you here on the radio, but this sure doesn't make them any less worthy to listen to.
Here's the link to the song, if you want to check it out:

I guess that was it from me again! I hope you enjoyed it! My blogs always tend to become longer then I previously expected! ![]()
Have an amazing weekend!
*Lots of hugs!*
Such good timing
Hej blog-visiters!
I noticed it was quite a long time ago since my last blog. Simply because of the fact I've been busy with work and school! It seems like everybody is busy lately!
So my weekend just started, which gives me the time to catch up on everything and to write this blog of course!
My two-week vacation ended on Monday and I must say that vacations always go by too fast! Expecially the last couple of days went by in no time, because I had to work most of the time. Not that I was complaining, it was a nice way to make some extra money!
Only on Thursday evening I went cycling with my parents and then near the end I fell with my bike, because I slipped in some pebble-sand. My knees and legs were all bruised after that and one knee was all swollen. I did have to work the whole day after that, and my knee was kind of stiff at first. Luckily it got better soon and I was able to just do my work. Me and my stupid timing... ![]()
This week I really was counting down the days until the weekend! Today the last two periods got cancelled, so I was really happy about that!
In my last period we got a informing about the graduation paper we have to make this year and the upcoming year. Everybody who is in his or her pre-final year has to do a paper with one cl@ssmate about a topic that interests you. Your topic has to do with the courses you're taking. One of my friends and I paired up together, because we can work together really well and we both wanted to something that has to do with Biology. We're not sure yet what our topic is going to be, but luckily we still have a little time left to decide. ![]()
Oke, so moving on to the connection game! Last week winner was Nats, which was her first win! So was so determined to win and she did an awesome job! Once again congrats buddy!
No your name is on the scoreboard as well! Maybe this is the start of a winning strike, you never know!
Here is your price:

Wenty and a drink: what a combination! ![]()
This week you have to find the connection between Adrien Brody, who I think we all know from the amazing movie The Pianist, and Debra Messing. This one is a bit more difficult then last week's one, but I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out! Here are the number of things you have to guess in between them:
Adrien Brody - .................. - ................... - ................... - Debra Messing
And of course a picture of the both of them:

The new score:
Missy854: 4 points
xxMrsSparrowxx: 3 points
watchmewatchu: 1 point
mscraftee: 1 point

This blog's joke/funny story:
The college professor had just finished explaining an important research project to his cl@ss. He emphasized that this paper was an absolute requirement for passing his cl@ss and that there would be only two acceptable excuses for being late. Those were a medically certifiable illness or a death in the student's immediate family. A smart ass student in the back of the cl@ssroom waved his hand and spoke up. "But what about extreme sexual exhaustion, professor?" As you would expect, the cl@ss exploded in laughter. When the students had finally settled down, the professor froze the young man with a glaring look. "Well," he responded, "I guess you'll just have to learn to write with your other hand."
This blog's question:
Who was your first tv crush, and what about him/her made you like him/her so much? (Thanks Shiran!)
Song of the day:
Goo Goo Dolls - Iris
I just started listening to this band, because I saw that mscraftee and Nats adviced it on someone else's blog. When I heard this song I recogniced it right away, because I love this song, but I never knew who sang it! So now I know and I'm listening to this song a lot! I'm also planning on getting their album soon!
Here's a link to the song:

That was it again!
I hope you all have an amazing weekend!
*hugs*

Heroes Homecoming Avg Score: 9.52 Total Ratings: 1490 Total Reviews: 107 Users who disagree: 1 |
Claire becomes Homecoming queen, to her own disbelieve, but it turns out Zack has been running a election for her. Jackie's sneering comments to Zack, lead to Claire punching her in the face! I love this moment in the episode, it shows the fact that Claire doesn't care about being popular anymore and starts to embrase who she is!
Ando and Hiro meet a sweet girl, Charlie, who has to ability to remember everything after she has read it. Later she gets killed by Sylar and Hiro feels that he must go back in time to save her. Ando tries to stop him, but Hiro tells him that an hero who is afraid to use his powers, doesn't deserves to be an hero. I think this is a beautiful line, that once again tells us, that the heroes shouldn't run away from their destiny!
Meanwhile, Claire's father tries to do everything in his power to prevent Claire from getting killed at Homecoming. You feel for him, because he already knows what's coming, but doesn't seems to be able to prevent it all. Back in India, Mohinder finds out more about the reasons behind his father leaving India and through this knows his has to continue his fathers work and go back to New York. I think the way he finds out about all this is great! He gains respect for his father's work in a beautiful way I think.
In the process of saving Claire, Peter gets thrown of a building by Sylar, but later on it turns out Peter has the same ability as Claire and isn't dead! This is definitely a must see episode of Heroes. Episodes like this, really show us the amazing quality of this show and the quality of the writing. All storylines come together beautifully, leading to one of the best episodes you have seen!

Heroes Four Months Ago... Avg Score: 9.15 Total Ratings: 973 Total Reviews: 78 Users who agree: 1 |
One thing I really like about this show is that some things stay unknown in the beginning of the season, this gives the show an extra demension and makes it that much more thrilling.
Then at a certain point you need to know what happened earlier to continue the story and that's exactly what they do, very well I must say!
I this episode all unknown bits fall together and that makes it very exciting to watch! You see how Maja learns about her powers after she saw her brother's wife cheating on him with her ex, how Niki ended up at the company to threat her ability and how Peter ended up in the shipping container.
Personally I liked the storyline of Peter the best, because in that storyline the most parts were missing and now it all becomes clear!
So if you haven't seen this episode yet, you really should watch it!

Heroes Fight or Flight Avg Score: 8.80 Total Ratings: 1013 Total Reviews: 78 |
A new character is introduced, named Elle, and she's looking for Peter. In New Orleands, Micah tells Monica that she probably has "copycat powers" and that she shouldn't be afraid to use them. Later in the episode Micah and Monica go out to test what she can do. When Monica is jumping the robes like she was that good all her life, you see how happy Micah is for her and that's very endeering to see!
In the meanwhile Matt and Nathan go to Philadelphia to find Matt's father and to see what he has to do with Molly's comatose state. When Matt get's locked in the room and starts to fight with a guard and Nathan starts to fight with his "other self" at the same time, it's a beautiful transformation when in the end they are fighting with each other! Anyone who said that the special effects in the second season are much worse then in the first has to come back at his opinion just because of this scene alone, not to mention the scene from the previos episode where Claire's toe growes back on!
Also, Mohinder takes Molly to the company and finds out that Niki is staying there as well, on her own decision, to his astonishment!
So this is the best episode I've seen of this season so far! I hope they are able to keep up the good work and excite us the next couple of weeks!

Then the part were Mr. Bennet tells Matt what to do trough his mind is amazing! He tells Matt to shoot Claire, because she can't be killed and then Ted will think Matt is real serious.
Later in the episode, the part were Ted goes nucliar and they try to give him a shot is so trilling and the special effects are just stunning!
Well and the final of this episode is just hartwarming! You see that Claire's dad did everything he did just to keep her safe and that he loves her extremely much!
This is one of the best episodes of Heroes so far! This show keeps getting better and better! Definitely a must see!

Friends Avg Score: 9.20 Total Ratings: 14273 Total Reviews: 1021 Users who agree: 1 |
Some of my favourite episodes are: The one with the rumor, The one with the embryos and The one with Joey's fridge.
These are just a few, it's so hard to choose, but these three are definitely one of the best!
The episodes where all the six friends are together in the apartment and where it's all about the six of them are the best: that's classic Friends!
Well people, if you haven't watched this show yet you absolutely should: it's to great to miss out on!

A picture collection of the one and only Nathan Scott (James Lafferty) :P Music by Depeche Mode: Martyr
This is another Naley movie.. I just took photos from the show and edit it into a movie which tells the story of Naley. (I don't quite pleased with the result, but I got tired of it, so I just uploaded it as it is..)
