Tom Welling Avg Score: 9.65 Total Ratings: 1130 Total Reviews: 109 Users who agree: 1 Users who disagree: 8 |
I have watched Tom Welling in 4 seasons of Smallville and his overall performance was mediocre at best: He can only convey very few facial expressions and his favorite in Smallville seems the be the one of a lame dog that does not really know what to do. His acting appears forced and artificial in most scenes and is just not enjoyable to watch. He had a few good episodes mostly connected with red Kryptonite where had most of his finer moments but not very much apart from that. Maybe my impression rests upon the fact that I've only seen him in the role of Clark Kent, which in my eyes allows only limited acting, but that appears unlikely to me. I'm willing to give him another shot in a different role but he shouldn't blow it. Imho it would have been wiser for him to have stayed in the modeling business, his occupation prior to acting.

Kristen Bell Avg Score: 9.69 Total Ratings: 1448 Total Reviews: 80 Users who agree: 1 |
I only know Kristen form her portrayal of Veronica Mars in the homonymous tv-show but that performance put her on my radar for talented newcomers. I have rarely seen an actor/actress that can express all possible emotions, ranging from joy over sadness to rage in one episode of a show so vividly and completely believable like Kristen. She is literally one with her character and once she enters the screen she completely dominates everybody acting alongside her. I will definately keep track of her after she leaves Veronica Mars (which will hopefully be in a very long time) or when she does new projects alongside the show. In my opinion on of the future great actresses of the television and movie screen.

Malcolm in the Middle Lois Battles Jamie Avg Score: 8.71 Total Ratings: 43 Total Reviews: 3 |
This was a hilarious episode which started out a little disappointing but turned out to be soo great:
The boys and their diving board and what they would want to do with it, the fight between Lois and baby Jamie, who is as it turns out in the end, on energy drinks Reese is giving to him (Woever else..) and Francis recounting his childhood memories (Lois as a patient mom who can't say no to "cute litte Francis" and Hal as the Hardliner, I never thought i'd live to see the Episode).
Finally Reese "last" act of stupidity, although I think he will never stop messing around, was the highlight of the episode, I was a little disappointed that it went wrong but it was funny anyways. (Dewey: "Should we get the hoes?" Malcolm: "No, he would have wanted us to wait")

CSI: Miami Whacked Avg Score: 8.48 Total Ratings: 99 Total Reviews: 6 Users who disagree: 1 |
I was sceptic about the episode when it started out with a very weird teaser, and in the end my suspicion was confirmed: An Episode that was at best mediocre. The reopening of the case was written quite boring and and there wasn't much action or activity least of all suspension. And what was that coffin builder all about?
Lame also, the dispute between Ryan and Delko, what was that all about?
On the plus side: The psycho was depicted very well by Eric Robert's especially in the flashback scene's, and we get some character developement with Yelina and Horatio

CSI No Humans Involved Avg Score: 8.88 Total Ratings: 195 Total Reviews: 9 Users who agree: 1 |
Definately a good episode, I particularly liked the starving kid plot, not because it was so gruesome but because it really hit a nerve and it had some touching scenes (Sara freeing the kids in the end, Sara talking to Glyniss, the other foster home girl).
The other plot was not as gripping as the other one it still contained some interesting things like the badass chinese cop (son of a...). I so cannot understand why Catherine reprehended Warrick for his behaviour towards that guy because it was absolutely justified, and warrick had even Det. Vartann as a witness.
