It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Charlie Got Molested Avg Score: 9.24 Total Ratings: 99 Total Reviews: 6 |
The gang learns that Charlie and Mac's high school gym teacher has been accused of molestation and they get worried when Charlie reacts oddly to the news. Dee and Dennis feel empowered to help their friend and go to the lengths of staging an intervention that includes Charlie's terrified family. However, Charlie confronts his old coach as well as old classmates who may or may have not been molested. Turns out Charlie's time with the other classmates is beyond gross, funny and outrageous. The shows first season came to a close the same way it had started - phenomenally. Highest Recommendation!

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia The Gang Finds a Dead Guy Avg Score: 9.00 Total Ratings: 104 Total Reviews: 5 |
Charlie acts as support for Dee as she visits her bedridden grandfather and finds himself in a precarious situation when the old man enlists Charlie in a plan, leading to a surprising discovery, that Dee is terrified of old people's homes. Meanwhile, Dennis (and Mac) pretend to be friends with the dead guy in 'Paddy's Pub' in order to get closer to the dead man's granddaughter. The episode definitely has some wonderful moments, but, when it is all said and done and I look at this from the 'bigger picture,' it was my lest favorite episode of the phenomenal first season. Not that it didn't touch on any taboo issues (!), as that is always a certainty, but, for me, the laughs just weren't as many as the other episodes.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Gun Fever Avg Score: 9.13 Total Ratings: 102 Total Reviews: 5 Users who disagree: 1 |
Upon learning that the bar's safe has been stolen, the gang decides to take matters into their own hands and buy a gun., being that the local cops are of no help. Shortly thereafter "gun fever" strikes, bringing out even more insanity in Dennis and Mac, who vow to catch the thief. Charlie is extremely behind on his rent payments, and his landlord is driving Charlie crazy. To turn the tables on her, the inner-tough guy in Charlie is revealed, as he uses the gun to intimidate his nagging landlord in the hopes she'll leave him alone. Again, I cannot begin to tell you exactly how funny and how wonderful this show is! You gotta watch it!

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Charlie Has Cancer Avg Score: 8.99 Total Ratings: 112 Total Reviews: 4 Users who disagree: 1 |
The gang learns that Charlie might have cancer and hatches a shallow-minded plan to alleviate his anguish. However, there is more to Charlie's diagnosis than meets the eye. Meanwhile, Mac proves himself a narcissist when he gets involved with a Transvestite to satisfy himself. Throughout this episode, it seems as if Mac, Dennis and Sweet Dee don't seem all too concerned about Charlie's potentially life-threatening diagnosis. This particular episode show the gang at their most pathetic - something that makes the show hilarious. The vanity that Mac, Dennis and Dee show is hysterical, irrational, and downright funny as hell. Definite favorite of mine!

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Underage Drinking: A National Concern Avg Score: 9.24 Total Ratings: 113 Total Reviews: 5 Users who disagree: 1 |
After noticing a rise in underage patrons, the gang decides to make a few accommodating adjustments for their younger crowd. In addition to assuaging their concerns of morality and responsibility, it allows the gang to both turn a profit and relive their high school years with a second chance at popularity. Ultimately, they get caught up in the petty politics and crushes of the high-schoolers. Dee, in particular, having a terrible time throughout her high school years, revels in the younger crowd and actually starts 'dating' a high school student. As usual, hilarity throughout, taboos all over the place, but, in the end, terrific entertainment.
