MY REVIEWS

  • show: 30 Rock

    episode: The Source Awards

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

Before the season started, I thought that 30 Rock might be a good show. But after the first couple of episodes my optimism died down a little. But lately they have been on a roll. This episode just continues the streak of great episodes. I started laughing in the beginning and I didn't stop till the end. After I finished watching the show I was still laughing remembering some parts of the episode. This show is obviously not Arrested Development, but I think that it is the closest thing to on TV right now. And that is a good thing. I just hope it is given a bigger chance than Arrested Development.

  • show: Remington Steele

    episode: License to Steele

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

This episode was exactly the correct way to start off a series. It was exciting, witty, and smart. I think that the writers, actors, and director definitely started off on the right foot when they produced this one. I was hooked immediately. I think that the witty banter between the characters was remniscent of movies from old hollywood. The comical twists and turns of the plot was also something that Cary Grant would have been proud of. It was charming and different. It didn't seem stale although the show is over twenty years old. I have only watched the first season and I don't know how the rest of the series will turn out. But whatever way that it does, the first episode will definitely stand out to me as a great piece of television.

  • person: Julianna Margulies

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

There are many reasons why ER is one of my favorite shows. Julianna Margulies is a huge reason why. I think that her character Carol Hathaway is a complex and unique one. She is a great actress. She also has great judgement in choosing her roles. Which is evidenced by the fact that she was in two of my favorite tv shows(Scrubs and ER). I love her laugh and her endearing voice. She also has a unique walk. On top of all these considerable qualities, she is stunning. If you have seen her acting before, you know what I mean. If not then find out for yourself. It would not be regretted.

  • show: ER

    episode: Night Shift

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

My admiration for ER is probably as transparent as a clean window. But after watching this episode I was once again compelled to share my feelings in this review. This episode was definitely slower paced than a normal ER episode, but I still thought it was excellent. One of the elements about this episode that jumped out at me was that it seemed as if it was real time. It also spent most of the episode engaging in character development. It also showcased the relationships between the characters, which I believed was crucial. This episode was another reason why I watch this show and why you should too. Check it out.

  • show: ER

    episode: John Carter, M.D.

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

As you all may know from some of my previous reviews, I am a huge ER fan. Some may call my interest in the show fanatical and others may call it normal. I, myself, would not have been able to describe it until now. After this episode there is no doubt in my mind that I am definitely a fanatic. This episode was the one that made me take this great leap. I have just started watching this show, so the episodes from season 1 and 2 are new to me. John Carter, MD (the title of this epic episode) was a completely enjoyable experience. I won't even hesitate to call it the best one I have watched so far. I think the writing was exceptionally done, the acting was exquisite, and the scenery was magnificent. However, don't just take my obviously biased point of view. Check it out. I can guarantee that all ER fanatics, such as myself, will find it utterly pleasurable.
