The most brillant star I have seen wasted. That's how I will sum up Shani Wallis's career. She is an amazing actress, singer, performer, person I have ever seen on screen, and she seemed to be ignored admist hollywood's glamour. If you see her in the 1968 musical film Oliver! when she was Nancy, I have seen hardly a better performance. Playing an abused young girl who was in love with the very man that abused, and later killed her, she was amazing and brought emotion to the screen. Why she was not recognized more, I don't know. But she is one of the all time greats, no doubt about it.

After seeing her movies, how can anyone look at this star and think 'overrated' or whatever. She is very talented, and has done many many many successful movies. I loved Pretty Woman, it was wonderful. I also loved Runaway Bride. If you aren't convinced after seeing those movies, of just how talented this amazing actress is, then I suggest seeing Sleeping with the Enemy. It's the most amazing performance I think I have ever seen. It's so real, it's so edgy. And it also proves her acting goes so beyond romance and comedy. She is absolutely the best out there, don't let anyone tell you different. It's not everyday someone as amazing an actress as Julia comes along.

Tatum McCann has had her plate full for being only 7 years old! She was on My Name's Earl as Cindy, in Neoned as Emily, and some others and she is a brillant young star. For being so young, she has already captivated audiences with her first major film, Click as Samantha Newman. Again, she is only 7 years old! She has all that it takes to make it; she's cute, talented, loves the camera (we definately can see that!) and already has a major fanbase that began at the age of 7. If that's how popular she is at 7, imagine her popularity at 25!

There's no doubt, Dakota is a talented litte girl. But I find Hollywood beefs her up so to speak way too much. I can't even listen to her name being called without hearing "precious dakota". This is a little over the top, I mean she's 12 years old! Another thing is, they want her for the box office money so bad, they are willing to put her at risk and also the character. In Hounddog, she is supposed to be a 9 year old girl getting raped. She is only 12, and they are to show her nude. Her parent's publicly even said "This is a great way for Dakota to get her first oscar" that's when she gets overused. It's when parents make public assumptions, and people think she's god or something and can play any role. They are even suggesting her to play a 14 year old in 2007, when she's playing a 9 year old this year. If she's playing 3 years younger this year, can she really play older when they film late this year? I doubt it. She's way overused to the point of being annoying.
