Did you realize that most Lana-centric episodes are boring and silly? Such examples are "Nocturne" and "Forsaken". But this is one of the rare great Lana-centric episodes. Other examples are "Thirst" and "Crisis". It was cleverly written and the acting was amazing. However, "Void" was a little unoriginal and a rip-off of Tru Calling's "Haunted", which had, more or less, the same plot. Kristin Kreuk was excellent portraying the drug addict who had just broken up with her boyfriend. And Tom Welling wasn't bad too, but he's done better. Maybe he looked a bit distracted because of his directorial debut in the next episode. All the other actors did well. And hey, we get to see John Schneider again! Overall, one of the great episodes of season five. I'm looking forward to "Fade". Something tells me this will be a good episode, too. Smallville is doing really good this season! Keep it up!

I'm a Clana fan, so I say NO to 70% of this episode. However, it has a nice warm Lexana touch that almost broke my heart when Lex asked Lana if he looks better with hair. To those who don't understand, he is taking about Lana. In my opinion, the episode tries to cram a lot of stuff in it... One minute Clark finds Lex shot and bloodied, the next Lana shows the officers the warehouse, and the very next, Clark wheels Lex into the hospital and asks him where Lana is. Superspeed aside I don't think that's enough time.. Uh, whatever. Why didn't Lex tell Lana the ship was gone? Why can't he explain it to her? Lana understood just fine when Lex told her it was gone. Afterall, it IS a spaceship. And they ARE in Smallville. Anyway, Clana was temporarily stopped by a red sign that said, "Stop. No human and alien relationship.. Not unless you tell her the truth." I can't wait for Clark to tell Lana the truth. The hug at the end of the episode is just sad for Clark.. and all Clana fans out there... :'( It just breaks my heart to see a fragile Clana relationship... I absolutely can't wait for the 100th episode. Lots of stuff there....
P.S.:
Oh no! Sheriff Nancy Adams just got killed!! The show CAN'T go on like this. I mean changing Smallville's sheriff every one or two years. STICK TO ONE, PLEASE!!
Oh, wait.. I forgot about the whole Jonny/campaign/senator thing. I too agree with Lois that he'll make a great state senator. He is true to his roots and he is determined not to accept help from ANY Luthor. I think this will be continued by the Jonathan/Lionel fight in the next episode. Jonathan gives Lionel back the money in the barn and Lionel must've said something to piss Jonathan off and they got into a fight! Deciper, decipher!! 6 days to go!!
NEXT WEEK:
Just sit back. Enjoy the popcorn... Huh!! Is it the 100th episode??Quickly.. go to the store across your apartment and buy 10 box of Kleenex. I know we're all gonna need it. Could this be.... one's last episode???

Smallville Splinter Avg Score: 9.45 Total Ratings: 986 Total Reviews: 70 |
"Splinter" is a very good episode. I don't think ANYONE here can admit that it's not. Steven S. DeKnight captured the view nicely and made an exciting episode out of one word: paranoia.
When Clark is pricked by a silver kryptonite, his world starts to crumble around him in madness. Clark's paronia suddenly turns into a dangerous liability about his powers, and the only one who can cure him is Professor Fine.
This episode is one of the best episodes of the series, yes. From the first act where Clark pricks his finger with kryponite, until the end where Clark's conversation with Professor Fine about Krypton. Oh, wow. There's a lot of stuff to say! First, let's go to the acting.
Tom Welling and Kristin Kreuk were at their VERY best in this episode, one notable would be Kristin. She became from one of the characters that I would cringe everytime I saw her until one of the very best characters on the show. The same thing could be said to Allison Mack. She was excellent in this episode. Kudos to Ally!! Michael Rosenbaum. Wow. One of the BEST ACTORS on television nowadays. Their performancecs are unforgettable. Finally Annette O' Toole and John Glover appeared. I thought they had died in "Hidden" or something. Both of them, including John Schneider were also very good.
Secondly, the growing relationship developments.
Clana just got firmer, I think. They're confrontation at the end of the episode, I'll never forget. Lana is such a sweet girl, and from what I think, she deserve to know about Clark's secret. Lexana just got bumped, although I know many Lexana fans are screaming they're heads off when they kiss. Don't worry Clana and and Chlex fans, it was just Clark's paranoia. Next comes the Chlark. Yep, they're relationship are binding. I love it. I really hate the WB if they decide to kill Chloe off the show in "Reckoning".
Thirdly, well.... Let's just say this episode is INCREDIBLY AWESOME. I don't think any Smallville fan can't admit that this is one of the best episodes in the season, and it won over Rosetta, Commencement and Transference.
RATING:
10 big silver kryptonites over 10.
NEXT WEEK:
Martha falls sick and Fine prepares to kill Clark. Ma Kent can't be gone!!!! Not now, please!!

Smallville Exposed Avg Score: 8.91 Total Ratings: 951 Total Reviews: 58 |
Well, no not exactly crap. The episode had it's advantages and disadvantages. First all, the good. Tom Wopat's guest starring. Well, I ain't no Dukes of Hazzard fan, but he was brilliant in this episode. He must be excited to see ol' Jonathan. I also saw a number of references to the Dukes of Hazzard show in this episode. This always happen when a special guest star is in the episode. Take James Marsters for example. Last week, we were dealing with vampires. James Marsters's character in Buffy and Angel is a vampire. Also, remember Lois's fake passport? Her name there referred to past Lois actors. I liked how the writers made references to future or past events. I'm no big fan, but Erica Durance had a blasting performance in this episode. Her being all strong and mighty on the villain and his bodyguards... wow, it was cool. Chloe finally got her first article in her dream paper, The Daily Planet. It's about time. The editor must have something to say about this. Next, well there aren't any good things in this episode. Let's move on to the bad. First of all, Kristin Kreuk, Annette O' Toole and John Glover is not in the episode at all! This is the very first time KK is not in an episode. But, hey, she had her major role in the last episode. But John and Annette? The last time we ever saw both of them was in "Hidden" and that was way back. More Lionel!! Isn't Lex at all curious how Lionel is cured from his catatonic state just like that? And he have no recollection of his acts in Belle Reve? And James Marsters too. So far we had only two episodes where Marsters was in. Arrival didn't count because he had no dialogue and he was in it for like 4-5 seconds. Gory and gross comes next. The way Melissa was pushed down the car when it hit her.... Eeeek. Gross was the Clois moment in the stripper club. And Lois as a stripper. Yucky! Overall, Exposed wasn't half bad, but I expected more from this episode.

Is Clark really imagining Lexana? Or Chloe's going to betray him by spilling the worm can? Stay tuned to find out.
P.S.:
This is the first episode in the season so far that I disliked (hence the 6.0 rating). Thirst was very good in my opinion.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Where the Wild Things Are Avg Score: 7.27 Total Ratings: 381 Total Reviews: 12 Users who agree: 1 Users who disagree: 6 |
Where the Wild Things Are is the WORST thing that has ever happened in TV and the WORST episode in this whole galaxy. Even Charmed's Lucky Charmed and Smallville's Ageless had done MUCH better than this. This is the first time I rated an episode 0.1. Seriously. Oh, gosh. Where do I even start? This is a FILLER episode and I'm surprised it got more rating than Beer Bad. 20 minutes of this episode was spent in showing Riley and Buffy sex, UNNEEDED one and so grossful. There was no plot -- there was nothing in this episode. It's an empty shell!! What the hell is this episode trying to tell us? The actors were awful!!! I guess they were frowning when they read the script too. And David Solomon is the director? What the-- what is happening to the world, people? I just have to complain about all the sex................................. YUCK!!!! Riley and Buffy and love does not go in a word!!! They are not a suitable pair. They were a terrible pair. I was jumping out of my seat and clapping my hands when Riley finally left in season five's Into The Woods. I HATE this episode. Who else is with me? Let's all rate this piece-a junk called "episode" 0.1. Urgh!!! Why 6.9? Grrrrr!!! Shoot, I can't even tell you how mad I am now. I hoped I talked some sense into at least some of you.
