Fall Line up
I am so excited that Fall is here and the new shows are starting. The only new show I've seen so far is Til Death. I was left kind of feeling luke warm. It's not that I didn't like it, I just didn't love it either. Maybe they will work out some more of the kinks. My countdown to Grey's Anatomy has started. I can't wait to get back to Seattle Grace and see how everyone is doing. Who's in love with who? Who's getting a new job? Who's moving on? Seriously. I just got season 2 today and have been doing my catch up review getting ready for season 3. Can I get a woo hoo for my Grey's fans.

Patricia Heaton Avg Score: 9.14 Total Ratings: 103 Total Reviews: 6 Users who agree: 1 |
Heaton is known as an outspoken conservative, pro-life activist and is the honorary chairperson of Feminists for Life, an organization that opposes the practice of abortion. She is a Republican and supporter of both President George W. Bush and the U.S. military invasion and occupation of Iraq. In addition, she is an active supporter for the nonprofit world-hunger organization Heifer International. On her website she mentions giving Heifer International gifts to the cast and crew of Everybody Loves Raymond. Although she has been quoted as saying "once a Catholic, always a Catholic," Heaton now attends an evangelical Presbyterian church with her husband and their four sons. She has not left the Catholic church nor converted to Presbyterianism.

Til Death Pilot Avg Score: 8.07 Total Ratings: 94 Total Reviews: 7 Users who agree: 2 Users who disagree: 1 |
I was excited to watch this show because I love Joely Fisher and Brad Garrett, but I have to admit that I wasn't overly impressed. It seems like another version of Everybody Loves Raymond. It left alot to be desired. I found the storyline to be done to death. Husband wants new toy, wife says no, husband sweet talks wife into it, but regrets it in the end. I found myself thinking of American Pie when watching. It was hard to see Eddie Thomas as anyone as respectable as a vice principal. I just think there was something off about this episode, but I plan on tuning in next week and see if it gets any better.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show Ellen in Central Park (2) Avg Score: 8.90 Total Ratings: 7 Total Reviews: 2 |
I love watching Ellen do what she does best. She surprised her audience with Beyonce's performance and then once she started her interview she got down to business. They started off with idle chit chat then she jumped right in. Ellen tried asking her how many talented children she and Jay Z planned on having. This threw Beyonce so she tried to pull herself together and said that SHE planned on having two. Well this wasn't enough of a hint for Ellen because she didn't let up. She just went to the when are you getting married questions. She also suprised Beyonce by bringing on her first dance teacher who got her started in the business. It was very emotional. Ellen also bought Beyonce a red velvet birthday cake to celebrate. It was a good show in Central Park.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show Ellen in Central Park [Season Premiere] Avg Score: 9.56 Total Ratings: 5 Total Reviews: 1 Users who agree: 1 |
This was a great season premier. She started off doing a mission impossible style chase to the set. Once there she was greeted by 10000 audience members. Justin Timberlake was her only guest, or so they thought. He performed his new single Sexy Back before joining Ellen on the chair for a little friendly chatting. She gently probed him on wedding rumors only to be told not for another 15 years or so. Ellen promised a big surprise for the audience. Which turned out to be an additional performance by none other than Beyonce. Talk about an A-List show. Ellen was hilarious doing the skit where she was asking people to try on I Love NY tshirts and short. She was pretending to be from North Dakota. She was hilarious. She is off to a great start. Keep watching!!

The Ellen DeGeneres Show Gwyneth Paltrow/Leah Remini/Marc Cherry Avg Score: 9.63 Total Ratings: 7 Total Reviews: 1 |
Ellen's skit with Gwyneth was hilarious. They were going door to door showing a trailer from her new movie. If the people weren't at home they would leave a polaroid. It was too funny. This type of segment is what makes Ellen the best talk show host ever. It was spontaneous, and definetly outside of the box. She really connects with her viewers. Leah Remini was hilarious as usual. You never know what she is going to do or say on Ellen. Mark Cherry promises another great season of Desperate Housewives without revealing too much. I really hoped he would have given more details, but oh well. This episode is just one of the examples of what makes Ellen great.
