Sure, new blog post

So apparently this does help with levelling up, at least in the earlier levels. It sure helps a lot more than posting on forums, and I really don't see how that makes any sense whatsoever. I mean these are FORUMS...its a site dedicated to TV. Doesn't that imply that posting on the topic of these TV shows is of more relevance to the site than rambling on about ourselves?? I don't really see how that makes any sense, but whatver.

On another note. Right now I am thinking that I so should have gone to Simon Frasier. I mean, that would be so awesome. You could be an extra in basically all the sci-fi shows, since they are almost all filmed there, and so many of them use Simon Frasier as a location. I don't know how many times I've seen that set used. Then again, filming in Canada probably isn't quite as cheap as it used to be with the whole Canadian Dollar being so high. Hopefully they don't stop filming in BC though. Its so much fun, since all the BC actors appear on most shows at some point or another, so you are watching something, and suddenly notice that one of the characters from another show is guest starring on the show you are currently watching. That's always fun.

Next time I feel like levelling up, I shall go on a rant about height, if I can't think of anything else.

Leveling up

Well, since I have been on this site for almost a year, and still haven't levelled up, I am going to write this to see if I can level up. It's confusing, since I have definitely found people who have made fewer contributions, yet are much higher level. It's not even that being a high level is even that big a deal, I would just like to be able to make contributions, which was the original reason that I got this account. That has backfired I suppose, since I have been sitting around for months, unable to contribute. It would probably be useful for the site to provide clearcut rules for levelling up. It's slightly ridiculous that I might get levelled up by posting a blog, whereas, posting more comments on forums than some level 2 users did not level me up. My blog really has very little to do with this site. Comments on show forums are more in keeping with the point of this site, so I don't really see how this system makes sense.

So I'm pretty sure that my jaw is dislocated at the moment...

As everyone else is saying, WOW. The last ten minutes were absolutely intense. During the final ad break, me and my friend were talking, and he was saying "I think they are going to find Earth..." and I was saying that they couldn't possibly find Earth in 15 minutes. But I was wrong. And Earth seems to be post-apocalyptic? Why do I have a feeling that it probably won't be quite that simple? Also the way that the whole cheering scene was done was beautiful.

Roslin walking in and just touching Adama's arm, and him getting back into his uniform was amazingly acted. Pretty much all of EJO's scenes were amazing in this episode. His reaction to Tigh being a cylon was pretty heart wrenching. I had wondered if he had any idea, but I guess not.

I was sure that Lee was going to hit the airlock button just before Kara ran in. It would have been interesting, and they haven't killed anyone off since Pike. I

loved how Tory went over right away. It's consistent with how she was last time we saw her. Laura and Baltar's reactions were amazing, especially Baltar insisting that he knew all along.

The look on Kara's face when Sam admitted to being a cylon? Amazing. I bet she was having flashbacks to the conversation in "He That Believeth in Me". I know I was.

Lee's speech, as always, was great. I am really starting to like this character change a lot more now that he gets to make a nice speech every few weeks.

A lot to look forward to next season; what happened with the 13th tribe, how is the human/cylon alliance going to work out, what about the ones, fours, and fives? What about Boomer? What about the opera house, and Hera, and maybe Nicky and CapriSaul child? How did Kara get to Earth? Who is the final cylon? What are the head people?

That was a really really awesome episode. First of all, D'Anna's fakeout? My instant thought was "she's joking", but then a second later, it it "Wait she's not laughing. No, it can't be Roslin!? What!!" and then she said that she was kidding, and I almost died laughing. Because, I have to agree with D'Anna, the look on Roslin's face was relatively priceless.

As for the Elosha scenes, well I got this brainflash earlier in the season that she could be the final cylon, which I had somewhat discarded because she wasn't that huge a character, and probably not everyone would recognize her right away, but now I'm thinking it could be a possibility. It's not my number one theory, but it's possible. It actually reminded me quite a bit of when "Leoban" was guiding Kara in Maelstrom.

Baltar talking to the centurion, and actually all other Baltar scenes, were just priceless. I was laughing so hard ant the centurion cocking its head. We haven't seen head Baltar/head Six in a while now. I'm starting to miss them a little bit. But I think they are going to get explained eventually.

The pseudo-Athena was a little weird, but interesting. And Roslin's line to Helo was great "You're not married to the whole production line!" But now she is obviously a little irked at Helo for following Roslin's orders.

Lee and Kara touched each other! Granted it was in Roslin's vision, but as I've said before, I am really missing the Lee and Kara interaction. It is my single complaint about the season. They haven't said a word to each other onscreen since "Six of One"

Adama and Roslin's reunion was amazingly done. So perfect. "I love you" "About time." Although the forehead kiss gave me a huge X-Files flash. But it really was perfect. It's not complicated, there is no drama to it, it just is.

The space battle was well done, and it was kind of cool to see all the cylons in their pilot uniforms.

Six is PREGNANT?! That was a huge shock moment. And the look on Tigh's face when Adama was saying that he had changed was priceless. Especially because he has been trying so hard to stay the same man. And now he is in command, so that should be interesting. And for some reason, I found that "You know how many times I've had to repair this thing?" incredibly hilarious.

Adama going after Roslin is very sweet, and a bit reminiscent of "You Can't Go Home Again", though this time he is listening to Roslin's advice and not putting the whole fleet at risk.

I also LOVED the "What do you hear Starbuck" part. And speaking of Starbuck, she and Lee are actually in the same room! That is my one complaint with this season. Kara and Lee have had a total of three conversations; the one over the wireless when she first comes back, the one when they land and he hugs her, and the one in the cell. Not one word since then. Although they have had two eye-conversations I guess. But still. I really do miss that part.

Lee, well yes it would be obvious that it was going to be him, but he is perfect for the job, and it should be interesting once Roslin gets back.

But the thing with Lance was interesting. And having Jake return just made my day. That along with Lee's full name being Leland.

Adama and Romo's conversation was wonderfully done, as were all the Bill and Tigh scenes.

And next episode hopefully we shall find out what happened to Roslin, Baltar, and the baseship.

Anne manages to mess everything up for herself, thanks to her esteemed father, and then everyone who hates the Boleyns gangs up on them to get Anne killed. And Henry acts very hypocritical.

So first of all by acting like herself, Anne manages to make it look like she is flirting with everyone, including her brother, and it doesn't help that she keeps getting drunk and saying things she might not have said had she been sober. Add to that, her family is pushing her to be even more manipulative, which isn't going down so well seeing as the king already thinks she is a witch.

Then her assassin manages to complete his quest by becoming a martyr, and George's wife, still completely disgusted by his affair with Smeaton, tells Cromwell that he was having an incestuous affair with his sister. And they torture and kill Mark, arguably one of the most amazing characters this season. I'm not sure I can forgive them for that.

And Henry get royally furious at Anne for supposedly sleeping with "hundreds of men". I know it's the times and all, but look who's talking Henry.

That was an amazing episode, although some parts were a little creepy. (Gaeta's singing and Hera in general) Personally, I'm getting the feeling that Gaeta is being set up as a red herring for the final cylon. Or I suppose he COULD be the final cylon, but it feels like a red herring to me. Opera house stuff is getting somewhat intense, although Athena shot the wrong Six if she wants to protect her daughter. She knows that Caprica is sharing the dreams, so it follows that she is the Six in the dreams. The drawings were quite creepy as well as the "Goodbye"

Kara is back in her uniform!!! For some reason that made me overly happy. And with her hair tied back she looks very "season two Kara". So she's is getting all caught up in the destiny thing, and is now helping Roslin with the opera house vision. Tigh is going to start raising suspicions if he's not careful. Though I'm perfectly glad that he kept Kara, Anders, and Athena from getting blown up. Lee's storyline got a lot better this episode. I'm not really sure what it was, but I got to see the Lee that I missed. And was it just me, or during Natalie's speech did he and Kara keep exchanging glances?

Natalie was awesome, though she might be gone now. But who knows. It looked like a couple gut shots though, and I doubt she'll be recovering from that. But her speech was gold. It was amazingly done. And I love how she was playing that Six vulnerability, which we've really only seen in Caprica, and Gina before this. And she just made a huge concession to the humans, giving them the coordinates.

I am in love with the way Mary McDonnel delivers the "Well you're sleeping with him, aren't you?" line. Priceless. And now the hybrid has kidnapped Kara, Roslin, Baltar, Helo, and a bunch of cylons, and I believe some other Colonials. That should be interesting.

Overall, absolutely amazing episode. And I have a feeling that the intensity this season is just starting to get revved up. As Ron D. Moore has said in his podcasts, this season is really one long continuous story, and I'm pretty sure we're past all the somewhat slow-moving intro stuff now.
