Whoever invented forums, GOOD JOB!
I just love the way people interact on forums. It's a community like none other (perhaps with the exception of instant messaging, but that's not the point here)
Forums open people up to other people. My site is what it is today due to the (almost) religious visits from forum peeps and suggestions from forum people. So, DUR thanks you for making it what it is today, and I proudly bear the claim that the site is made by the fans for the fans. A bit of a cliche, but who's caring?
To all my subscribers on TV.com, thanks also. And to all my complimenters, Thank you as well. It is heartwarming to see such support and comments of what i do and it is precisely this, and only this, that motivates me and my staff to bring DUR to new heights daily.
Ah well, I guess i'll leave it here for now. See you all next post!

Hey kid,
I. do. not. cheat. My moral code and religion does not permit me to cheat or lie. I am a man of my word and you can say whatever you want. Seeing you lost, it's fine if you feel sour. I want to express my hope that you will not do anything like what you have done already to tarnish my honor.
And whats the point of flaming and trolling? It helps nothing, feeds nothing but anger and serves no higher purpose, other than causing oneself to act in an utterly childish manner. So following this reflection, i have deleted the line in my signature and removed the blog post. Now, I merely wish to express my confidence that you will also grow up and stop arguing over such trifles.
I do not claim the title of dragonmaster, it is merely a username. I admit that i was real childish as well to fight over it. Anyone can claim it (the title) if they want, it means nothing to me now. In the end what do you get for calling yourself dragonmaster? A bunch of little black pixels declaring you are one. Is it worth the time, effort and harsh words, I ask you, to fight over a few pixels? I don't think so.
As for the contest, by rules laid down and agreed upon by both parties, mine was a legal win. But if you insist, you may also say that you beat me. I feel no concern for such matters any longer. I repeat, do NOT tarnish my honor if you choose to do so.
Now i hope that you can also come to an understanding. You are a person skilled in ADJL knowledge and no one can take that away from you, not even me or a defeat. Be proud of what you have. I know that, below your vulgar words, you're really a nice person, and I want to meet that person when the time comes.
Waiting to accept your friendship,
jakelongdragon

A boy. Dragon powers. A double life. Not an entirely original concept, i thought at first, and I actually believed it would fail. But then the first episode blew my mind.
I have never seen anything like it on Disney Channel. Sure, the whole 'double life thing' and the 'you're responsible for protecting yadda yadda yadda' concept has been thoroughly canvassed in TV's history, but American Dragon made it new and fresh.
Then the decision to cancel it shocked me. Ratings were sky high since the second season premiered, and it topped various children's shows lists. It hasn't reached the time when viewers say "I've had enough", we're still saying "more!".
All in all, a truly good show marred by a truly stupid decision to cancel it.

Cory in the House Avg Score: 8.02 Total Ratings: 691 Total Reviews: 139 |
I have nothing against That's So Raven personally, in fact it was one of my favourite shows. But a spinoff? this is what some people would call "whipping a dead horse".
That's So Raven. One of the few Disney shows to surpass its 65 episode rule. Cory in the house? I don't think so. Is there truly more to be had from a long running show? Every show reaches its prime, and That's So Raven did in its three seasons (the fourth, i feel, is too much, but granted the crossovers were fun to watch). But why would we want to see more of a show that is long calling to be shelved? Viewers don't want more of the same old show, it's like someone forcing you to eat the same thing daily. We want variety, and Hannah Montana is a good step in that direction.
I wonder, are we gonna see "Mrs Baxter in the Courtroom" next?

If not for the catchy music i wouldn't even be watching it, but thanks to the moderately fair soundtrack, I got round to watching hannah more often.
A person living a double life. This concept isn't at all new, but it's fresh because Disney re-invented it. Who do you know in TV history that lives a double life as a teen pop sensation? The show brings fresh blood to the Disney Channel stable of stars, and i feel that they would have the potential to go far.
Back to the show. A girl, from Tenessee, moves to florida. How often do we see such shows where people from different states confuse others? (That was easier than finding a mullet at a trucker's convention) It is refreshingly funny and it deserves its second season, but i fear that out of over enthusiasm in raking in the laughs, the show would eventually begin to bore viewers.

The Replacements Avg Score: 6.44 Total Ratings: 320 Total Reviews: 107 |
When I first saw the show, I thought, "wow". Not "wow" in a good way, but "wow" because i couldn't find words to describe how completely bad the idea is.
Replacing people with a convenient phone call? What twisted imagination thought up that idea? It seems Disney Animation has reached the bottom of its barrel of ideas and are beginning to dig through the earth below. Walt Disney Animation has produced good shows, like "Gargoyles" and "Rescue Rangers", and new hits like "American Dragon: Jake Long", the latter of which got cancelled a month ago. Why is Disney taking off shows that are clearly drawing in thousands of viewers only to lose them by replacing them with sub standard shows? I don't see the logic, but if Disney wants to go downhill and ultimately lose its TV company's viewers and ratings, I'd say the Replacements is a step forward in that direction.
Someone call Fleemco. It's time to replace the Replacements.

American Dragon: Jake Long Homecoming Avg Score: 9.76 Total Ratings: 104 Total Reviews: 43 |
There has previously been no word on the plotline of Homecoming, and that probably helped blow the ratings for this episode sky high yesterday. Besides, this episode is unlike anything I've ever seen on ADJL, heck, unlike anything I've seen on any animation. Which seriously makes me wonder why Disney would want to cancel their highest rated animation show in its history.
Originally planned as the second season's finale (before the second season got extended to 31 episodes), the show definitely has carved a niche for itself in Walt Disney Television Animations' history. With a well written script, animation by a very well known animation company, Rough Draft, and the talented cast and crew makes for a good episode. I remember the first time i watched it, I was completely blown away. If you haven't, log onto my website (http://dragonup.freespaces.com) and watch it. If TV.com's rating meter wasn't limited to a perfect ten, I'd give it a 20.
