Farewell

Just a short time ago, I toyed around with the idea of leaving completely, but ultimately decided to stay in a limited role. Last night, I changed my mind and have decided to leave. I've retired from the remainder of the guides I was editor of, so I'm outta here. I certainly wish everyone well; there are some great people here.

I'm not getting much done

CSI: Miami aired their last episode for the season last night, and I finished up the recap for it this morning. The episode was a little above average, but it wasn't as good as I was hoping for.

With the fall season over for the most part, we've got summer programming on its way in the next few weeks. I'm only looking forward to a couple of shows (and just one new show), so it could be a fairly boring summer around my house.

I contacted missribs about getting a few of my retired guides back, and was surprised when I was told it's permanent. I swear I heard someone got a guide back a few months ago. Oh well, no big deal.

I didn't do much here yesterday, just submitted a few reviews I wrote a few months ago and never submitted them. I'm not expecting to submit too much today, either.

An opinionated bunch

Within ten minutes of writing a review for last night's episode of CSI, the season finale, I already had two "I do not agree" votes, lol. The season finale seems to have garnered a very split vote of people. Many say it was great, and many others say it was fairly mediocre. I'm somewhere in the middle on the issue; it's nowhere near the season five finale. Take a look at the other reviews. It's impossible to write a review without someone agreeing or disagreeing with you. I've never seen this with other episodes of the series... very bizarre.

Anyway, CSI: Miami has one new episode left this year. They decided to be different and put out 25 episodes while the other shows in the franchise did 24...

On another subject, retiring from several of those shows a few weeks ago was a mistake. I've found no change in my activity of submissions. I'm still submitting to those shows; the staff is just having to approve them now.

Also, I recently hit 17,000 accepted submissions and 600 reviews.

Eewwww

I just finished cleaning up a big mess outside. If you miss a few garbage days, bags of trash tend to pile up. Just my luck, a big dog came by and tore into them, creating one hell of a mess. There was a reason a few of those things were thrown away, they went bad and I didn't want to see it again. Well, so much for that. Yuck!

Anyway, Monday's season finale for Prison Break was exciting and disappointing at the same time. Anyway, I loved the season overall. It's odd when you think about the fact that you're cheering for the guys who are breaking out of the prison, but there's a good reason for it, obviously.

I'm all caught up with my CSI recaps. I wrote them all for last week, and I wrote one for last night's episode of CSI: Miami. Two more to go for this week, and another next week, and CSI will be off for a break. I'm still behind on other shows, however.

Season Finales

So what season finales are you looking forward to? Prison Break ranks pretty high on my list. In my opinion, it's the best show on TV right now. None of the other shows I watch really keep me on the edge of my seat like that show does.

CSI, CSI: Miami, and CSI: NY are in the middle of my list, below Prison Break. CSI's two-part finale should be pretty good, but it'll likely be a let-down after last year's incredible two-part finale. The other shows will likely disappoint, but CSI: Miami may be the surprise. CSI: Miami has actually improved in the internal drama department over the past year or so. This is something the main CSI show lacks on any sort of regular basis. Every now and then we're teased by the "fantasy" of two of the CSI characters getting together (Sara/Grissom), but it's not likely to happen for some time. Meanwhile, on CSI: Miami, we have Horatio marrying the sister of Eric Delko, one of the CSIs. She has cancer and Eric was kept out of the loop on the marriage until the day of the wedding. He wasn't too big on the idea, especially after he learned his sister didn't even tell their parents. Also, the lab has a mole who seems hell-bent on bringing down the lab. This past week's episode left us with a "to be continued" screen after showing a man in a vehicle across from the wedding ceremony, pointing a scoped rifle at the middle of Horatio's back. This is so much more interesting than the stuff the CSI writers have come up with this year. I'm really hoping the next season will be a bit more dramatic for the CSI crew.

The West Wing and Malcolm In The Middle are both having their season (and series) finales this month. I don't expect too much of them, however. NBC really screwed up by dumping the special they were working on for The West Wing. It was rumored to because of either money or creative differences. Either way, they owned the series some sort of special. It brought the network a lot of money over the seven seasons it's been on.

I've not seen any of this season of Lost, so I'm completely out of the loop as far as the storyline goes. I loved the first season and hope to get caught up on this season before too long.

Tonight's season finale opens with several Mal Noche men getting gunned down at one of their homes. The killer isn't shown, but the gun he uses is an automatic weapon.

We cut to Horatio, Delko, and Frank examining the scene. None of the dead Mal Noche members are the one they're looking for, Antonio Riaz, the man who put out the hit on Marisol. Officer Jessop comes by and asks Frank who they're looking for, and he's briefed. He then tells Frank that he'll go and look around. As he searches the gas grill unit, he opens the cabinet door below, setting off a grenade by accident. It sends Officer Jessop flying into the air, killing him.

After the credits roll, we join Alexx taking a look at Officer Jessop's body. She pulls a grenade pin out of Jessop's back. Attached is a piece of string, making it obvious that this was a booby trap. Elsewhere at the scene, Calleigh and Wolfe talk about Jessop. Jessop started patrol just as Wolfe was leaving it. Calleigh examines one of the gun shells left behind by the killer. The bullets are Russian, likely fired by an AK.

At the crime lab, we see a number of federal agents getting off of the elevator. They make their way through the lab and talk to some of the lab techs and then end up in Maxine Valera's office and ask her to come with them for questioning. She would like to grab a few files, but one of the agents doesn't want her to touch anything. As they walk down the hallway, people look on, thinking she did something illegal. Dan Cooper comes out and tells Natalia that Maxine Valera must have been the mole, but she doesn't buy it.

Elsewhere in the lab, Delko briefs Horatio on Jessop's body. The explosives used was TNT, which makes sense, as it was a grenade which killed him. Delko has also tried to reconstruct the bomb, and he's concluded that when Jessop pulled open the cabinet door, he set off the grenade because there was a piece of fishing line connecting the door and the grenade pin. Delko then does a search to see if this matches any other bombings in the past. He's fortunate to come up with a result, a Mala Noche gang member, Carlos Santigo. He used a similar bomb on December 19th, 2005 in Tampa. He was deported, but it seems he may be back.

As Ryan Wolfe enters the an evidence collection room, he finds to people looking through evidence, and he's not sure who they are. A woman steps forward and identifies herself as Special Agent Heather Landrey. Ryan Wolfe isn't too thrilled about the feds being around the lab right now, so he explains how he's got evidence to process in regards to Officer Jessop's murder. In response, she tells him that she'll have to escort him with the evidence to make sure no one tampers with it. The other agent in the room comes across an envelope of evidence and hands it to Special Agent Heather Landrey. Wolfe's not pleased about them taking important evidence like that out of the box it was originally in. Special Agent Heather Landrey tells Wolfe that they received a tip from someone that someone had tampered with the evidence.

In a separate room at the lab, Maxine Valera is questioned by one of the feds, Special Agent Perry, I believe. It's revealed that she didn't follow protocol. She didn't count the money in the evidence envelope. After hearing from Wolfe that the feds have moved in on the lab, Horatio stops by and talks to one of the agents. Horatio doesn't want them there and frankly tells him that he wants them out. We learn that the tipster has informed the feds that $12,000 is missing from the evidence envelope. Delko enters the scene and tells Horatio that airport security has nabbed Carlos Santigo.

In the interrogation room that Valera was being questioned in, Horatio and Delko question Carlos Santigo. He was arrested at the airport because he had TNT residue on his left hand. Santigo tells them that he doesn't know anything about any bombs, but quickly changes his story when he learns that an officer was killed by a bomb. He admits that Riaz told him to do one final job, rig the gas grill with a bomb. He assures them that he didn't know a police officer was the target. They then ask him about where Riaz, but Santigo doesn't know where he's at, because the exchange of money was done via a wire transfer. Delko quickly gets out of his chair and moves the table a bit, scaring Santigo. Delko wants to know where Riaz is right now. Riaz is believed to be the one who called for the hit on Delko's sister, Marisol.

In the lab, Calleigh is bagging up some evidence to move to another part of the lab. She's being shadowed by Special Agent Heather Landrey, who steps out of the room to use the restroom. Calleigh walks over and talks to Horatio. She tells him that the weapon used to kill the Mala Noche was Russian, which the Mala Noche don't use. This means an outsider is responsible for this. Monica West enters the scene and asks Horatio about why he's asking for Memmo Fierro to be transferred. He tells her that he'd like to speak to Memmo about Marisol's death. She warns him about making the situation any worse than it already is. Calleigh has made her way back to the lab and is then joined by Peter Elliott. He's a little surprised by all of the feds in the building. She tells them about the $12,000 that is reportedly missing. Calleigh is then asked to come in for questioning.

Across town, Horatio joins Memmo Fierro. He wants information on Antonio Riaz's location, but Memmo wants protection in return. Memmo tells Horatio that he knows a man who may know where Riaz is, Rafik Omad. They did some business together, and Rafik Omad has a warehouse on Dodge Island.

The Miami Dade PD enter Rafik Omad's warehouse to search for any weapons. Rafik tells them that he ships decorative vases. One of the officers enters from another portion of the warehouse with a large automatic weapon, likely the same one used to kill the Mala Noche gang members.

Back in the interrogation room, Calleigh is being questioned by one of the agents. He doesn't go for the normal questions, he brings up personal matters, such as Calleigh's boyfriend's suicide and her father's drinking problems. Calleigh's less than thrilled with the line of questioning, so she tries to get him to change the subject. It works and they talk about normal procedures for evidence collection of money. She tells him that she photographed the money, counted it twice, and write down each serial number. She hands him her notes from the scene, which includes all serial numbers and photographs of the money.

After the interview, Calleigh and Maxine Valera talk in the hallway about being questioned. Calleigh's surprised by how much information the agents have on them. Valera's concerned about being accused of taking the money, since she didn't follow procedure, neglecting to count the money and write down the serial numbers. Aaron Peters is then shown being escorted to the interrogation room, so the feds are still are still looking for the guilty party.

Back to the interrogation room, we see Aaron Peters being questioned. He tells the fed that he followed all procedures. The agent then brings up the fact that Aaron didn't follow up on a report from a while back. He was concerned about Delko being in the crime lab when they were investigating a case involving Marisol. Aaron was concerned that Delko may have tampered with something. He tells the agent that the situation worked itself out. The agent asks Aaron if there were anyone in the lab that he would think would do something illegal like stealing the $12,000.

We immediately cut to Ryan Wolfe being questioned. It seems like Aaron pointed the finger at Wolfe. Wolfe was the last one to leave initials on the envelope of evidence, so it looks like he was the last to handle it. The agent questioning him then brings up the idea that Wolfe has an eye problem. Wolfe knows that he only told one or two people about this as a test to find the mole, and it seems he/she told the feds.

After the interview, Wolfe confronts Dan Cooper in the hallway. He pushes him up against the wall and accuses him of being the mole. Dan tells him that he had a few drinks with some feds a little while ago and he may have said something may have slipped out. Calleigh runs in and tells Wolfe to let him go. By now, a small group of people have formed to watch the confrontation.

Down at the PD, Rafik Omad is questioned by Horatio and Delko. He tells them that Riaz was paid to do something for him and he never delivered on it, keeping the money. Rafik went to the Mala Noche house to look for him and he shot the other Mala Noche members when they wouldn't tell him. The transaction took place in the financial district, which has cameras throughout.

In the lab, Natalia is rushing through and runs into Delko, causing them both to drop the things they have in their hands. While they pick things up, they talk about the feds questioning people. Natalia tells him that she's not been questioned and that she won't be. Delko then pieces things together and realizes she is the mole. He can't believe that during the entire time she's been there, she's been reporting on the lab.

In the interrogation room, Delko is being questioned by one of the feds, Agent Cole. He tells Agent Cole that he counted and printed all of the money, as accordance to protocol. Agent Cole then brings up all of the problems Delko has had recently, especially with his sister. $12,000 is very tempting, afterall. Delko tells the agent that the information that they got on him is because their mole, Natalia was sleeping with him. He then leaves the room, despite Agent Cole's objection.

Elsewhere in the lab, Horatio checks in with Dan Cooper, who has been examining the camera footage from the financial district. He was able to find Antonio Riaz in the footage, but he's also with a girl during some of it. Horatio asks Dan to leave and brings in Delko. He's shocked to find that the girl with Riaz is actually Marisol. Neither of them can make any sense of it, so Delko leaves to get Marisol's personal things.

We cut to Horatio and Delko in the lab. They're looking through Marisol's day planner. They use the date from the camera footage and compare it to the day planner, and the planner says "meet Diego for lunch." Horatio asks Delko to run a search on Antonio Diaz and see if Diego is an alias. Delko quickly does a search on his computer and he verifies that it's an alias. They then grab Diego's phone number from the day planner. Horatio knows that they can trace the phone number via GPS.

Horatio calls Antonio Riaz on the phone and there's a helicopter in the air. The people in the helicopter is tracking Diaz's location while he and Horatio talk. Diaz clears a few things up for all of us. He wasn't dating Marisol. Instead, he was selling Marisol drugs. Horatio tells him that he'll catch him, but Diaz tells him the only thing he'll see if a "fireball over Miami." The transmission ends before they can get a lock on Diaz's location.

In the lab, Horatio and Delko examine shrink wrap from Sharif Omad's warehouse. It appears that it belongs to a weapons case, specifically one used to house a shoulder-fired surface-to-air missile.

We quickly cut to helicopters in the vicinity of the Miami airport. Antonio Diaz has a plane in his sights just as Delko and Horatio arrive. Realizing that if Diaz fired his missile, hundreds of people will die, so Horatio shoots him in the leg. Horatio and Delko walk up to him and Horatio takes too shots at him, which scares him a little. Diaz promises Horatio that if he doesn't die, he will continue to kill people Horatio loves. Delko kicks him in the face instead of shooting him. The police finally arrive to arrest Diaz.

At the lab, Wolfe is accused of taking the money from the envelope, so he asks to see the evidence against him. He points something out to Special Agent Heather Landrey. There is a second piece of tape over his. Also, there's corn starch powder on the tape. The lab here doesn't use those kinds of gloves because it can contaminate the evidence. They're after the wrong lab!

Natalia catches up with Calleigh in the hallway. She wants to explain herself, so Calleigh stops walking and allows her to speak. We learn that Natalia only leaked positive news about the lab, nothing negative. Calleigh then receives a call from Wolfe, who thinks he knows who took the money. Calleigh tells him she thinks she knows who called it in. She then leaves Natalia.

Calleigh catches up with Peter Elliott in the lab. She accuses him of taking the money from the envelope. He wore powdered gloves and returned the evidence envelope $12,000 lighter. He checked out the evidence just recently, so he's the most likely suspect. She asks him why he cane back this morning and pretended to process the evidence. He tells her to put something back. He pulls out a bundle of bills. Calleigh just can't believe this. He won't admit to taking it, however.

Outside, Peter Elliott talks to his fiance, Monica West. He knows that she took the money. He tells her that she shouldn't have used all of the personal information he told her to start an investigation into the lab like that. She then admits to taking the money to turn the heat up on the lab. Calleigh then enters the scene. She convinced Peter to being a recording device during this discussion, so they have her admission to the theft on tape. Monica isn't exactly happy about this, especially from her fiance, for pete's sake. Two police officers enter and arrest Monica and take her away.

In the morgue, Wolfe is looking over the body of Officer Jessop. Wolfe places Jessop's badge on his chest and slides him back into the morgue's refrigerator.

In the cemetery, Horatio is visiting Marisol's grave. He's interrupted by Agent Park. He tells Horatio some very bad news. Riaz has given them some important information about a terror cell and instead of trying him here, they're deporting him. Delko then finds out about Riaz's deportation. They then decide it's time to go after him, even if they have to go all the way to Brazil to get him.

The season finale was a bit disappointing. There wasn't as much action as I expected there to be. Last week's episode was a bit more action-packed. I'm not that passionate with my rating for tonight's show. It wasn't great and it wasn't bad, it was somewhere in between. The ending was very intriguing. It leaves for a lot of out-of-country possibilities for next season, so we'll just have to wait and see...

At Winfred Louder, Mr. Wick comes in and compliments Mimi on her appearance. He pulls Mimi over to Drew's cubicle and asks her if he can sexually harass her, but not really. Mr. Wick thinks he's about to be fired after finding a memo from Mrs. Louder. Mr. Wick's plan is to sexually harass her, so she can sue the company, win millions, and split the money. They then try to think of someone to witness the whole thing, and choose Drew.

At work, Drew's eating a burger Lewis brought him from the Drug Co test kitchen. Mr. Wick and Mimi come out of Mr. Wick's office, trying to get Drew's attention, while Mr Wick tries to sexually harass Mimi. Kate comes in wearing shows, which have eight inches of sole to it, making her really tall. When Drew gets back to his desk, he finds Mimi and Mr. Wick making out on his desk. Mimi cries on Drew's shoulder, making an imprint of her face on his white shirt.

Later in the day, Drew comes in with Joanne, and she asks about where Mimi is. Drew put her in another department until the whole thing blows over. When Drew notices Mr. Wick and Mimi standing close to one another over at the water cooler, Drew splits them up. When Mimi walks away, Drew asks Mr. Wick what the heck he was thinking, taking Mimi like that. After trying to explain it, Mr. Wick walks away, and Mrs. Louder comes in and tells Drew that he can't testify since with his testimony, Mimi's got an open and shut case. Mrs. Louder tries to bribe him by offering to sell him an expensive car for $10, but Drew's not interested in the bribe. She then tells him that if he doesn't accept, he'll be demoted to where he used to work, and that's the punishment Drew "accepts".

A bit later, Drew's on the fifth floor, in furs, along with Larry. A young woman comes in to buy three fur coats. She pulls out a can of spray paint and paints the coats, ruining them. Larry escorts the woman out, when Oswald comes in with a package for Mimi and Mr. Wick. It's from the Caymen Islands, which intrigues Drew, so he opens it and finds an expensive toaster. It seems they opened a joint account together, which further intrigues Drew.

In the middle of the night, Drew, Lewis, Oswald, and Kate are snooping around in the store with flashlights. They go through Mimi's desk, looking for anything interesting. She seems to have a lot of old messages she was supposed to deliver to Drew. Lewis somehow figures out what Mimi and Mr. Wick are doing. Mr. Wick and Joanne come out of his office after having sex. He offers Joanne a trip to the Caymen Islands.

Later that night, Mimi comes over to Drew's, after he invites him. When she comes in, she's surprised by Lewis, Oswald, and Kate. Drew pulls out the toaster and a phone, and tells Mimi to call Mrs. Louder and tell her about the whole thing. Mimi seems to be in love with Mr. Wick, and is upset when Drew tells her about Mr. Wick inviting Joanne to the Caymen Islands. Mr. Wick then comes in and gets slapped by Mimi. Mr. Wick apologizes and says that the whole thing was a big mistake, he misinterpreted the memo. Mimi says that she's not dropping the lawsuit because Mr. Wick "messed" with her heart.

The show ends with Drew, Lewis, Kate, and Oswald going through more memos that Mimi didn't deliver when she was supposed to.

I didn't like the plot for this, but it ended up being well written and very well acted. The scene at Winfred Louder in the middle of the night was my favorite, especially with Lewis and Oswald having their "Scooby Doo moment".

At Winfred Louder, Lewis and Oswald come running in, dressed as Santa. They insist they have great toys for Drew's toy drive. They pull out two dolls, which in Drew's opinion, are terrible, and no one will choose them. Mr. Wick comes in and announces it's time to judge the decoration competition. Kate comes in, wearing an odd yellow and black outfit. Mr. Wick goes over to see Mimi's entry in the contest, which included a small group of singing boys, who proceeded to insult Drew. Mr. Wick says that Mimi loses because of a bad memory from childhood. Drew then shows off his entry, a gingerbread cubicle, everything's edible, even the computer and the pink slip. Mr. Wick decides that he will give both Drew and Kate the tickets to the Bahamas as the prize. They're both a little bummed, since they each only got one ticket, and they didn't want to have to split the prize like this.

In the backyard at Drew's house, Drew and Lewis are trying to play a game of pool, but the balls are all frozen together. Drew doesn't want to go inside, he wants to talk to Lewis about the problem with the tickets to Bahamas. They decide to go inside, and they find Oswald making something to eat. Drew decides to give Oswald his ticket to the Bahamas, so he and Kate can go together. He gives it back to Drew since he can't go because of he has to work. Drew goes into the living room and asks Kate to give him her ticket so he can take Nicki, but Nicki doesn't want to go because she's put on a little weight. Kate says that she and Drew will be able to go there themselves and have a good time on their own.

The next day, Oswald complains to Lewis about how much he misses Kate. They're both really happy about Drew letting them stay at his house. They try to play dodge ball inside, but they try to put everything that's breakable into a box and set it to the side. Lewis accidentally slips up and says something Drew told him about him dreaming of Kate. It spooks Oswald a little and he leaves.

In the Bahamas, Drew and Kate check in to their room, and notice that the room only has one bed. Drew gets a little embarrassed when he sees her start to remove her clothes.

On an airplane, Oswald is riding in the cargo compartment, thinking of Kate.

Back to the hotel, Drew is looking through the mini bar when there is a man who is to deliver some free food for the "honeymoon couple". When a flock of tropical birds come through the door, they run into the other room and call the room service and tell them about the birds. Kate sits down in the large spa, and starts talking to Drew about she and Oswald. In the hallway, Oswald is shown trying to find Kate and Drew. Back to Kate and Drew, who are talking about Oswald. She is wondering whether or not Oswald is the guy. Drew makes up a story about Oswald saying how he thought she was "the one". One of the room service people come in and say that the birds are gone. Oswald comes by and sees the man leaving Drew and Kate's room. Drew comes out and runs into Oswald. Oswald asks Drew if he and Kate had sex, so Drew told him "no", and then gave him the key to the room. Drew then asks the man who got rid of the birds if he would tell him where the nude beach is, but he won't tell him since Drew is thinking of joining in.

The show ends with Drew and Nicki making out on his couch, and stop when they hear someone on the TV introducing Mimi and a boy's singing group. They proceed to sing a song which insults Drew.

I enjoyed this, although some parts were pretty silly, such as the exchanges between Drew and Oswald when Drew offered him the ticket to go with Kate to the Bahamas early in the episode.

Kate, Lewis, and Oswald are sitting in Drew's kitchen, trying to think of ideas to do with the extra Buzz Beer labels they had from the Christmas labels. Out in the garage, the Buzz Beer tanks exploded, so they went to check it out. Oswald points out the pipes froze, which caused the explosion. The neighbors come over to complain about being hit by Buzz Beer.

Later that night, Drew, Kate, Lewis, and Oswald are getting the table ready for dinner with the neighbors. Since there's not enough room for everyone, Lewis and Oswald have to eat at the kiddie table. Drew goes outside to take the trash out, and overhear the neighbors talking about Drew and his friends. Drew runs back in and waits for the knock on the door. When they come in, they all chat about the beer. Drew can't afford to get the brewery back up and running, since the tanks are several thousand dollars. The Clemens' start talking about investing in Drew's Buzz Beer. During this whole time, Lewis and Oswald are acting like little kids. Greg insists that if he becomes an investor, he has to be the boss, which Drew agrees to since he doesn't have too many options.

Drew comes into work and sees Mimi, drinking coffee. Drew complains to Mimi how much pressure he's under with the new investor. Greg comes in and asks Drew for his inventory data. Mr. Wick comes in and asks Drew who the man is, and Drew explains he's his other boss.

In Drew's garage, Kate, Lewis, and Oswald are busy bottling Buzz Beer, but Lewis asks them to hurry up since he's got a big date. They go inside to find Drew counting beer labels. Greg comes in for a Buzz Beer meeting. He brought in a big map of the distribution area. Kate and Oswald bring in two more boards with charts. Drew realizes that he's surrounded by three walls, with a phone and computer, instantly reminding him of being at Winfred Louder. Janet comes in and asks him to go with her, but Greg wants to be there, working on the business. When Oswald and Kate leave, Greg and Drew go out to the garage and do some quality control, which is nothing more than an excuse to get drunk.

Later that night, Drew and Greg are running around in the back yard, scared by the dogs that are chasing them. They evade them by going into the garage. A few seconds later, they hear an odd sound from one of the tanks, and it explodes, leaving beer splattered all over the house. Inside, Drew and Greg are upset. Janet comes in and says that the business is done now. Lewis comes in after noticing the garage blown up. His date didn't go any better than Drew's night was.

The show ends with Mimi drawing a face on Drew's hand, while he sleeps. When Drew wakes up, Mimi says this is a first, him waking up with a girlfriend.

I enjoyed this episode quite a bit. Seeing the tanks explode, and splatter beer up along the house was hilarious. You could even hear the studio audience gasp when it happened.

At home, Drew comes in with a case of Buzz Beer in his hand. Kate comes out of the front room with a large Budweiser bottle, with Buzz Beer written on it. She hopes it would help get more people to buy their beer. Oswald comes in with another bottle, and tosses it out when he notices the other bottle in the room. Lewis comes up, out of the basement with a box of things. He pulls out an apron which has a half-naked woman painted on it, and puts it on Drew. Drew grabs the large beer bottle, and picks up an old Playboy someone had out, when there was a knock on the door; it's Reverend Lindemann. Seeing Drew with the beer bottle, sexy apron, and the Playboy was awkward. He asks Drew to volunteer at the nursing home, as he's short of help.

Mimi comes into work, when Drew notices she's wearing a biker outfit. Mr. Wick comes out and fires Johnson, and tells Drew that he has to do inventory this weekend. Mrs. Louder comes in and puts Drew in charge of getting people into volunteering. When she leaves, Mr. Wick comes back over and tells Drew that the volunteering program is mandatory.

At the nursing home, Mimi is giving a lesson in self defense. When her hour is up, Lewis and Oswald come in to help out. A man in a wheel chair comes in, saying he won, shortly followed by Drew, running. Drew's not so fast on his feet apparently. Drew tries to cheer people up, but it's really boring there. The man he raced asks Drew if he can take them to the store, just to get them out of there for a little while.

At the store, Drew's getting a lot of help from all of the people from the nursing home. Gus, the old man who raced Drew took several photos of Drew, in several situations where it made him look really bad.

At the Warsaw, Drew sees a news story of the whole thing, which makes Drew look terrible.

At work, Kate comes in and asks Drew what's going on with all of the senior citizens picketing the store. Mrs. Louder comes in and tells Drew to send out a memo saying he was fired, but he really won't be fired, it's just a way to get the public attention off the store. Drew isn't willing to do it, so he has to get Gus to admit he lied about the whole thing.

Drew walks into the nursing home to see Gus. Lewis and Oswald come in with a big screen TV someone donated to the senior center. Lewis and Oswald go behind the TV, and puts on a little show, using the fake TV as a prop. Mrs. Louder comes in and tells that if everyone signs the affidavit, saying Drew didn't do anything wrong, or she'll buy the place, and turn it into a department store. They agree to sign it once the store promises to give them some things to improve their lives. Larry comes in to see Mrs. Louder and talk to Drew, who orchestrated the whole thing. Getting Larry back got Mrs. Louder to make the offer to the elderly people.

The show ends with Oswald and Kate watching Lewis and Gus put on an act behind the fake TV.

This was a really silly episode, but my favorite scene had to be when Reverend Lindemann saw Drew with the apron, the Playboy magazine, and the large beer bottle.
