Of course, with the premise of this series you expect things to not be as they appear. Well, they went a step or two further.

This episode illustrates a good suggestion. When you first look at something and you think you know what's going on, look again. Just to be sure.

There's an old saying (well, semi old). "Good guys don't always wear white hats." Or "The guys with black hats aren't always the bad guys." Either way you want to say it.

A couple of the plot twists I might have expected. But I was caught up in trying to figure out why certain people were acting the way they were. In my mind I cross referenced their actions with other cops in other shows. I was surprised that the reasons weren't what I thought. Great!

At the end I was pleasantly surprised to see who was doing what, and who the real bad guys were.

I like how they drop a few more hints into Harry's life each episode, instead of piling it all on at once in the first episode.

I'm starting to like Bob. They should bring out a bit more of his past.

Have you ever watched a cat get ready to pounce? They don't just pounce. They bunch up all of their muscles and they get more and more tense for a few seconds. Then they release all of that energy at once.

This episode reminded me of that. There were some average moments that you would expect in the real lives of people who were living in this type of situation. Just basically trying to make the best of whatever situation they were in.

But there were a few plot lines that seemed to be building up for a huge pounce.

Sylar's escape and the sneak peeks from next episode suggest that something big is coming there. Nothing really big happened in that plot line until the end and then you get this one flash of interaction between Mr Bennet and Sylar. Then the sneak peak of next episode suggests that Sylar is about to do something big. The tension and then the pounce.

The same with Niki. The setup is all there. The doctor is alone with her in the room. And the sneak peeks show Jessica coming out and doing something to the doctor. The tension and the pounce.

I think you have to alternate from tension to pounce because if it is always on-the-edge-of-your-seat you will get burned out. And if it is always slow you will tune out.

This episode gets you primed for the next great flurry of action over the next few episodes.
