very powerful ending. i loved watd id say was the moral of the story. the man was so scared, so petrified of "aliens". the way he viewed them were differnt scary creatures who cant be trusted...he was skeptical. when he meets him everything seems to be going swell. they seem to treat him very nicely and hes very gratefull. the ending, the best part, he realizes he is trapped in a cage, and everyone is watching him like hes some sort of animal..some sort of creature that they throw peanuts at. it turns out he was the alien, and he was the one who was looked at as a monster. the best part of the episode was the ending. "you were right, humans are alike all over". humans are harsh and cruel to those who surround them, and all are guilty of being untrustworthy

i think this episode is really great. it really makes you think. dreams are rele crazy stuff....sometimes you can be in a dream and you could just swear that everything your doing is real and then bam youll wake up. this guy was stuck in his dream and it wasnt a good one(getting sent to electric chair!) everyone in his dream were people who he met before, because thats how far his mind capacity went. i especially liked how in the ending, the man who he was talking to across the cell was this time the judge who sentences him. it is a crazy concept...what if your whole lives are just pawns in anotehr persons chess set? wat if once that person wakes up we dissapear? dreams are some crazy stuff and i think this episode depicted it perfectly. "have you ever had a dream where you woke up screaming the next day? where everything seemed so real?" i thin kwe all have

this episode is what got me into this show. i remember falling asleep by my bed and then all of a sudden jumping when i saw this ending. its such a brilliant twist that i definatly never saw coming. many of the episodes in twilight zone are amazing, but are different because it involves some sort of supernatural element in the episode. the reason i liked this one so much was because it was all so real, and could have all happend. i reccomended this episode to many people and got them into the show as well. poor guy...he just wanted to prove what type of a person he was while making a couple bucks...shows in life that nothing is 100% and we should never make long term changes(like cutting ur vocal cords!)
