      I knew this day would come... when the competitive sport known as gaming would be taken seriously by the sporting community. It may not be huge yet, but this deal shows that there is indeed a future for the MLG on the mainstream level.     • A solution to my online burnout

      I made a thread about this in the forums, but I decided I'd start my blog off by posting all of my forum ideas into my blog for hindsight purposes. Being a big fan of online shooters, I have recently discovered that the only reason I get tired of playing them has nothing to do with the fact that I get burnt out on the gameplay. Sure I may to an extent, but it's nothing I can't recover from with a day or so of rest. What really turns me off from playing the game is the fact that I will be confined to the same maps the majority of the time that I play. So I have come up with a great idea. If developers were to create a team dedicated to doing nothing but creating multiplayer maps to be released as DLC on XBL at a given interval (perhaps every 2 or 3 months?), not only could they make...
