    The Bottom Line: "Great"

This episode is a good one to further the plot, but does not show the true essence of the story. It includes the return of Lucius Vorenus to his family for which he has been seperated from for eight years because of conquests in Gaul. The story reveals an important detail in the relationship between Lucius and his wife. While he was away at war in Gaul, his wife believed him to be dead and thus she had a very intimate affair with her sister's husband, a relationship which produced a child. Immediately upon her husband's suprise return she tells her oldest daughter to reveal to her father that the child is hers so not to have problems with Lucius. The episode reveals the great story with some very profound and memorable acting by the key actors of the series. It is a vital episode for viewers of the show to watch because of it's importance in developing the story.

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

This episode of Rome is the pilot of the series and serves to introduce the reader to the characters and the key details of the situation that the show will revolve around. We are introduced to Julius Caesar, the triumphant conquerer of Gaul, his faithful friend, Marc Antony, and the various peoples of the Roman Senate, ruling families, and Roman legionairs. The story revolves around the three major plots. The first is that of the life of Julius Caesar and his battle with the Roman Senate, the second, the story of a family in the ruling family of the Julii, and the third, the story of a Roman legionair upon his return to his family after years of seperation. The acting in this episode is good, but does not reflect the true power of the actors' abilities because of the episode's purpose. However, it is a great start to an unbelievable story.

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

The first season of Rome is all about the conquests of Julius Caesar and the dissolution of the Roman Republic. However, the failing of the Republic throws the empire into a war between the labeled tyrant Julius Caesar and the leaders of the Roman Senate. The first season has the amazing acting talents of some of the greatest contemporary Shakespearean actors and includes costume and set design to make such a great experience. Although, it was critically acclaimed, Rome has been facing off against some big hitters on HBO's lineup. It is surrounded by the unbelievably successful Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and The Extras and thus does not recieve the ratings that allows HBO to continue to shoot the show at such a very high price. This show was an HBO and BBC led production and is set to end this year after the second year. It is a very big shame if a person is to miss this show for others. Although it will be leaving the air soon, it is a real shame if people do not see the show, because they are missing out on a rare television feat.

I Owe Johnny Yong Bosch and Nolan North an Apology

OK, my bad, my bad: In today's Prince of Persia marathon, I said that Johnny Yong Bosch is the voice of the Prince, but I had Persona 4 in my head--a game in which Mr. Bosch does lend his talents. Rather, the Prince is voiced by Nolan North, well known for his work in Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.

So make a note of it: I got all mixed up. Both are talented actors, but I wanted to make sure I gave credit to the right one!

    I'm Back!

Hey guys! I am back from the family Thanksgiving and it was sweet! I went to stay with the wife and in-laws at their vacation home in this little town called Chelan. Its very small, in fact, its pretty much impossible to get internet out there, well besides dial-up *puke* so I had to suffer without the internet or online gaming.

After a couple of days of cold sweats and uncontrollable twitches, I managed to break my online gaming addiction and settle with single player.

Just kidding. It was nice and relaxing. Not a lot that I can say though. Went there, ate too much, and came home.

    The end.

Then I come home, boot up the ole internet, and have like 60 freaking messages on here! I was like "Holy crap!"

Then I noticed that alot of them were talking about my blog appearing on Kotaku, so I had to see for myself. Sure enough, I guess they thought that it was funny enough to do their own piece on it! I thought that was cool. I am glad that more people will find it funny!

You can see the Kotaku coverage HERE.

Never thought that my gamespot blog would ever be mentioned at another website.

I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving though. I also got another 360! So I will be online soon! Like Thursday! Well, Thurs. because I have night cIasses until 11 p.m. Mon.-Weds.

I noticed that alot of people were interested in my gaming collection, so my next photo blog will cover that. I have accumulated some cool stuff over the years, and love sharing it with everyone! It will be fun too.

Well, its like 12:45 in the morning here and I gotta get up tomorrow so I will talk to all of you later!
