    The Bottom Line: "Good"

The series begins with a spooker about a creepy Scrooge like miser who holds IOUs from everyone in his small town. On Halloween night, the guy lets all the local kids search his house for the IOU slips, while he tries to scare them out the front door using tricks and noises.

The special effects and the music make for a somewhat frightening show. George Romero directs and is a co-writer and being the king of low budget horror, he pulls it off nicely. The acting and stories improve later in the series, but this is at least a decent beginning.

    The Bottom Line: "Great"

The idea behind the 4400, abductees returning with special powers, was a really good one. Often the episodes veered off into pure soap opera dialog that really bogged the show down. Some of the best episodes were one-off, stand alone stories about individual returnees and how they were trying to fit in and how they dealt with their new found powers.

I'd like to see one of the networks take another shot at this program. Even if there is a few years gap, they could just skip ahead in the story. Any actors that they can't get to come back they can claim the character is dead or re-abducted or something. Unfortunately this will go down on the long list of unfinished Sci-Fi series, of which we have too may already.

    The Bottom Line: "Great"

I really enjoyed this one because it had ample plot twists and guest starred Adam Baldwin. Adam Baldwin is a great choice to play Kenton, because he is able to play really sypmathetic good guys, but also is quite credible as the psychotic nutjob killer. This episode also revealed a lot more of Booth and Brennan's background and looked into their characters more. Also we see Booth being treated by the squints as one of them not just the guy who brings them cases. Booth actually gives verbal encouragement to Zach and Hodgins visits Booth in the hospital, showing more of an integration of the team in general as well as the Booth-Brennan relationship.

    Twilight--The Movie

Go see Twilight. It's an enjoyable movie. It's more about teen angst than vampires (though I love a good vampire flick that's not too gory). There was a lot more humor than I expected. The acting is great and the cinematography is striking. I didn't think it would be that good, since the critics panned it. The story stayed close to the book, so the book fans of this series should not be disappointed.

It would have been a perfect evening, except two teenagers spent the movie by talking loudly to each other (and on the cell phone) and giggling during quiet scenes. Of course they were sitting close behind me.

Sid hits three milestones in one night!

Sidney Crosby, one of the finest hockey players of all time scored a goal and three assists tonight, getting a point on all four of the Penguins goals in a 4-1 win against Toronto.

On the first goal by Pascal Dupuis, Crosby's assist was his 200th career assist.

He assisted on Miroslav Satan's goal (the game winner), this was Sid's 300th career point.

Sid scored the third goal of the game, which was his 100th career goal.

On top of all that, Evgeni Malkin assisted on all four goals, including his 200th career point!

    Woot! Congratulations boys!

    TV.com Looks...Kinda Weird

I mean...it looks swanky and all, but it's almost like it's too white. Know what I mean?

I also love that the Change Submission Type button has now disappeared completely from submission entries, and we have a new non-working "Push" button(I tried them on your Summary Subs Tinnie, ) Is it just Firefox, or is it the site? Also my Favorite Boards have disappeared from the "Community" (read: Forums) section.

I also seem to be having a problem rejecting submissions. A technical problem, not a moral or ethical problem. They just don't reject. So help me if I get a Message about leaving a sub in my queue for too long...I drink YOUR milkshake!

Granted I expected bugs, so no "Itz NEW, CHILL!" comments, please. And I'm sure they'll get everything up in a nice, orderly fashion.....

Also, posting blogs doesn't seem to work either, but I commented on a news storry just fine. I got this up through MovieTome.

Don't forget, tonight's the premiere of Season 4 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia!! Make sure to watch the hilarity
