    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

The public relies on law enforcement for protection and safety. For many years, American viewers have had some good shows to let us see the things police officers have to go through, but none up until now have dealt specifically with just the first-year officers. "The Rookies" follows some new cops as they go to work on their normal assignments. Common sights include traffic stops, the hassles of getting suspects under control, and the quirks of getting used to working with more experienced officers. The show owes a lot to "Cops," as one might think, but this time around, the viewers as well as the officers profiled get to learn as they go. This is a good series, and I hope they keep it around.

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

While this season has been inconsistent, the prison episodes being teriffic, though a couple of poor fillers like another Cops and the Creative Writing, the coma being original, though the sitcom fantasy getting old fast, and Earl rushing into a third doomed marriage, which was funny but repetitive, My Name Is Earl was still very entertaining, and this was a great way to end the season. While there was a lack of the list this year, the show is more about karma in general, which was used very well, and was quite funny as well, and of course the white trash element of the show was still alive and well.

As for this episode, it is hilarious, particularly the Randy/Greta conversations, and Billie going insane after Earl really makes a stupid choice when deciding between a hot wife and a piece of paper. The ending with the trade of Greta for Billie to the Camdenites was an interesting choice and while it wasn't quite believable, it was still very funny, especially Earl's dreams of dying.

Overall, this episode is a great example of the third season, entertaining and original, and now that Earl's back to the list, hopefully next season will stay as fresh as this one has.

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

This episode is very funny, as Earl starts crossing off some bad things he's done to women, in an attempt to have a happy marriage. While this clearly shows that Earl's karmic beliefs have gone way into overdrive, since he thinks karma controls Billie's personality, it is quite funny.

As he finally crosses Didi off his list, with a bit of an anticlimax, as well as some hilarious moments involving Billie's cruelty, the episode is a great one, and while it seems the marriage is doomed to fail, it does prove that you shouldn't rely on a karma coma to make your decisions for you.

    December is here!

Wow. I can't believe it. Today doesn't even feel like a Monday.

I finally figured out how to set the time and date on my little mp3 recorder. I had to get a new tape player over the weekend because my old one started eating tapes. Yes, I still have those, and I'm using the mp3 recorder to transfer all my old colletion onto computer-friendly files. Technology, sometimes it's neat...

I got two rare books in the mail today. Yipee! I love finding good stuff to read. I also got a CD of church music. I love traditional choral music.

Today I started work on a new writing project. It's okay, not quite as good as I wanted, but there's plenty of time to work on it. I've been wanting to do that for a while.

It was odd at 4 today-- two stations were running "American Justice" at the same time. I love that show, but it creeped me out to see it running on two separate channels at once. I kept flipping back and forth to see if something was wrong with the controller. Nope! It was true.

I am going to get something to eat. See you later.

It's not my birthday today, or my dog's, but I thought this was funny.

    dog fun

    Wonderful Tonight

    Tennis Elbow
One day, in line at the company cafeteria, Jack says to Mike behind him, "My elbow hurts like hell. I guess I better see a doctor."
"Listen, you don't have to spend that kind of money, " Mike replies. "There's a diagnostic computer at the drugstore at the corner. Just give it a urine sample and the computer'll tell you what's wrong and what to do about it. It takes ten seconds and costs ten dollars...a hell of a lot cheaper than a doctor."
So Jack deposits a urine sample in a small jar and takes it to the drugstore. He deposits ten dollars, and the computer lights up and asks for the urine sample. He pours the sample into the slot and waits.
Ten seconds later, the computer ejects a printout: You have tennis elbow. Soak your arm in warm water and avoid heavy activity. It will improve in two weeks.
That evening while thinking how amazing this new technology was, Jack began wondering if the computer could be fooled. He mixed some tap water, a stool sample from his dog, urine samples from his wife and daughter, and placed his manhood fluids into the mixture for good measure.
Jack hurries back to the drugstore, eager to check the results. He deposits ten dollars, pours in his concoction, and awaits the results.
    The computer prints the following:
    1. Your tap water is too hard. Get a water softener. 2. Your dog has ringworm. Bathe him with anti-fungal shampoo. 3. Your daughter has a cocaine habit. Get her into rehab. 4. Your wife is pregnant...twin girls. They aren't yours. Get a lawyer. 5. If you don't stop playing with yourself, your elbow will never get better.

So here is a crazy illusion with a black and white image where you stare at the center of a 100% luminosity version of the same photo and after thirty seconds the black and white version looks like it is in color.

Happy Thanksgiving/ Disturbed Does it Again!

Yeah I guess the first thing said itself. Im enjoying the House and Dirty Jobs marathons.

And once again I have found something new because of Disturbed. No secret their my favorite band, and they were literally one of the first I listened to. And because of them I've found many other bands I've liked along with other stuff. But anyways, with their upcoming Music as a Weapon IV tour (which Im going to cause Mayhem was awesome) they have gotten two of the bands that are going with them. The first, Killswitch Engage which are my 2nd favorite band (Slipknot is 3rd and they toured with Disturbed during Mayhem) and the 2nd is Five Finger Death Punch. I'd never heard FFDP so I listened to thei most popular song on iTunes, Never Enough. And liked it. along with two other songs The bleeding and The Way of the Fist (also album name.) But I quickly discovered they are a very good bad *** metal band. And I want the rest of The Way of the Fist album. Unfortuantlly right now LimeWire isnt working on my computer and I cant find a good torrent so Im not getting it anytime soon unless someone has it on RapidShare, but then again you cant search on RapidShare as far as I know. But Ill hopefully get it soon.

From what I was saying, after hearing Disturbed I looked them up on iTunes and found Richard Cheese (yes Cheese is important lol) and while his music is um, weird, from there I found a song called People = ****. I found the original artist, Slipknot and from their my real love for metal started. Of course I listened to music before that, but nothing real heavy mostly stuff like Metallica and Guns 'n Roses.

Not much more for now, Im going to keep up my search for The Way of the Fist.
