The Bottom Line: "Superb"
OMG, we actually got to see Dean cry for the very first time! I don't mean a tear drop here, a sob there... I mean a full on, tear streaming, grasping, lip-biting cry! It was so sad. And Dean had good reason to cry. He did hurt other souls like he was hurt. Dean must be killing himself inside at what he did. I almost imagined him to say, "And I imagined every one of those souls was you!" Dean's greatest concern is Sam, so I thought he would have encountered some emotions about Sam. And poor Sammy, to know that that was what big brother had to go through. Love how in the end, when it was Winchesters vs. angels, Dean gave up Anna to save Sammy. I guess we should have known. I still think that in this epiosde there needs to be more of the brother aspect we were seeing in previous seasons. I miss that angst. And I STILL don't like either Ruby 2.0 or Anna, this was still a very angsty episode. PLUS, I wonder what's up with Castiel. He loved her doesn't he! Great eppie!
