In the last couple of days I managed to watch a couple of episodes from different series.

Samurai Girl - Episodes 1, 2, 3, 4

The Story of Samurai Girl is very interesting. I am enjoying it and hope to finish thelast two episodes. I didn't expect it to be this good.

90210 - Episode 5

I really liked the last episode. I enjoyed seeing Silver and Dixon ending together. I felt sorry for Annie, she and Ty are good together, but Adrianna manipulated everything.

True Blood - Episode 3

Another solid episode by True Blood. The more time passes by the more this series is getting interesting. Definitely one of the best new 08/09 series so far.

How I met your mother - Episode 1

Following the events of last season Barney is having feelings for Robin. He tries everything to show her he likes her, but she hooks him up with someone else. I really hope they end up together.

Prison Break - Episode 5

Another solid episode by Prison Break. Lincoln finds out that Michael is not well. He tells him to tell Sarah, but Michael is having none of it. They manage to identify more card holders, but no information comes about the General. He is a complete ghost.

The Big Bang Theory - Episode 1

Penny and Leonard just had their first date, and Penny thinks she is not good enough for Leonard. She confides a secret in Sheldon but Sheldon panickes and even leaves home. He ends up telling Leonard. It was quite funny to say the least.

Gossip Girl - Episode 4

A lot of scandal happened in this episode. Vanessa finds out that the Duchess and the Lord were having a relationship and she tells Blair about it. Meanwhile after Dan and Serena split up, Chuck manipulates Serena into becoming the S of old. Looks to be quite interesting where it will go now with S being back to her old self.

Smallville - Episode 1

A very good season premiere by Smallville. I enjoyed season 7 a lot, and it looks like season 8 is going to be quite good as well. Clark is now working at the daily planet in front of Lois. Hopefully we will see them together

New Site + TV Series by kawadge

New Site

First of all I would like to start like many others with the new site. Although the colour scheme is good, I don't really like it. It seems that nothing in it works anymore, and to find something it takes you ages. I am writing this blog from movietome, cos at TV.com I can't. I will now review the episodes of different series I watched the past week.

Sons of Anarchy

I have seen episodes 2 & 3 of Sons of Anarchy. I am really enjoying it. The story behind it is quite good an interesting. And following the ending of episode 3, things will definitely get more interesting.

Gossip Girl

Another solid episode by Gossip Girl. I really felt sorry for Dan and Serena cos they are meant to be together. And it seems that faith don't want couples who are destined to be together. Same goes to Nate and Vanessa as well as Chuck and Blair. The more Blair tries to denies it, the more she is similar to Chuck and they belong together.

90210

One of the best things that was revealed in the fourth episode of 90210 is Sammy's dad. I was expecting it to be Brandon but when I heard it was Dylan I was shocked and happy. I always saw Kelly being with Dylan and I am glad that she has a kid from him. It looks as if Dixon and Silver will hook up. I really would like to see that happening.

Fringe

Following the great premiere episode, Fringe returned with another solid episode, although I must say that it was not as intriguing as the first one. I am still of the belief that Fringe will be the best new series for season 2008/2009. The actors are great and the story has a lot of X-Files in it crossed over with LOST. I like it a lot.

Weeds

The season finale of Weeds was quite good. When it seems that Esteban is going to have to kill Nancy after finding out she was the informant she shows him her trump card. She was pregnant with his child. And Esteban got a huge shock. Will be interesting to see how this will play out.

True Blood

After watching the first two episodes of True Blood, I must say that I am not surprised that the show was renewed for a second season so early. The show is very dark and graphical, but I really like it. Hopefully it will continue on the same way that it started.

Prison Break

After the 4th episode I can confirm that Prison Break has returned to the level of season 1 and 2. I am really enjoying this season which is much better than season season 3. It was very funny seeing Lincoln, Michael and Mahone dressed up as policemen.

Terminator : The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Episode 2 of th second season of Terminator : The Sarah Connor Chronicles continue with the same speed of the first one. We see Catherine, the T-1001, taking over the Nuclear Power Plant after its failure, so that she can continue the plan of creating the IA ultimately creating Skynet.

In the last couple of days I saw two other season Premiere's. I watched Terminator : The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Fringe.

Terminator : The Sarah Connor Chronicles

I really enjoyed the season premiere of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. It continued where it left off in season 1. When John Connor decided to go against what his mother and uncle told him, and decided to save Cameron was one of the best parts of the episode. This is fastly becoming one of my favourite series.

Fringe

Another project by JJ Abrams and another wow. I really enjoyed the series premiere. Joshua Jackson is just great in his part as are all the others. Sometimes during the episode it reminded me of X-Files, and others it showed that it has JJ Abrams behind it, cos its quite mysterious just like LOST. I think so far it is the best series premiere I watched.

TrueBlood, Gossip Girl & Prison Break by kawadge

We have just started the second week of TV Series for season 08/09. Some are premiering whilst others are showing their second episode. Today I watched True Blood, Gossip Girl and Prison Break.

TrueBlood

From when I saw the trailer I immediately liked this show, and after the first episode I realised that it is completely my type. I always like HBO series because they are so "realistic" in language and stuff, and this one has everything. If you like Vampires and like extreme language and scenes and this is for you.

Gossip Girl

Another solid episode from Gossip Girl. This season looks to continue on the good stuff by the first one and I am really enjoying it. The more time passes by, the more I like Chuck. His malicious ways are very interesting, and you really give credit to the guy for what he does.

Prison Break

After watching this third episode (they did two last week), I am more convinced than ever that Prison Break is now back on track after the so-and-so third season. Things are complicated, but it is when things are complicated that Michael and the gang are at their best. Prison Break should be one of the best of this season.

90210 & Babylon AD by kawadge

With the season of premiere's in full blast in the last couple of days I watched the first 2 episodes of 90210. Also yesterday I went to watch Babylon AD.

90210

I really enjoyed 90210. From the start when you hear the old Beverly Hills soundtrack to the re-appreance of Brenda, Kelly and Ned you know you are watchiong one of the golden from when I was younger. Then you have Silver and Hannah whom we last saw were young kids and now are in High School. Add that to the new cast and you definitely have a hit. I think the premiere was quite good and I will definitely continue watching it.

Babylon AD

This movie was very strange. I didn't know what to expect when I went to watch it, but I came out of it more confused than before entering. The movie is strange to say the least. I don't really recommend it much.

Gossip Gril & Sons of Anarchy by kawadge

As this is the month of season and series premiere's I managed to catch two today. I watched the second season premiere of Gossip Girl and the series premiere of Sons of Anarchy.

Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl continued just like season 1. I really enjoyed this episode because a lot of things have been brought together. I don't want to spoil much, thus if you want to see my comments on the episode, please check my review on it. But I must say that it looks like it will be another strong season for Gossip Girl.

Sons of Anarchy

Sons of Anarchy is the first new series that I tried out, and I must say that I was really impressed with it. It is based on a group of bikers, but it also has some family drama in it. The acting was just great, and it looks like it will slowly become of one of my favourite series around.

Prison Break & Get Smart by kawadge

Finally the season of new and returning TV Series is here. Today I managed to watch the double season premiere of Prison Break. Also I went to the cinema and watched Get Smart.

Prison Break

The start of Prison Break couldn't have been better. It was very high paced and seems to have returned to the action of Seasons 1 and 2. Season 3 was a bit less but now it looks as if it is back in full blast. I really enjoyed how the story is panning out and it should be a very interesting season.

Get Smart

Get Smart is a very funny movie with some good actors in it like Anne Hathaway, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Steve Carrell. There were points in the movie that it got a bit boring and I started falling asleep but the majority of the movie it was full of laughs. I give it a 3/5.

Italian Football - Serie A by kawadge

Hi guys and girls,

Finally the Italian Football Season 2008/2009 is here with us. After months of transfer rumours and other stuff yesterday started the official season with Inter defeating Roma on penalties to get the Supercup.

From next weekend we will have the start of the league. Just like last year here at TV.com we will do the Prediction Thread which can be found at http://www.tv.com/italia-seria-a/show/75480/prediction-thread---08-09/topic/90756-1133486/msgs.html?tag=board_topics;title;0 .

Therefore I would like to invite all of you that like football to participate in the Prediction thread, and if you have friends on TV.com who like football to invite them as well.

Back from Corfu - Part 2 by kawadge

This is the second part of my holiday to Corfu.

Day 5 – Monday

Monday was one of the highlights of the holiday. In the morning we went to the North of Corfu. First we went to the Kum Quat distillery where we tasted some local liquers and wines. Then we went sightseeing at Paleokastritsa, were we grabbed a boat and went to some caves. Following that we went to Bella Vista for some amazing photos. Then we went to Kassiopi, a beautiful fish village where we had great lunch. In the evening we went to a Greek Folklore Night. We had some great entertainment including the Greek Zorba dance and the plates smashing. And to make things better we had unlimited free wine with the meal.

Day 6 – Tuesday

In the morning we went to a BBQ Boat Trip. It was nice, but the water was extremely cold. At one point I couldn't even feel my feet whilst we were in the sea. On our way back we stopped at a hypermarket were we did some more shopping. In the evening after dinner we went for some cocktails at a bar near the hotel.

Day 7 – Wednesday

Wednesday was our last day. We hired a quad bike and went for ride. The roads in Corfu are difficult to drive to, but we really had fun with the quad. Then after lunch we went for some more shopping. We then had one last good meal, before heading to the airport and back to

All in all it was a really amazing holiday and I really had a good time there. The food was simply great whilst the weather was really good.

Back from Corfu - Part 1 by kawadge

Hi guys and girls yesterday I got back from Corfu. I must say that it was simply amazing. I really enjoyed it and had loads of fun there. This blog is a bit long but I will tell you the story of my 7 days in Corfu

Day 1 - Thursday

We spent the majority of the day at Aqua Land, a really nice water park. We really enjoyed it there and had loads of fun. We did some slides, although I only did the easy ones since I am afraid of heights. It was a really nice day. Then in the evening we went for dinner we went to Kavos for a drink, or two or three … We were really tired for Kavos though after a day in the sun.

Day 2 - Friday

We spent the second day of our vacation relaxed on the beach. We had a beach in front of the hotel and thus it was easy for us to go there and stay relax. And afterall some tan never harmed anyone In the evening we went for dinner and afterwards we went for a walk nearby.

Day 3 - Saturday

In the morning we went to the capital city, Corfu Town. There we did some shopping and took some photos. Afterwards we went to watch the Arsenal match at a Pub we found near the hotel. In the evening we went for dinner and afterwards we found a small bar near the restaurant and went for a drink there.

Day 4 – Sunday

In the morning we went swimming at the beach near the hotel. Then we went to grab lunch and afterwards went to the Pub watching the Chelsea and Man Utd's matches. In the evening after dinner we decided to take it relaxing.
