    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

It stars the beautiful Christina Milian - who is a myspace friend and one of my favourite singers.

She does an excellent job in the role of the young woman who is the only one of her family who loves Christmas.

While in a shop looking a snowglobes she gets trapped in the little world inside the globe where it is Christmas every day.

At first that seems ideal and she gets to celebrate like she as she wanted to....but just imagine trying to maintain all that over the top holiday attitude all the time.

ugh -- eventually she has to get back.

by the way - of course there is a cute guy too.

what is a good show without a love interest.

And when she returns - there is a nice Christmas AND

she opens = a Snow Globe store.

Hokey but fun - this is what movies are supposed to be like - you watch for what you wish could happen NOT for what think will happen.

    The Bottom Line: "Great"

So far this season, I just haven't been really... blown away with laughter and enjoyment from this series. Last week's Halloween special was ok, but I still didn't get that episode I've been looking for! Finally, it has arrived!

Homer and Marge take Lisa, Bart, and Maggie on a vacation in which they remember two memories from their past that collide together with their future near the end. It shows what they were like when they were teenagers and what happened to them on a trip away from their kids.

The idea was good and was pretty interesting. It had some clever jokes and the story for the episode was pretty neat. Whenever they do a flashback episode, I'm always interested in hearing some from their past. The biggest let down for me was that there was no really subplot for Bart and Lisa, despite the fact that there was said to be one! It annoyed me a lot.

For a good episode, not the best one ever, but at least it gives me a good feeling for the future of the season. If the writers can improve from this point, I sense we can have a good season.

    The Bottom Line: "Good"

Last year's Treehouse of Horror was great, some great parodies and a good original segement. This year, however, the episode felt a little... sad. It just wasn't as good as last year's was.

The opening has Homer Simpson voting for the president. He picks Obama, but the machine states he voted for McCain. After trying to fix the machine, it eats him and then spits him out. For an opening, it was pretty good.

The 1st part was a ripoff of Transformers the movie. There were plenty of laughs in this one and provides us with a great Homer one liner. Though, no one really got killed in this episode which was kind of a disppointment.

The 2nd part was the weakest the episode. Homer kils Krusty by accident (The way Krusty died has to be the goriest kill in Treehouse history) and he actually gets money for it from adverstiment agencies. The idea was interesting, but the whole segement was just... stupid.

The last part was the clear winner and the funniest of the bunch. The episode rips off the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and it does it well. Milhouse believes in the Great... Grand (Almost had a trademark issue there!) Pumpkin and brings it to life. After discovering that people are killing pumpkins every year, the Grand Pumpkin goes on a rampage and starts eating people. It was pretty funny.

The overall episode was ok, not the best. The saddest part for me was that Kang and Kodos (A tradition of Treehouse series) never said a single word in the episode. They only briefly appeared in the end segement dancing and that was it. Oh well, there is always next year for something even better!

    Thankfulness

Woah, woah, woah, woah... woah! Before I even start, when was the last time I made a blog here? Over 2 years ago!? Holy snap, that's a long time! Wipe away those tears my dear Arcticoholics, your favorite frigid ninja has finally temporarily returned and has decided to make a blog to let you all know how thankful I felt this past Thanksgiving compared to the one I had last year.

Things I was thankful for this Thanksgiving:
    1. Not having to shower with other guys.
    2. Not having to sleep in a bed that is so hard that it feels like I'm actually sleeping on the floor.
    3. Being able to watch anime.
    4. Being able to play video games.
    5. Being able to use a computer.
    6. Being able to sleep whenever I want, where ever I want, and as long as I want.
    7. Being able to watch what I want on TV.
    8. Not having to be around a bunch of sick people.
    9. Not being sick.
    10. Pie. I had pie, and it was good! No, not that kind of pie, you pervert!
    11. BEING... A CIVILIAN!!! *gasp* Never Again Volunteer Yourself. (I hope the wrong person doesn't see this... there aren't any Petty Officers on this site, right?)

Things I was not thankful for this Thanksgiving:
    1. There was no macaroni & cheese to eat. This was my 1st Thanksgiving without m&c.
    2. Being alone. This was the 1st Thanksgiving I spent all by myself.
    3. Forgetting to watch TNA.
    4. Not having the money I had last Thanksgiving. It disappeared so quickly.

Things I was thankful for Thanksgiving of 2007:
    1. Not being in the hospital. I was very close to having to spend this Thanksgiving hospitalized. I managed to get out just in time. Can you imagine having to eat hospital food for Thanksgiving? That's a creepy thought.

Things I was not thankful for Thanksgiving of 2007: You know what? I'm not even going to bother with this one. The list is so ridiculously long.

Well, this concludes this special edition blog of ArcticNinja21. If you want to see more of my blogs, checkout my livejournal.
