MY REVIEWS

  • show: Pushing Daisies

    episode: Oh Oh Oh...It's Magic

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

This episode was probably the most insightful of all the episodes yet. It revealed a past to Neds father and Charles Charles. We finally see why it Dixon is in town. Dixon isnt looking to be anyones friend, it hasnt quite been revealed why he all of sudden wants to rob his best friends from battle. I loveed the ending, so magical and emotional. Dixon will figure out the secret of Chuck. This show gets better and better.

Lee Pace shows once again he is a powerhouse tv actorm he plays emotion very well and makes quirky seem awesome. Great job

  • show: Pushing Daisies

    episode: Bzzzzzzz!

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

Pushing Daisies got me hooked last year, starting with Pie-lette and concluding with Corpsicle, there wasnt an episode that didnt make me laugh make me think or just make me all warm and fuzzy inside. When it was shortened due to the strike, I couldnt wait for it to come back, at the time I was still hoping that it would come back. When they announced that it had been renewed for an entire second season I was so excited. My fave of all faves was coming back, I would have something to look forward to this fall. Then I heard it was nominated for 12 emmys, more than both Greys Anatomy and Ugly Betty. That is quite the accomplishment for a show that only had 9 episodes and already has a strong fan base. Then they announced that the date it was returning and the day the first season was coming out on DVD. I got it, watched a couple of episodes over the past weekend. Then last night I was excited when the clock hit 9 I was sitting in my chair waiting. The show started and immediatley I liked it, it was amazing, the actors, the scenes, the colors, the way it all fit, the love, the hope, the people, their porblems, their gifts. It all fits it all adds up to many possibilties. Emmerson and his daughter, Ned and his father. Chuck trying to cope with death and being reborn again so to speak. Lily trying to keep Olive from spilling the beans about her being Chucks mother. Vivian just trying to have a life, because that is what Chuck would want. This show is perfect, its like a dream, a fantasy that comes true once a week. This show will continue to grow and people will fall in love with it over this coming season.

  • show: The Cleaner

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

William Banks tries to help, he does the best he can to stop drug abuse. He tries to show people a better life. A life without addiction, a good life, a better one then the one they are leading.

Benjamin Bratt stars as William Banks and I muse say it is one of the greatest developped characters. That may be heavily influenced by the fact that William Banks is a real man who did real things. Ben does an amazing job, it is a show I tune into see every week because it is a show full of deep emotions that you dont see in your glammed up rich kid tv show.It is different, it deals with mature content, it really is worth the hour every week. It can serve as a lesson to all who have ever done drugs. They can mess you up to the point of no return. It can serve as a reminder to some people to never stray from the path they lead. It can serve as wakening to those who feel they have it rough. There is always worse. The Cleaner offers something for everyone. It is worth watching week in and week out and I hope it can gain more of a fan base. Do not pass this up.

  • show: Pushing Daisies

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

Pushing Daisies is smart and original. Great fun to watch with amazing special affects and great storylines. Set in an alternate city that could easily resemble one that we live we start to develop a sense of how it could be our home.

Lee Pace plays Ned the piemaker. Pace is fantastic playing Ned who knows he is basically an outcast of society but he still feels all that Everyone else feels. Pace does a great job exploiting Neds differences making it almost come off as cool that Ned is capable of doing this.

The only catch in Neds whole Plan is that he can touch Chuck or she has to go back to being Dead. So much for a happy ending? Can ned and Chuck find a way to stay happy or will it go downhill from here. watch to find out

  • person: Bradford Anderson

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

Bradford is unique, funny and balzing with humour. Evertime he comes on screen the show is enlightened. Bradford is different from the resty of the cast in a way that many will see as odd but i see it as brilliant. Spinelli is funny, charming and a good freind qualities in which Bradford can get across to the audeince each and every day. Bradford is one of my fave actors and it would be cool to see this bright young star make a transistion from tv to movies while keeping his job as Spinelli for many years to come to help make everyone laugh
