Taking a break. by kcwsk8

Im taking a break from Gamespot. I am not leaving, but I need some time off. So I will leave my union to someone, and be gone for a while. Of course I will come on here, but only for gaming related stuff, check my profile/blog(s), and read some friends blogs if I feel like it. I will continue taking part in community events too. The main reason for this is there are alot of holdays at this time of year, I own a console that good games come out to (PS3), and some more stuff starting at the beginning of 2009. By the way I am in the Home Beta, and I bought Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. They rock, though Home not as much as I expected so far.

I will see yall later, and no I am not leaving. (Leave me a PM if you want, I will reply.)

Sell Wii, Improve PS3 by kcwsk8

Ok. Thank you to everyone who commented in my last blog. I think I am going to hold off on getting a 360 (pro) and sell the Wii still. I will use the money from my Wii to get some new PS3 games. Sony seams like they are going to have a very good year, and there are already tons of games out there I want, so Im going to sell the Wii and improve my PS3 game library.

Ok. We have to face it. Wii is not doing as great as it should. Its present and future looks bad, but 360's past, present and future look promising. Right now my Wii is sitting on my dressor collecting dust, literally. Should I sell my Wii and all its stuff to get an Xbox 360 Arcade, and a couple 360 and PS3 games? The only thing Im worried about is memory. If I get an Arcde will it have enough memory to last me a little while? I mean will I be able to install NXE and play Gears of War and still have memory, or what? I know it would be better getting a Pro, but money wise it would be better if I got an Arcade. So tell me what you think please. This is a life changing dicission. Should I sell the Wii and get a 360 Arcade?

What are your oppenions on this? It is an idea for a review emblem I came up with (not a profile emblem). I dont have a design for it yet. Tell me what you think, and if its good I may recommmend it to Gamespot.

Politics! Pure Politics!

Games with this emblem have seen too much of politics. We were told so much great things about� this game, yet when it was released we never got them. This game is missing out on what all was promised to us. So yes. This game should become a politician.

Ok, so I was bored and wanted to talk about movies. I looked and all the good movie unions are dead. So I figure I will make my own. So I found an officer (Yagr_Zero), and someone to be temporary officer (oni-link). So Oni-link made a sweet banner, I uploaded it, and now he is making other designs. I set up all the union stuff, made an Introduce Yourself topic, and sent invites to all my friends. So if you didnt get an invite and you are interested, do join. You can check it out to see everything for yourself. It seems like it will be good. And now here I am telling everyone about it so you will consider joining. I plan on leading this union for a while while I take a break from ULC. Siberian has everything handled. So everything is pretty sweet right now.

Also this is off-topic but I was at Target the other day and they had Warhawk bundled with a blue-tooth priced wrong. It was only $30.00 instead of $50.00. The game itself is what is supposed to be $30, the blue-tooth bundle is $50. Haha. Too bad I didnt have the money to get it.

Today is my birthday. Yep. Another year older. Im going to the Renaissance Festival to day. Plus I hope I can get out of dept for the PS3 with the money I get for gifts. And finaly get some new games. There are so many I dont know where to start. Should I get another greatest hits game for halp the price of a new one, or wait and get a new game like Need for Speed Undercover or Call of Duty World at War? I will have to think. Anyone wishing to throw some cash in the hat, please do. Also next year I plan to have a big party on here. I have an idea of how it will happen, but not sure yet. Oh wel, think of that later. I gotta go get ready to go to the Festival. They have good bread bowls that are filled with soup! Yum.

The Council of Unions. Could this be the future for ULC. Could we see a union open to everyone, about unions in general? This more general theme i hope will provide a wider variety of discussion, promote unions even more, get ULC more activity and members, and possibly get Gamespot to see how we feel about unions. After all. They made a union about emblems, why cant they make a union about unions? If we can base the idea, and mold it into this concept, we could improve in many places. So leave me your thoughts and ideas about COU here or in this thread (which provides more discussion of this matter). Thanks for you support and oppenions.

P.S. Yes Siberian142 is leader at the moment. Im only on vacation. Plus there are some events which could come in the near future which will cause me to spend far less time on Gamespot for a while. So I took a vacation. Everyone needs one sometime or another right?

I got into the Resistance 2 Beta. It is downloading now. I will update with how it is so be sure to check back. I hope maybe I can play against some of the Gamespot staff during the marathon, if they are playing online that is. This is so cool. I have great luch winning beta keys.

This is like the best place ever. It is a game called MagiQuest. You pick a wand, then enter this huge room. The whole room is computerized, so everything in it does something when you flick you wand at it. You fight dragons, save people, duel others, all kind of fun things. You have to go if you ever find one. I went while I was at the beach last week. I have been other times so this wasnt my first. This is just the first I have made a blog about it. Computer is fix... kinda. by kcwsk8

Well I got the computer back from the repair shop. It is fixed but a couple things arnt right. First GIMP, iTunes, MSN, those are on here but they arnt opening. Its confusing to say and im not sure why they wont work. They are only a few of the many things not opening. I think Im going to have to download everything again. The promlem with the computer was we had a power surge and our surge protector didnt work. It got fried. So the computer repair people fixed that but then told us our hard-drive was about to crash. So we had to get that fixed. Then after that they found something else wrong. And during finding all this they add told us it was very dusty in our computer. So all those things are fixed but Im going to have to redownload stuff and all that. So dont expect me around much. Activity will be very small if any at all. Sorry for all the blogs I missed.

Also im picking categorys for my blogs now.

In game related stuff PSP just had its best update ever. It now has PSN!
