OMG!!!! YF was freaking amazing!!!! But I had to pay the price for it. So at the start, when Dean is running from the "Hell Hound", I was all into it, I kept leaning forward on the foot edge of my bed (it is lifted off the floor by like 3 feet, important info). When Dean runs into the homeless guy at the dumpster I am barely even on the bed anymore, then they show the Yorkie thing,
ROFL!!!. *Laughing soooooo hard I literally fall off the bed*
What happened exactly was: As I was laughing really hard I leaned back, went to put my hand on the mattress to catch myself, BUT, missed it totally and went half backwards half sideways off the bed - *AAAHHHHH* I landed on my right elbow followed by the right hip. So now I've got an egg sized bruse on my elbow and one the size of a softball on my hip
. But it was worth it... So once it went to commercial I went and grabbed an Icepack and sat with it for the rest of the ep
Yes, I am that much of a clutz some of the time.
Sooooooo happy the roommate wasn't there, didn't want to have to explain that one to her LOL.
Then later, when Dean freaks over the cat, I had to grab the end of the bed to make sure I didn't fall again, Laughing hard at that part too.
Loved the thing at the end with Jensen too
You know the guys must have loved making this ep. They didn't have to be all serious all the time, no heavy plot with Cas and the Hell related stuff. Jensen must have been a kid in a candy shop.

My lovely FinAid people MESSED my stuff up AGAIN... But once fixed made me very
Basically over Summer Quarter (last quarter ) I was supposed to get my WA State Needs Grant Check - FinAid I get because I'm a Washington State resident in college, I don't have to pay back. But they told me it wasn't added into my FinAid plan when I filled out my paperwork in Feb, so I didn't get it that quarter - it sucked, but I still had some left over from the previous quarter. When I asked why I didn't get it they couldn't give me an answer. But told me I'd get one at the beginning of THIS quarter. So on the first week I went down to the Accounting office, asked when the checks would be in, the lady said the checks would be there week 3.
On Monday of Week 3 I go back and ask if the checks were in, the lady looked up my info: "You aren't getting a Grant check this quarter", WTF!!! I ask her what was gong on, I was supposed to get one before and didn't get one, and was told this quarter..... Anyway, she sends me to go talk to one of the FinAid advisers - I sat in the office for over an HOUR before I was seen. Then when I went in the guy I talked to said that the checks WERE in my plan, but for some reason they were on "Holding status", he first suspected that maybe I filled out my FinAid Paperwork too late, but no, I filled it out EARLY (as usual) so he kept looking and looking but couldn't find any reason why I didn't get my checks. He tells me I had to talk to another guy, one who would be in the office at 7:30am the next morning, arg.
So I get up early, on the one day a week I get to sleep in. Walk down to the school, I met with the guy I had to talk to, thankfully he is the dude that is incharge of doing the checks
so he could get me my answers. He does some stuff on the computer, looks in my files, the whole nine yards. And can't find why I never got the checks. He put in the request for them. And I will be getting my money at some point this coming week
- So now I can buy the books I need, the computer stuff I need, FOOD!!!, and have enough left over that I can put some in savings - just incase I don't get the next check - and I can buy an $80 MP3 player (my first) and buy my mom some CSI:Miami DVDs for Christmas

I went and saw SAW 5 on Friday, duh, right
And once again I had to go to the crapy other theatr because the good one wasn't showing it

I got to see the previews for both Friday the 13th, and My Bloody Valentine
( had seen the crappy version of 13th that was on the net someone posted from their camera a few days before )
They look like they are going to be really really good movies. Was a bit not happy that JP WASN'T in the F13th ad
, no audio, not even 1 frame of his cute little face. JA was in exactly 3 quick shots in his, with like 2 words spoken - he was all dirty and hot looking (think Wendigo in the cave scenes when he's all baddass )- ok, Fangirl moment - not sure if I'm likeing the 3D aspect of it though, as the ad made it look kind of cheeZy. Gonna see them both when they come out...
Okay, back to Saw 5...
It was good, not great, but good. The thing with the pen in the throat was cool
. Once again they left it open for another movie - there were rumors a few months back that 5 and 6 would be filmed back to back, but the ads for this one had one that quoted "The last" so I'm not sure how things are going on that line.
Anyway, there were more jumps back to the other movies, how events were put into play between Jigsaw and Hoffman through the run of the 4 other movies, no use of Amanda in this movie (save for 1 clip from Saw 3). The question about what happened to the little girl in 3 was answered.
The Main trap - string of smaller traps - was a bit of a let down. Well, until the last one, with the table saws
seeing the dude's arm split in 2 - the long way - was cool
And the end with the "press room", and the blood dripping onto the box, also cool. Yes, I'm a sick sick person
I'd be willing to go along with Hoffman being the new Jigsaw for atleast Saw 6, as long as they can keep it as interesting as it was when John was Js. If it is good then they can keep the movies coming, but if not than 6 should end it.

As many people know here in the US all the TV signals are switching over to digital, so we have to either get cable or buy a DTV box, somthing I've been less than happy about - well, until this past Friday, that is.
I had gotten two of the $40 dollar rebate things and the expiration date was comeing up on the 28th, so I figured I'd go get the 2 boxes. I did. Well when I got home I took one out, set it up, and it DIDN'T work
so I call the 800 number - the stupid book that comes with the box didn't say the TV had to be on ch3 - so as a very tech savy person I felt like an idiot calling to get told to change the thing.
Anyway, I got it working, and the one for the computer running. Now, I've got 14 channs
twice as many as I had with the regular antena. AND the best freaking part is.... Crystal clear picture!!!!!! Now I can watch Supernatural and actually SEE it
. Dang, do I wish I'd have known this on Thursday, so I could have seen YF with a good picture
. I keep messing the boxes up though
I've got both of them rather close to each other - thanks to lack of space in the room - and when I hit the power for one it either turns on or off the other, same when changing channs, so I have to get up and push the ch buttons on the box I want, rather than using the remotes
think that is a bit backwards to the way it should be
But like always there IS A DOWNSIDE. Now when it comes to recording shows when I'm not home - as of Feb 17th I won't be able to. The boxes don't let you set them to change to a program when you are gone. The TV stays on ch3, and you change the channels on the box, so the set recording times on the TV are void
. So now I may have to look into buying DVRs.
Anyone know if DVRs work without having cable???

The guys in 514 ( upstairs ) must think that this school is a Performing Arts School, rather than a Commercial Arts School, with as much and as loud as they play their electric guitars at ALL hours of the day AND NIGHT. For weeks now they have been driving me up the freaking walls. Some nights they start at 7pm and go up until after 3am. AND THEY SUCK, so I get why they need all the practice, but I'm sorry, I may not know how to play a guitar, but I do know there are more that 3 dang cords. They just keep playing the same ones over and over and over and over and over....... again!!!! as loud as they can. I mean come on, If I can hear it over my headphones, with my TV turned up as loud as I can take it, then their amps are up WAY too much. So last Saturday I called the RA pager, told her what was going on, asked if SHE should go tell them to quiet down - it's her freaking job. Oh no, she tells me I needed to go do it, as they wanted everyone in the building to start meeting their neighbors, I told her the last time I went and told someone (downstairs) to keep the noise down the guy told me he'd kick my a**, her response to it was, "Well, if he threatens you then call me and let me know what he said" - The whole time I'm thinking, "Yeah, if he kicks my a** for telling him to be quiet, what's the point of calling you?"
After she kept refusing to go deal with it I went both downstairs and up (at the time I din't know for sure what apt it was ) then when I got to 514 I could tell it was coming from their room. I stood there for 10MIN pounding on the door, they never answered, but finally turned it down some, not enough, but some.
For a couple of days it was less loud, still anoying, but not as bad. But then as I suspected, they decided they would turn it up AGAIN. This time it was 10PM - after building "Quiet Hours" for sure (even though the Director of Housing said that quiet hours are ALL housr, but the RA's don't have to enforce until 10 ) So, I so back up to the apartment, knock on the door a couple of times - this time they turned it UP, BAD FREAKING IDEA. I go down to the RA office, and demand that this one (different girl ) goes talk to the guys. I tell her I had to put up with enough crap last quarter from the guys down below me and I just ain't doing it anymore.
She goes up to the apartment. While I'm in my apartment standing on the kitchen Table trying to listen to what she is going to tell them. I can hear her walking down the hall. I hear her knock, nicely, on the door. No answer. She knocks again, no answer. She knocks harder, no answer but the amps get louder. She knocks on the door harder, but still nice. This goes on back and forth for about 5 min, now the amps are up rather loud, even hard for me to stay up on the table with as loud as they are. Then she starts to just pound the crap out of the door, hard enough that the jars on the counter started to rattle. She just kept pounding and pounding until finally I could hear someone walk over to the door. Within a few seconds SILENCE
They have been really quiet the last few days, I could hear them just a little little bit the other night, nothing that would have bothered me.

I'll have to have a talk with the roommate
, knew it would happen sooner or later. She had been fine up until this past Wens. Now she keeps her TV louder then she had been, and thanks to the thin wall between our rooms it does nothing but echo in my room - well past midnight. And the last few nights she has been leaving the TV on ALL NIGHT, while she sleeps. She don't turn if off until after 6am. NOT going to put up with that.

Then, lastnight, the people in 415 decided to crank the music in their apartment at MIDNIGHT, directly on the other side of the wall next to my bed

I just can't freaking win with these people. I'm soooooooo glad I graduate in like 2 more quarters (I think) then I'll be done with these immature brats that think they are there to party, rather than study. I'm not paying $100,000+ to party, I'm paying it to get my education...
