MY REVIEWS

  • show: Lost

episode: There's No Place Like Home (1)

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

I like Frank Lapidus I think he is one of the good guys still not sure about Miles and Charlotte though. The episode before he dropped the phone so they could find the chopper and he helped them again in this episode.

I'm not so sure about the moving the island, it seems like maybe it will be a bit odd even for this show, but they do a great job of explaining things that might cause some people to question the show. I think they have at least.

They showed the Oceanic 6 when they came home, and how they were lying to protect the people still on the island, which will be explained more in the season finale as well. I figured they wouldn't show the homecoming moment until the last season I was pretty surprised. They seemed to wrap alot of things up lately, and I hope they leave some suspense for the last 2 seasons, I'm sure they will, and I'm sure there is plenty more things that will happen and that will be explained. I figured when they showed Jack & Kate that it was before the first flash foward when they were in the airport and it seems like it was they were together and split for some reason maybe? I think they touched on it in the season finale but I think there is more too it. They mentioned how Claire & Jack's Dad was still on the island and we don't know were they are yet. They mentoned earlier how they had the same Dad but didn't know it, I think Jack found out after he got off of the island. It was funny Claire's Mom was talking about how ironic it was her daughter was on the flight yet she didn't know that Aaron is her grandson. Ben & Locke are going to the Orchid and are trying to devise a plan to get in and to leave the island , they will run into a few people from the group later on who will make the trek with them and I will talk about that in the blog about the 1st part of the season finale.

    episode: Judgment Day (2)

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

I loved the middle end but wished they would have left it at that, there could have been a bigger cliff hanger with the director than with the one that they gave us. I loved this episiode, maybe the best episode of this show ever in my opinon. The whole thing with the director was amazing or that Mike was helping her and how it all unraveled was writter really well in my opinon. I wrote a review for last weeks episode of what I thought should happen and some of it actually did. I thought the Director should go which when she said she was sick I thought they would slowly kill her off or just have her on as a guest star I fell for that twist in the plot. I really wanted Gibbs to be the director but to be more active with the team that Director Sheppard was, and then have Di Nozo take over Gibb's job, doesn't look like that is the case. I don't think the split will go through otherwise if it does and they get a whole crop of new characters I think the should would be doomed. This still was a great episode and was well written.

    episode: Judgment Day (1)

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

This was a really cool episode the whole thing with the car was kind of funny and those two on the road trip. It seems like they should just get together and get it over with. It had even more action, comedy and wit than usual and that's saying alot. There were a couple of episodes this season that were a little below standard for the series, but this episode was amazing as was the one that followed. We also see Mike who trained Gibb's again makes an appearance on the show. It kind of is a setup to the last hour but it seems like it could have almost been just the finale itself.

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

I like Joel as the host even though he doesn't beat Aisha Tyler, because well look at her I mean she was hot and funny, and he is a dude. This guy is hilarious and is very with the skits and humor making fun of all the celebrities and everybody else who needs to be knocked down a peg. It's not just that he sometimes manages to get people on his show that he makes fun of alot like Teila Tequila, she was a good sport about it. I think he shows that these aren't mean spirited jokes but they are out of fun, alot of comedians you can tell use jokes as mean spirited propaganda and are basically used to force opinons on people, but Joel isn't like that. I think the show is well written and the stage hands or whoever it is that goes or there and has to make fools of themselves really add to the show and those guys should get a raise.

    The Bottom Line: "Abysmal"

I'm not sure how knowledgable they are at sports but if they are it looks like the jokes are trying to hide a lack of knowledge about sports. This is just one more things howing how ESPN may be slipping a little bit. People must be entertained easy to find these guys the slightest bit funny it's like Mystery Science Theatre 3000 except MST3K was actually funny. I think they should just stick to sports if they have sports knowledge or do something else while they ride out their 15 minutes of fame. Sorry to be so harsh but they are just horrible.
