    The Bottom Line: "Mediocre"

The good: Qualiy Animation hits the spot, Music isn't very cheesy
The bad: Lacks humor and a plot, the name of the show doesn't make sense, since the show is rarely seen in the gym.

    Plot: 4/10
    Animation: 7/10
    Sound: 7/10
    Humor: 5/10
Why don't you (insert word) and be somebobdy: 5/10
    Average Score: 5.6/10

Cartoon Network has really gone downhill since 2004. Great shows such as Camp Lazlo, Foster's, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and Ed Edd N' Eddy are gone or nearly gone. The only two shows that really keep CN alive are Chowder and The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. Not this show. Had My Gym Partner's a Monkey been filled with better humor and plot, it would be worth watching.

The show is basically about a 12 year old boy who went to Chester Arthur Middle School, but was transferred to Charles Darwin Middle School (a animal school), becuase his last name (lyon) was spelled as Lion, therefore giving him free will of being transferred there. Then, the misadventures begin. He meets and befriends a spidermonkey named Jake, who is obsessed with his butt and wears his green hat backwards.

I have some positives about the show, like the animation. It isn't sloppy, but not great. The music is also swell, and the voice acting isn't lacking either. However, the humor isn't that good, and Jake's butt thing gets old fast. And many times, the animals say stuff that begin to be obvious to the viewer, such as That darn Platypus, when Jake flashes the camera in Principal Pixiefrog and Mrs. Warthog's faces, they say "we're blind! we're blind! we're blind! we're blind". That's more obvious than it is funny.

Overall, don't watch this show if you want first class plot or humor. You're better off watching episodes of Camp Lazlo or Foster's than this if they're still around. MGPAM wasn't really cut to be a CN show in the first place.

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

I loved this episode. It rocked!!

    Double Header

In Double Header, Ren says he doesn't like Stimpy any more (which is the only flaw in this, but because of how funny it was acted, I'll let it go), and while he is yelling at him, they accidentally get run over by a bus, and they are medically sewn together at a discount hospital. When Ren's boss sees this, he gets fired, and so he and Stimpy get sent to a freak circus, where Ren goes insane. Then, they are hit by something and the episode ends with Ren sewn to Stimpy's butt. Stimpy gets his favorite meal, beans, much to the dismay of Ren, and the episode ends with Stimpy farting on a uncomfertably feeling Ren. Probably the best ending of season 4.

    10/10

    Scotsman in Space

The Haggis guy is with Ren and Stimpy in the John K classic sequel. I loved when Stimpy was trying to imitate Haggis, and this was a very funny episode.

    10/10

    Final score: 10/10

This is definitly the best episode of season 4, and I suggest you see it now on youtube (at least Double Header).

    The Bottom Line: "Good"

I really think this episode was very pointless. Find out why.

    Picture Day

Picture Day was the worst of the episodes. I liked the peanut butter taco scene, however, it was hilarious. Spongebob was trying to get to a boating school to get his picture taken; without getting dirty. At the end, he is crying, and when he is clean, he's still crying. Why? I have no idea. He stops crying when he sees his picture. Really stupid, and whatever.

    5.5/10

    Pat No Pay

Blackjack and Picture day weren't very good, but Pat No Pay made this episode a delightful one. Pat must pay Mr. Krabs for his food by getting many jobs done. It was perfect, with many funny parts, like the trash scene. I loved the ending, when Patrick says "Can I eat Now?"

    10/10

    Blackjack

It was okay, but it was very confusing. Spongebob's cousin, blackjack, was recently released from jail, and Spongebob thinks he kidnapped his parents. The uncle captain Blue scene was hilarious. Finally, we see Blackjack is tinier than spongebob, what the heck? He was taller before in the flashbacks. Oh well, very confusing, but very funny.

    6.5/10

    Average score: 7.3/10

Watch Pat No Pay, and maybe Blackjack, but not Picture Day.

This Week in Gaming: December 1st - 7th

I've decided to really put some effort in trying to finish some games I have. So this week (and really for the rest of the year), I'm going to be playing a ton of games....baby daughter & wife allowing, of course.

So, if you're reading this blog and want to game, feel free to let me know

I'm still trying to finish the campaign in co-op. I plan try Horde Mode sometime this week though

For an old-skool Street Fighter II buff like myself, this game is a dream come true. Seriously, I probably spent too much time & money on this game in the 1990s in the arcades. Being able to play this game again, with completely redrawn graphics PLUS online play, is too awesome.

This is the first multiplatform game I bought for the PS3. Why? The superior D-Pad. No way am I spending $60+ for an Arcade Stick for the Xbox360.

I'm actually kinda embarassed I haven't finished GTA IV yet. I mean, I think the game is amazing, but I just got distracted and never put the effort into finishing the game.

I've been working on it piece-by-piece recently though. And damn it, I still haven't really tried out the online mulitplayer yet. Gonna have to do that this week too.

Well, that's it. Just those 3 games for this week. I really need to clear out my cache of games.

    Back to PS3 once more.

yes, its true. I am going back to my PS3 for my primary system for the next two months and will be only on xbox live on certain occassions. I am utterly bored of my 360 and fed up with it in a matter of speaking. So you know the how it goes. Now that im bored I just go to the other console. Also This is a very exciting time for PS3 as most games are coming out now with trophies and the more games that come the better they look every time on PS3. I am also upgrading my hard drive soon to a 400 gig hard drive witch is very easy and suprising very cheap. I can get a 400 gig hard drive for only 80 bucks for my PS3. Just simply amazing. I am also considering getting more accessories for it. Including Usb keyboard and Mouse. The PS3 is an amazing and most technological piece of home entertainment availabe as of right now. I just recieved as a gift from one of my good friends MK vs. DC universe. I must say it is absolutely amazing. The gameplay is so smooth and solid and the game offers much more then you would expect. I have played it 0n both console versions and finally a multi plat. game that is better on PS3 as it offers more a little more content and hell of a lot more blood then the 360 version. Not to mention the controls are some of the smoothest controls on ive ever played on a fighting game.

I hope you are all doing good and God Bless you.

    New TV!!

Hey guys, hope Thanksgiving was great for everyone else. Today after work the wife and I stopped in Best Buy "just to look around" or so she said and I ended up leaving with spanking new Sony Bravia apparantly it is my X-Mas gift, but that is just fine with me It is 46' and looks oh, so sweet in my set-up and its girth helps to block the plethora of wires my many systems has. Anyway not much to say beyond I started playing Gears 2 and I still don't necessarily like it as much as everyone says I should. Expect a full review in the next couple of week.

    Peace,
    T-Dub
