MY REVIEWS

  • show: Friends

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

Set in New York it ran from 1994 until 2004. It was a feel good show that never failed to raise a laugh - even on the blackest day. With never fail one liners and situations to blast away the gloomiest mood, it was centered around six friends who managed to squeeze in work around trips to the sacred "central perk" (brilliant ploy on central park).

The show spanned ten years of fun and laughter, tears and tragedy and believe it or not suspense with the end of season cliffhangers. It also spawned a new wave of "it" words and phrases including "could I BE wearing any more clothes" and of course the imfamous "we were on a break". The show's finale wrapped things up beautifully that even four years after its original showing, still has the ability to reduce me to tears. It's sorely missed by countless people and will always stay in people's hearts and minds

episode: The Case of the Cross-Dressing Carp

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

It was the episode that all GSR fans had been waiting eight long years for!!! I have to log it as one of my favourite CSI episodes from any season. The investigation was an absolute classic - a throw back to seasons one and two that certainly caused some head scratching as to who, what, how, why and when.

High praise to all actors and actresses for this episode, it was certainly worth the wait and all the hype.

Not to take anything away from any other character or the investigation but I certainly made a point of watching it to see the proposal. It had been a long time coming and it was done sublimely. Not to mushy - because that wouldn't have been in keeping with Grissom and Sara. It was sweet in the geeky way we've come to recognise and carry with affection.

A fantastic episode that deserves high praise to all of the writers, producers, actors and the director.
