Hiya peeps

I'm feeling rather reflective today. So I looked out the window and reflected. Then I wrote a poem about what I saw. (Not exactly what I saw outside my window. If a did it would be a poem about SHEEP!!)

So here goes. It deals with losing a loved one, war, poverty and racisim.

Hope

Across the whole world,
It's people cry an ocean;
An ocean full of grief and hurt;
The tears of the Broken.


They cry for their loved ones;
Some fallen victim to disease.
Their friend is close to leaving.
Their Hope started to slip away,
Like the ocean's gentle breeze.


An injured soldier lies dying,
Caught in the pointless conflict of war.
In the middle of the crossfire,
He cries out to God, "What are we fighting for?"
And as the medics arrive by his side,
He takes a laggard breath;
They try hopelessly to save him,
But he dies an afflictive death.


A young girl cries out in hunger.
She's alone in the inky dark,
She tries to feed her siblings,
But poverty has left it's mark.
She cries again for help.
No one hears her futile calls.
She gives up in despair;
Maybe hope can't heal all.


A beaten man lies in hospital,
His broken body thrashed blue.
As to why people would do this,
The injured man had a clue:
It was because of his appearance,
The colour of his skin.
But he valiantly got straight on his feet,
He wouldn't let them win.
So he went back into the world;
Devoid of any hate.
And if one of his afflicters were in need of help,
He would assist them without haste.


Perhaps we should take the example of the beaten man,
And help those in need.
Do wrong to none, and help all those who may need it.
Because from an act of kindness,
Springs up a tiny seed.
Let them not ask for help,
But pick them up if they slip on life's slope.
Because anything can happen,
If you never give up Hope.

Anyways, I thought I might do a little random thing:

Five facts you may not know about me:

1. I'm a big fan of sevendies music. From ELO to The Fortunes. ME LOVE IT!!

2. I'm an artist. I love drawing things, sketching is what I'm best at. I like to do water colour paintings too. If you'd like I'll post a pic of some of my drawings later

3. I've never had my ears pierced. My sister had a horrible experiance and it scarred me for life. I'm not exagerating either!!

4. Sometimes I get so lost in thought that I block out everything. If someone speaks to me, I can't even hear them!

5. I'm a huge video gamer. I save up and relentlessly and buy video games for multiple platforms I'm actually lusting after Super Smash Bros Brawl right now for the Wii.

Hi guys! The play was Coriolanus by Shakespeare. No one got it!

As you may already know, I started my job at the vets yesterday. I'm still at the farm though. I'll give you a rundown of my first day:

I started with a tour of the place, and I was shown how the computor system works. (Its so hard! :cry Then a customer came in and I was abandoned to deal with them by myself! Lucky though, they were looking for pup wormer and I knew how to get them the stuff. (Its strawberry flavoured apparantly. It looked really yummy. I was tempted to try it but decided against that! :lol So I went into the store and got some, give it to the guy and he paid. Woop!!

I then got sent to the cattery after serving some farmers and answering the phone a few times (which didn't go well, I screwed it up a twice) which I cleaned out. The cats were nice though. The another cat came in and I got the owner to fill out paperwork and me and my aunt settled it in.

A person called in because her dog had kennel cough. She appeared an hour later, after I had taken every bottle of animal drugs and cleaned all the shelves, then organising them all. I give her the tablets and she paid.

After a few hours of nothing but boredom, the vets' cat came to visit us. He's called Fuzz. (soo adorable)

Then a few more patients came in and that was that. Shift over!!

Now I'm so tired. I stayed at the farm and got up around seven, then we were at work all day. In the bucketing rain. oh well, it was fun. I'm dosing sheep tomorrow again though with my aunt and uncle.

I've been really busy working, and thats why I haven't been online.I've actually been living at the farm, working very hard with some stubborn sheep that wouldn't do as they're told. We're also selling lambs at the market and stuff. I also have a job at the vets to go to. So I'm completely worked out.

Also, some news on my new cousin. She got home yesterday!

I think I'll go now. I miss you guys!!

We love the same things, and we never fight. Your friendship means the world to me, and I don't know were I'd be if I didn't have that.

Lani: One of the first people I met on here. You're fun, and you're friendly, and love the fact that when I was new here, you made me feel welcome. And I love having random phone calls with you and Heather!!

Ellen: you're still a new friend to me, but one of my favourite people! You're witty, you're random, and you have excellent photoshop skills. (Which I hope you won't use against me!!) And most of all, you always make me laugh.

Kristen: You always make me laugh at your randomness! You are always joking, and they always cheer me up when life gets me down.

Lottie: You're awesome, and smart. And I loved our random phone call!! It's weird not having you around 'cause your moving away. We'll miss you while you're not around.

Charlotte: You're a new friend too, but we've been talking loads on MSN! You're such a nice person, and I wish you wern't going through all your problems at the minute. I hope things will get better soon.

In answer to Kris' question: Scott is a random guy in our clas-s. He seems to have something against New York, because every time he sees Heather he insults it. I could say more, but I don't want to be murdered!!!!
