    • Gala Concert

      Tonight is my schools Gala Concert (celebration of music). It's in a proper theater and we're the only school to do a concert of such large size annually in East Sussex. I'm in 5 of the items, and i'm fricking singing solo in one one of them to 500+ people! I've managed to work past the voice troubles for now. The song i'm singing is on a comfortable range anyway.     • My voice is breaking...

      ...And at an inconvinient time. I've been in various drama groups that involve singing for just under 2 years now. Well, I have a performance with my schools combined choir, and i'm starting rehersals for a theater production soon. It hasn't effected my speaking voice yet, but it is really effecting my singing voice. I can hit very few high notes, and very few low notes, so the logical thing to do would be to sing notes of an average pitch right? Bad news: I have extreme difficulty hitting ANY notes in the middle octave. It's weird because I never had a very good voice, but then a couple of years ago I started singing reall well. Now it's going, and when It finally stops breaking, it will be a while before I adjust to it. Read more »

      Ah yes, birthdays. A chance to celebrate your existence, meet up with your family, and eat cake. Games wise I got Quake on the N64, and I downloaded Gunstar Heroes for the Wii with some of my money. Read more »
