Yeah, fluffy fun. I thought Kim Raver, Brooke Shields and Lindsey um, forget her name, did a great job bringing these glitzy characters to life. Despite the Judith-Krantz fluff factor, every one of these women got to be, in spite of themselves, pretty darned real to me. How about the men? Nico's boy toy bored me. Nice to get a glimpse of Julian Sands, too bad Paul Blackthorne cannot seem to keep a shirt on, and who didn't know that Joe was going to buy Victory's company and also cheat on her? Did she get to keep her glammy closet full of yummies that he put together for her? I hope so. But seriously, for God's sake, enough with the Extemely Obvious Product Placement for Maybelline. That's obnoxious. But can I just say ... I did try the Shine Seduction Lip Plumping Gloss and it's divine!

Dan's brother Jack, wife Katie, and his long lost love, Livia, are all strongly played and integral to what looks to be a strong new addition to NBC.
I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned what a beautiful look this show has to it. The photography and settings are stunning. San Francisco is a character in the show. So refreshing not to have another show in New York or LA.
I was skeptical at first but the stories are really working for me.
Hope NBC does more with Journeyman than they did the equally great "The Black Donnellys" that they assasinated before its time last year.

Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Peter Stormare, Robert Knepper, Sarah Wayne Callies and the amazingly lifelike Stacey Keach gave us some incredible performances in Season 1. The trick will be seeing if Season 2 can keep up the tension and quality with the characters on the loose rather than in tight interaction. William Fichtner will do a great job as the FBI agent, I'm sure. Don't know how they're going to write around Patricia Wettig's absence (she's signed onto another show.) I think Season 2 will open up possibilities for Lincoln to strategize and lead, in contrast to Michael's brilliance and strategy in getting them out of prison.

The Fisher King, Part 1 *was* the Season Finale? I am now officially having a heart attack until September when the show returns. This was a brilliant episode, with multiple layers, strong, performances, great glances of the characters and lives of the team, good tension and an incredibly strong plot.
Criminal Minds really has taken hold of me because it provides much more to me in the way of storytelling than any of the L&O or CSI shows. The most phenomenal episode was the one where the woman was sentenced to death for killing her son and the team found out that....oh, I won't tell, I'd spoil it. That had me just shaking with sobs.
So, anyway, September? I have to wait until September for The Fisher King, Part 2? DAMN! Long hot summer!
