Intermission— It was 9:47 long and Pookie and I stayed in our seats the whole time... No wonder our butts hurt so bad!
Seasons of Love— Meh... I'm getting kind of sick of this song, but they did it very well anyways.
Happy New Year— SO much funnier watching than listening! I loved when Mark snuck through mo's legs and stuck the camera in a d11d0-like position... Oh, and Angel's wig looked so much better on Wilson way back when. I hate it curly. And I got Mo's "I can't take them [Mark and Joanne] as chums" line. Last comment: I finally got Mark's "You're supposed to be working That's for midnight" line, too. Mimi was supposed to be working, and she and Roger were drinking the alcohol Mark was saving for midnight, btw.
Voice Mail #3— I didn't like Alexi Darling. Here or in her other Voicemail. I also forgot to mention this earlier, but Mark's mom was terrible as Mark's mom, but great in her other parts. That sounded wrong.
Happy New Year B— Very cute. I loved the dialogue between Mark, Mo, and Joanne. They all seem very buddy-buddy with each other.
Take Me or Leave Me— Fun. Haha, Roger was staring at Mo's leather-clad butt!!!
Seasons of Love B— I like this one better than the original.
Without You— So cute!!! Angel looked like a little kid! Oh, and the part where Collins climbed up into the bed looked... Ahem, uh, suggestive.
Voice Mail #4— Alexi Darling. Sucked.
Contact— YESSSSSS!!! MY FAVORITE SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO much better on stage than just listening. But Mo forgot a couple of lines. Oh, haha, Pookie and I decided that Justin Johnston is now God. Cuz when he was standing on the platform, he was all in white, and the spotlight was shining JUST the right way to remind me of the way God is portrayed in movies and shtuff. WAIT A SECOND. Who the hell are Benny and Mark... Doing it... with? And if Angel's dead, then why... OH MY JUSTIN! DEAR MAUTEZ, THAT IS SICK!
I'll Cover You (Reprise)— This is the only point where Collins looks really contorted while he's singing. It was too sweet to make fun at. Except for the part where Mark uses "He" instead of "she". See, angel's "ghost" is just kinda gliding along in a dreamworld... behind some racks of costumes, etc... And he just stops and gives Mark this look... And then Mark was like, "OH! She!" and Justin just gave him this very satisfied, very Wilsonlike look before walking offstage to die.
Halloween— I thought Joanne was supposed to let Mark know he's pathetic.
Goodbye Love— As always, I am in LOVE with the dialogue where MoJo makes up. It was just funnier with Idina and Freddi. But Tracie was awesome.
What You Own— I loved the way that Roger was oh so inspired. His face was like "I see the light! I is am of being enlightened!" and his lyrics were performed with such enthusiasm, it so worked.
Voice Mail #5 – Always hated this one. Don't know why. I actually liked the current cast better than the OBC. Mimi's mom was great. She's the only one I liked in the OBCR version of this song, for the record.
Finale— They could've made it funnier...
Your Eyes— It was equal with Adam Pascal's. But only because this guy acts a hell of a lot better than Adam, who sings a hell of a lot better than this guy.
Finale B— AWESOME! I laughed at Roger's face when Mimi said that angel told her to "Turn around and listen to that boy's song". He was looking at her like, "SERIOUSLY?!?!!! Angel likes my song THAT MUCH that she told Mimi to stop being deaded JUST to listen to it?!!!?" And the girl in the pink fuzzy bra was so bouncy and hilarious! I loved her in the final portion of this song.
Seasons of Love — I LOVED WILSON'S OUTFIT!!! He was wearing a white manblouse, a black tie, a solid black kilt with a white eagle thing on the right hip, and black combat boots. He seriously needs to shave, though, cuz he does NOT look good with facial hair. Remind me to tell you about the tee shirts later. Oh, and it took me until the last three lines to find Daphne. What the hell?!?
After the credits— Pookie and I texted to win free Rent tour tickets. I hope one of us wins!!! And all of the people left in the theater were all like, "Text now, dammit!!!" But the best part was how the one woman sitting WAY behind us was ranting to her friend about how hard it is to sound good while you're up on stage. It was funny. I guess the friend didn't like their singing.
SHIRTS: Someday, I'm gonna get a shirt done by the airbrushing place that will say "Has she ever pouted her lips and called you... POOKIE?" with Pookie in big letters. The words are gonna be across the t1t$, hopefully. And the second shirt is one I'm gonna make myself. On the front will be a cute picture of Wilson and on the back it will say "Because Dominican men are just plain sexier." I CAN'T WAIT!!!
So, yes, overall, it was fvckin amazing!!!
