I've had quite heated battles over the past few years with production companies, trying to convince them of a television renaissance. It was nothing big, just a pursuasive "discussion" of why TV shows that are beloved show both stay on the air and be released on DVD. Unfortunately, companies of this type seem to shy away from anything that may or may not profit for them. This lead me to make quite startling revelations about our beloved past-time... being couch potatoes enjoying a good show. To me, there was always something special about TV.
