    • Personal life in crisis (not serious)

      First day off in months - when I'ven't had to run errands, laundry, etc. But my brother's wedding is this Saturday - and I have a COLD.  I'm not an intregal part of the wedding party, but this BITES.  I'm on cold meds, oj, fruits - and I do feel a little better after sleeping almost 8 hours last night.  You know the old saying - Feed a cold, starve a fever?  Well, have I been Feeding! AND I wasn't a waif before.  So Let's hope my dress still fits - I be trying it on again tonight.  Wish Me LUCK.     • Holidays are wiping me OUT

      I love the holidays ( thanksgiving, Xmas, New Year's) but this year - they're wiping me out!! Its not the holiday blues, I promise.  I don't remember being soo tired before, last year I was bubblying over with enthusiaism. I'm  tire of cleaning up dishes, pots, holiday refuses ( I don't cook) but just the same watching my Mother cook poops me out. And now with the Christmas being almost here and almost over- I'm thinking of the tree that needs to be taken down, the Xmas lights to be put away, the gifts that need to be returned.  I' m just tire thinking of all this. Am I weird ?? I think that for one year we should take a year off and not do any holiday celebrating (haha). Now that would be weird. Read more »

    • surreal day at work

      a usual work day for me is - full of the mind-numbing detail work i've been doing for the past couple of years. you know once you've got the system down - you could sleep walk through it and yet it leaves you drained and completely exhausted ( you stay because the money is GOOD). Well yesterday was the same except the day just breezed by and before I knew i was in the new car driving home. Maybe is was the two new assistants i was given or that i knew the work-free weekend was coming up. Or it could have been the very rare compliment i was give by my boss after another project was successfully completed. Who knows - i only wished all my work-days were that "full of light" and satisfying. Read more »
