MY REVIEWS

  • show: CSI: Miami

    episode: Born To Kill

    The Bottom Line: "Good"

Honestly, this episode didn't live up to my expectations. The previews made it seem really great, like ohh serial killer! Oh wow looks like he may go after Caligh, oh no! But then when you watched it, it seemed very dull and normal episode-y. You couldn't even tell it was the finale, except for the weird music/flash to where ever character currently is scene. The only thing that made this one worth watching was the long awaited return of my favorite cop (other than Wolfe) Jake Berkeley!!! He's so hot! I totally think Caligh should be with him, I mean, the writers never do much with inter-CSI relationships, so Eric/Caligh (soory I don't know the ship's name, if there is one?) thing wouldn't have gone anywhere really. Co-worker relationships always end up messy.

    episode: Ending Happy

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

I'm not quite sure exactly why I loved this episode, maybe it was the part where Hodges reveals his past prostitution experience, or when ol' Greggo has to swab the hookers, oh wait 'pleasure providers', for DNA. Or maybe its the old man and Sara quoting that poem. I'm not sure. All I know is that this may be one of the greatest episodes ever. This may be due to several factors. 1. This and 'Lab Rats' single-handedly turned my opinion of Hodges around 100%. 2. I'm pretty sure this guy had the most COD possibilities yet on CSI. 3. The Doc Robins/Brass scenes where he gets confessions and then they're wrong. or possible Greg's swabbing adventures. I laughed, I cried (ok maybe not) this was a really great episode.

    episode: Toe Tags

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

I liked the whole flashback idea this episode was based on, starting from the autopsy table and moving backward. Also I thought it was a unique way to present the cases, from the victims point of view instead of the investigators. Saddest case was deffinatly Jack, the returning veteran from Iraq. It made me so mad that he was basically killed for no reason, a random victim. I hated it. The one with Donna, the bathtub bodygaurd was absolutly riduculous that someone would kill over something so stupid. Maybe if he didn't gamble so much he wouldn't lose money. Some of the motives on CSI get me so worked up, like first of all, why would you kill somebody and second, that is the stupidest motive EVER! Grr. But all in all I loved this episode.

  • person: Jonathan Togo

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

Jonathan Togo is so hot! Though it did take me a little while when I first started watching to figure out that he wasn't played by the same person as Greg Sanders from regular CSI (Eric Szmanda: gorgeous too). Basically he's the reason I watch CSI:Maimi, though Speed will always have a place in my heart too, Wolfe is totally yummy. Less sweater vests and more jeans would be the only improvment I would say the producers could make to him, well maybe lighten up his dialogue a little too. Just kidding. Ryan is awesome! Keep him exactly the same!

    episode: Big Shots

    The Bottom Line: "Great"

Greg is having quite a season. In this episode we see a new Greg, a more serious Greg that the lab-rat we know and love. The killing of Demitris James really has him shaken and just as he was bouncing back, his brother is a suspect in a murder investigation! Poor Greg can't catch a break! And to make matters worse he is not only taken off the case, but is being hounded by Mrs. James as having something agianst her family and him 'owing them.' Greg is fed up too, you can tell. He wants to put it all behind him and it just isn't in the cards to let him. Poor guy, he still feels super guilty about it, even though I think he's still grappling with his decison. I think he felt obligated to go easy on the brother.
