I always enjoy episodes that feature the rivalry between Brad and Randy because I can really relate. While this episode strongly reminded me of the earlier "High School Confidential," I think it is a wonderful episode in its own "write."

Whereas "High School Confidential," focused on Brad's jealousy of Randy, in this episode, the roles are switched. Randy is jealous because Brad's trivial article on sports gossip has bumped his heady article about genetic mutations off the front page. This so reminds me of the relationship between me and my sister, especially since we are both writers.

Anyway, a top-notch episode and very funny. Two thumbs up!

This is just one of those episodes when you want to slap Tim for being such an idiot. I understand him wanting to break Bob Vila's record, but when he sneaked out of the hospital, he should have just appeared on Tool Time and called it good. Then he could've sneaked back and gotten busted and it still would've been funny. Instead, he re-separates his shoulder.

Also, what moron would let their kid play out in the driveway while there was large machines working nearby? That kid deserved to have his remote control car broken. The dad should have beat up his stupid son instead of Tim.

Overall, still a really good episode with a lot of laughs. Love the hallucinations with Wilson at the hospital.

This has got to be my favourite episode in the series so far (I'm currently halfway through the 2nd season). It's just plain eye candy. For guys, the battle sequence is a sure crowd pleaser. For girls? Come on, it's Kakashi, only about the coolest, sexiest male anime character ever!

In this episode, we get to see just what the sharingan is capable of, and yet the mystery is still not fully revealed until "The Sharingan Shatters" a few episodes later. How was he foreseeing Zabuza's moves? I was so curious that I had to look it up online!

Anyway, to make a long story short, no one should give up on this series before seeing this episode. Trust me, it changes everything!

But will we ever see the man behind the mask . . .

This has got to rank with my least favourite episodes ever. Unlike most people, I don't watch this show only for the mysteries and plot twists. I watch it because I care about the characters and their relationships. But after these last two episodes, I'm beginning to wonder if I'm watching the wrong show.

I can understand the writers needing to brew some "trouble in paradise." Charlie and Claire's relationship was moving a bit fast. But honestly, making Charlie some sociopathic vigilante is going a bit too far. What was up with him attacking an innocent bystander just to get even with Locke? Even what Sawyer did in this episode paled compared to Charlie's brutal attack. Charlie having drug problems is one thing, but this was just over the top.

Hopefully, next week will be an improvement, but for right now: two thumbs way down.

What can I say except for wow! This is one of the best episodes in the second half of season one, in my opinion. The look it gives you into the mind of the Muslim jihad, is both fascinating and disturbing. Boone's funeral was appropriately touching, especially Sayid's eulogy. Kate's drugging of Jack was absolutely adorable. The culprit of Sayid's attack in "The Moth," is unsurprising, but I really liked Sayid's reaction to the crazed Locke. (Die Locke Die)

But anyways, a very solid episode and a worthy follow-up to the tearjerking, nerve-wracking beautiful disaster that is "Do No Harm."
