Alive and Kicking? Well back for the first time in months! :) by lindauk

Hello! Well it really is long time no blog!! I have been so busy with the new job that I started backing January; I have barely had time to think let alone time to spare to come on TV.com! But the good news is I'm hoping to be able to try and get back on here semi-regularly! I will have more free time from the end of June as my travel to work will be drastically cut down so I will have more time at home – some of which I'm sure can managed to be spent here!

General Life Stuff!

Well where to start! As lots of people are aware I started a new job back in January which has kept me very busy. I've been so knackered when I've got home I've been just vegging out in front of the tv! But I'm started to get into the swing of it now and it seems that things are on the up! My lack of tv.comming hasn't been helped by the fact that tv.com comes up as Access Denied at work! (Along with every other decent website out there!)

Compared to my old job where I was able to be on tv.com 24/7 if I wanted and no-one was there to know! Oh well!

Generally in life I'm bobbing along. Still hating the house sharing and counting down the days till we move out on our own (only 62 to go!!). The Grinch has now got a girlfriend but no-one 'officially' knows we just know as they haven't spent a night apart in the last 3 weeks and she seems to live at our house now! Urgh! I am trying to crazily save up at the moment to be able to get lots of new things for our new house! I'm getting excited about moving already when it is really quite a way away!

I have been expanding out my regular sites on the internet *cue gasps!* and have found quite a few! My current thing is making money off the internet for free mainly using survey sites! I use this to fund my television box-set addiction! In the last 2 months we have got 4 box-sets completely freee! (my favourite word that is!) So I'm sure after I have posted this I will be back on with the free money!

TV Stuff

Well what have I been watching now that's a question!! My tv viewing is quite high this year and considering this is a tv site and I haven't been on long I will give up a quick update!

Ghost Whisperer – Loving the new season! Its fab! (also I just brought season 1 on dvd all for free! So I didn't really buy it but hey!)

One Tree Hill – Have found the new season a little hard to fully get into but its still good. I have thought that the last couple were obviously different in the way that they were to the rest of the season but I still enjoy it!

House – Honestly can barely remember what is happening with this but I have the latest episode to watch!

The Big Bang Theory – I love it! This show is my new favourite! Its so funny! I can't believe that its only about 20 minutes long though!

I also have but have yet to watch, Heroes S2, Riches S2, Tudors S2, and soo many more that I want to watch but still haven't.

Really not sure what else there is to say! What have you guys all been up to in my absence? I have just written this at work whilst I am meant o be working but can't be bothered! I have done lots today but can't be bothered to do any more!

Firstly apologies for not coming by anyones blog! I have been so busy and I currently can't access tv.com at work so I have to do it at home mixed in with the million other things i have to do and tv.com has gone to the bottom of the list I'm afraid

I have put some time aside this weekend so I will swing by all the blogs I have missed then So keep an eye out for me! lol!!

I heard on the radio today that there were going to be more disscussions about the Writers strike this week and fingers crossed they get resolved. (The radio said something about it coming up to award time so people were starting to panic!)

TV wise I am watching

*Season 2 of Torchwood in the Uk and loving it!!

*One Tree Hill (USA) and loving it! Really can't wait for this episode this week after seeing the trailer!

*Nip/Tuck - Not really sure where the season is going seems to have a lot of loose ends that aren't going anywhere yet.

*Have 3 episodes of House to watch but am saving them for a mini-marathon one night when I'm home alone

*Lost seaoson 4 I'm working my way through the previous seasons to refresh my memory then i will be watching that. Its takinig a lot of self control to do this as I really want to see it!

And i still have to watch Heroes! so lots to go!!

In other tv/film news I would recommend Over Her Dead Body - a very funny film that both me and my boyf loved!!

Ok this is the randomest blog ever it has no order and i doubt it even makes any sense!!

Well hello alL! I got a bit caught up last week after I found out I got the job finishing off things at home and trying to get everything up-to-date as obviously I won't have that much free time now!!

I had my first day today which was fab and i throughly enjoyed it! Lots to learn and I still have miles to go till I've learnt enough to do the job on my own but its still great fun! The people are lovely too which helps!

One of the downsides is not being able to access TV.com I will just have to get my fixes in the evening. I might eventually be able to get on here but i don't want to do it in my first week (obviously!!) So i will have to apologise for my lack of me as I will be rather busy.

Anyways got things to do now!!

Hey everyone! Just a little warning that this blog may make no sense at all considering it is currently 12.20am and I am ill and unable to sleep so I thought I would write the blog I would have done yesterday had i not been ill, however it may be a big pile of rubbish I will just have to see what I have at the end!

Fisrt things first.... I hope everyone had a fab Christmas and a good new year. My Christmas was great we spent 4 days at my house and 4 days at my partners house. Got two stockings each, two sets of presents each, two Christmas dinners etc. (It is definetly the way to go!!) On the gift front I got some stuff I was extremely pleased with! (I know this is late but I haven't been around in a while!!) My 'biggest' present would be the playstation 2 my other half go me and the games i got which since chrsitmas seems to be quite a few! Singstar(x3!), dance mats and games to name a few!! My parents gave me some money which went on a few boxsets And I got a lot of other randon but very cool stuff. What was everybody's fav present they got??

As for new year my boyfriend and I just had the evening in all alone. We were suprised by the fact that when we came home we had the house to ourselves for almost a week which was very unexpected but very good. Made us both realise how much we can't wait for July when we have our own house. (I already knew I couldn't wait!!)

Since christmas I have been rather busy (well it feels like I have!) I have had some job interviews one of which I realy want to get the job so fingers crossed!!

TV and film wise I've been kinda busy! We saw I Am Legend on Boxing day which was fab! and only a little scary! We saw Dan in real life the other day which i would recommend to everyone! I've seen loads more films but I can't seem to remember them in my ill state!! TV wise I have been making do with very few of my shows! Only the odd episode here and there. Because of this drought I have managed to get up to date with Smallville so now I have another show to watch which isn't airing Planning on rewatching Firefly for somethjing like the 3rd time next as I really like that! But am working my way through lost right now as so that when its back on air i will have some clue about what is going on!! We have some shows starting in the UK soon which I am realy looking forward to. Mainly Torchwood season 2 which starts on Wednesday and has one of my fav actors in, James Marsters!! Also we have Repaer starting over here soon which i am looking forward too as I have yet to watch it. I managed to finish Californication the final episode was awesome and i laughed sooo much!!

I really ought to be asleep but i just can't get to sleep and my boyf has exams so I feel bad about keeping him up and am trying really hard not to make him ill.

I hope everyone is well and i will try and make it round al of the blogs I have missed over the past couple of weeks in the next couple of days so watch out!!

TV Stuff

As i'm sure you can all image this section is getting a bit thin at the moment with barely anything airing!! I did get Samantha Who yetserday which as always I love! Other than that out of my normal tv i'm looking forward to Ghost WHisperer this week.

Because of the lack of television I have had to entertain myself on other ways! Which at the moment is Smallville! I started watching it from the beginning and I am now on Season 3. I am very suprised about the amount that I have already seen!! I don't remember watching it that much but I must have. I'm still enjoying it though!

Film Stuff

This week we have seen:

The Golden Compass: The latest book trilogy to be turned into a film. It was actually quite good. Personally I can't stand child actors and the lead in this was no exception. She annoyed me for the entire film! But put her aside and focus on the story and it was very watachable, i now feel the need to read the series though as there were various things i dind't quite understand! Which hopefully the book will explain further.

Bee Movie: This is one crazy film!! It has talking bees (crazy enough) one Bee goes on a little adventure from the hive and discovers that humans are eating honey; he is obviously outraged so he decides to sue humans!! A very fuinny film for kids and adults alike!

Life Stuff

Where to start!! The Grinch is still not talking to me!! He is being quite appaling reall, I tried talking to him the other day and he went Hmm and walked off. Men!! You are all terrible (ok well not all of you!!) He seriously needs to grow up espically as in a couple of week when we come back after Christmas it will just be me, him and Nathan. fun!! The Grinch is also being a pain in the ass with the heating! We are having a rather cold spell here at the moment where we have a thick frost every night, our house is old and doesn't contain heat very well at all. We had the heating set up so that it comes on long enouogh before anyone gets up so that the house is warm however he keeps changing the times to suit his living and no-one elses! Not very polite at all!! Urgh enough about him he really is driving me mad but on a yay for annoying him I now have a.......

Playstation 2 (yes its not the newest thing on the market but as I explained to Dan it does everything thing I need!!) We also have Singstar and are awaiting the arrival or more games and a dance mat!! The Grich has a tendency to play extremely loud mucic when everyone else is in bed or really late (loud music at midnight when you share isn't acceptable) so Nathan has decided that we can beat him at his own game with our wonderful singstar voices!! lol!!

I doubt there will be another blog until next week now as we have Nathan's family visiting for the weekend.

I have managed to make it to level 38. I did some subs yesterday adding episodes and then went to add the cast but the episodes weren't showing properly so I thought I ought to leave it to update itself and do them today instead! I seem to have a rather busy day today oh well better go get started!!

TV Stuff:

Gossip Girl: One of my only shows that actually aired this week!! It was a good episode I enjoyee it. I really am loving this show its fab!! Serena's Grandma was a b!tch!! I really didn't like her, i'm glad Serena stood up for herself! Her and Dan are so cute! I was annoyed at Blair I liked her and Chuck!

I have been having to keep myself occupied with other tv at the moment which is Smallville. I'm halfway through season 2 and quite enjoying it. I have seen some of season 1 +2 before but its still really good to watch them in order.

Film Stuff:

I won't be going to the cinema unti tonight we are going to watch The Golden Compass which should be a really good film. Even tho I have never read the book that its based on but it still should be good. Just out of interest the series is Dark Materials and the first book in the UK is called Nothern Lights I was just wondering what it was called in the US as the film is called The Golden Compass. Its like the Harry Potter books have slightly different names in the US.

The Virgin Suicides: I watched this film yesterday as I am a Kirsten Dunst fan and i was under the inpression it was meant to be a really good film. I didn't know what to expect and I still am not quite sure what i think about the film. I think i may have to watch it again a little later on and see what I think.

Life Stuff;

Life stuff has been a bit odd recently my housmate STILL isn't talking to me!! The weird bloke that he is!! Randomly I recieved 48 free bottles of Volvic Revive! All free for a product test how cool is that! I'm pretty good at getting free stuff!!

Tv.com Stuff:

I have been quite active in TV.com recently going up 4 levels since my last blog! Getting a good start on my aim to reach level 50!

Hello! Its that time of the week again!!

TV Stuff:

Desperate Housewives: I loved this episode personally I rated it up there with Bang. I can't believe that that is how the series has ended for now. I really want the writers strike to be over. I need to know what happened!! The cliff hanger was so huge I can't believe it!!!!

Bionic Woman: I'm not really a huge fan of this series but I have watched it through to the end. As for this episode I didn't miss Antiono at all. i found it quite amusing that they were watching Heroes! For a final episode i didn't find it very eventful!

Shrek The Halls: This was a funny 30 minutes of tv. I have enjoyed all of the Shrek films and this wasn't a dissapointment. Shame it didn't air in the uk I wonder if they will air it in the uk closer to Christmas?

Samantha Who?: Another funny 30 minutes!! I enjoy it every week!

Film Stuff;

Fred Claus: This was quite a funny Christmas film. I enjoyed it. It was predictable but still it was worth seeing. A nice family Christmas film!!

This Christmas: This was obviously another Christmas film it wasn't as good as the previous film but it was still an ok Christmas film. i doubt I would see it again but considering I don't pay for the cinema but still. I found the film a little confusing but once i had wrapped my head around it I was ok.

Life Stuff:

Nothing much has happened recently.Housemate is still not talking to me! doens't really bother me that much. I started my Christmas shopping this weekend I brought a whole 1 present!! not anywhere near finishing. I almost know what I'm getting everyone tho which is good.

TV.com Stuff:

I have a tv.com aim whichis tobe level 50 by Christmas lets just hope I can manage it!

Hello all another blog from moi!

TV Stuff

House: I enjoyed this weeks episode and I'm happy with the outcome of House's new team I am wondering tho where the season is going to go from here considering up to this point it has mainly been him working his way towards a new team.

Gossip Girl: I enjoyed the flashbacks they had this episode. Thet had the right mixture of happy and unhappy hoilday memories. Which is good because the hoildays for some people aren't a happy time. I know that Rufus had to choose his wife over his first love but I still wished he hadn't and I don't think that we have seen the end of the three of them. (I haven't read the books so i'm guessing!)

Nip/Tuck: I'm not really sure what I though of this episode, it had a lot more sex in than the previous episodes. But i guess it used to be like that in earlier seasons. I liked the way that Christian played Eden because I can't stand her! But I get where all of her b!tchyness comes from now. Kimber and Matt really are annoying me they have a child that should be there top prioty at least Matt daydreams about being better when he's high but still it makes me angry.

Film Stuff

Good Luck Chuck: As far as comedy's go this was average of the films I have seen this year. It wasn't as bad as some (Superbad) but its wasn't anywhere near as good as others (Knocked Up). Worth a watch but I doubt I would watch it again!

We are off the the cinema to see Fred Claus which looks funny. I love Christmas films so I am expecting to see a lot of films in the next month!

Life Stuff:

I'm feeling much happier today than I have previously. I guess my hormones have settled down a bit! Housemate is still not talking to me. Nathan says I need to be the grown up and make the first move but I really don't want to because it will proberly turn into another argument considering there are a lot of things left unsaid and I don't wish to argue with him. On a happier note I will be putting our Christmas decorations up on Monday as then it is offically December so I can get away with it! They would be going up on saturday but we are in Dorset for the weekend.

On a completly random note I picked up a brand new never opened or played Desperate Housewives Dirty Laundry game for �3 from a charity shop today which was good! Also got a game called Mr and Mrs which is apparently based on an old tv show but I thought it looked like fun!

TV.com Stuff:

Haven't made any subs yet today as I got distracted by tidying. I have been rather hyperactove and I don't think sitting in front of the computer is going to make it go away!
