NBC has always got a good eye for sitcoms. Although it may seem that it has past its golden years when Cheers,Frasier,Seinfeld and Friends are still on the air, NBC proved that it is still the king of sitcoms with My Name Is Earl and The Office last season.
This show isn't the type that changes the way you see sitcoms like My Name Is Earl and The Office, but still it's a great show with a talented cast crew. In the pilot, one single's table brings five single people together, each with their problems, but they click almost instinctly. And the dynamite of the characters just couldn't be better.
As for the actors, John Cho is a very talented comedian which I'm sure you all know. Rhea Seehorn is one of the most underappreciated actresses these days, her excellent performance on Head Cases was disposed by the cancellation of the show. I think she's a very promising actress and has a big future ahead of her.

Shark Avg Score: 8.90 Total Ratings: 1922 Total Reviews: 71 Users who agree: 1 Users who disagree: 1 |
When a show is granted the lead-in of CSI, which is the most watched drama on TV, you really think you should watch it even though it's not your favorite type of show. The fact is that I love crime drama with hard-core coutroom action. I really don't have any excuse to not give this show a try. But it is a huge letdown. This show concentrates on Sebastian Stark, I get it, expecially after I'm done, I don't remember there's other characters on the show. Maybe it's just the pilot, or maybe not, but one thing I do know is that if Shark relies too much on James Woods, this show will be a complete disaster, because the charisma of Sebastian Stark is gonna wear off for sure.
The good thing about the show is the premise. When you see a money-driven lawyer throw out his career and want to see justice in our society, you just can't not like him. Other than that, the whole show needs fine-tuning, like how the story folds, character development of the supporting actors, and also it should go deep into the crime.

Smith Avg Score: 8.70 Total Ratings: 795 Total Reviews: 82 Users who agree: 1 |
The good guys and the bad guys, these two distinct groups of people have always been on so many TV shows and yet they might never disappear on the small screen. On TV, we discover that sometimes the good guys are not so good, and the bad guys are not all together bad. And we appreciate the producers' attempt to bring out the realest characters, in contrast to the old days--Heroes never makes mistakes, villians never have a heart.
After Heist(a comic take on a group of thieves and their opperation) failed, this season we get two shows about grand theft: Smith and Knights of Prosperity. It shows that the producers think that we, the viewers, are little fed up with the heroes on TV. I think they are right. In the pilot of Smith, we can see how the team is gathered, how their opperation is carried out, how talented they are in their specialties, and how normal they are. What I like about this show is the documentary way of chronicling the characters, nothing fancy, but quite real. And the show cut deep into the bone of the characters and their emotions. I think this show is promising if CBS give it a chance.

Happy Hour Avg Score: 7.64 Total Ratings: 294 Total Reviews: 32 |
It is always a pleasure to see fresh faces on TV, and it is even more pleasant to discover that some of them really have talents. Oppose to 'Til Death, Happy Hour gathers up a few not-so-familiar actors with some not-so-shabby performance. It's about the relationship between three single friends and a couple. It's almost like the male version of Sex and the City, though it's not as witty and chic. Even though the jokes on the show are a little bit old and unoriginal, it's still enjoyable and the way how the writer and executive producers put the stories together really makes it work. I think it does have some protential.

FOX is not very good with sitcoms, even with Emmy winner Brad Garrett on the show. I'm very disappointed, cause I love Brad Garrett, I was hoping that he could be back on television after Everybody Loves Raymond was over. Brad is the only funny factor on this show, his wife is kind of funny, but the Woodcock couple is just plain annoying. The reason this show is not funny is that the punch lines are not funny and more importantly totally perdictable, the writers should think outside the box and come up with something original or this show will be the fist sitcom to get cancelled.
