about me

hey everybody! this is my first blog entry on this website so i thought id introduce myself.

Myname is lisa, im 16 yrs old andi live in Queensland, Australia. i am in year 11 next yr (2008 ) which is tomorow!! ahh scary, i cant believe its 2008 tomorow. this year has gone so fast and was really really good...probably my best yr yet!soon i will be able to say that i am 18 next year, that next year is my last year of school, next yr i will be legal 2 drink...etc. ah and soon im going to have 2 figure out what iwant to do with my life, because like most people my age, i still have no idea what im going 2 do!

oo and omg 1 more thing 2 add 2 that list of things i can say tomorow.....'im going to italy this year!!!' yay.

lol i started babbling, back to introducing me...

i like hanging out with friends, listening to music, watching tv, taking pictures and editing pictures on the computer, making movies, shopping, playing piano/guitar....and pretty much doing what most 16 yr olds do. Im a quite a quiet person and am shy untill i get to know people..i hate public speaking and stuff because its scary lol.

My favorite tv shows right noware house, prison break, gilmore girls, friends and the oc. i like heaps of other shows which i cant think of right now.

my favorite channels on tv (austar... cable tv in australia 4 anyone who doesnt know)are fox 8, arena, mtv, channel [v], nickelodeon, disney and comedy.

my favorite bands are Good Charlotte(bestconcert ever)and All-American Rejects.

Other bands i like areKisschasy, Plain white t's, queen, fall out boy, panic! at the disco, queen, bon jovi, cat empire, red jumpsuit apparatus...and more

Ok, you have to admit, the pilot episode for the gilmore girls was extreamly good.

In the first scene, the show establishes the relationship that Rory and Loreli have with one another. Right away, their personalities show through and we see the way that they work. In the opening scene, we see Lorelai beg Luke for coffee and come to terms with her love for coffee.

This episode also estabilshes the relationship between loreali and her parents along with showing us rorys ambitions for her schoool life.

Rory is also introduced to Dean during her last few days of school and you can see how she is going to have a relationship with him

overall, an awesome episode that defently starts the show of very well!

1 word: Jess. That pretty much describes why this episode is good.
I absolutly love Jess, he is my favourite character on the show (of course..that is after lorelai and rory). He is played by Milo Ventimiglia, who I knew as an actor from Heroes before I started watching Gilmore girls. In the beginning of the episode you're positioned to dislike him because he's rude to lorelai and everybody, but you soon find that he is not what he seems. I loved the last scene at the end where he took Rorys book and wrote notes in it :) Oh yeah, and the scene where Jess gets pushed into the lake is hilarious! Anyway, besides Jess, this is the first episode where you see Rory in a journalistic situation and its the beginning of her 'career' in a way.

This episode was great, you get to learn about the first experiances of the heroes when they got their powers. You also learn alot about the Sylar and how he became an evil person and the reason behind why he kills the heroes. The episode also takes you back to the time where Chandra Suresh (Mohinders father) is back alive.
You also watch as Hiro goes back in time 6 months earlier from the future trying to save Charlie (the girl from the burnt toast cafe).
All in all, this episode was great and really helps you get the background information on the heroes and their powers.

Thats So Suite Life of Hannah Montana didnt turn out to be as good as i thourght it would be. The part with raven at the tipton meeting zach and cody worked alright but Hannah Montana was only in the show for about five minutes altogether. I had higher expectations for this show.
Besides that, the plot was alright.
