Why do I only write after "The Office" and who cares?
There's only one word that can describe what I thought of "The Office" tonight: SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Future Dwight" seriously made my life.
Only one thing sucks... anybody else up for a petition to kill off Karen? Anybody?

High off of Jam
I LOVE THE OFFICE!!!
I was seriously considering moving it down to my 3rd favorite show from my 2nd favorite show, but then Jim and Pam TALKED TO EACH OTHER. And for the love of God, it was about friggin' time!!!! It only took five eppys.
That Karen girl is really pissing me off.
But the JAM LOVE is making me very happy!!!!!!!
I can't wait to read the fics based on it this week. If only I could actually finish an "Office" fic. I don't know what it is with that show. Well, the only show I've actually finished a fic for is "Strange Days" and that was just a couple of one-shots.
Off topic.
Must get back to Jam.
SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Degrassi: The Next Generation
So, I used to be this huge Degrassi fan. Like, not even kidding. I could tell you the realationship between any two characters without even thinking twice.
Then, I stopped watching. The last episode I watched on the night it aired was the one where Rick brought the gun to school. I guess I just lost interest after that. I'm not sure why.
My sister, Bailey, however, remained addicted to DTNG and when she told me about what was going on, I would nearly die of shock. Emma with an STD? Liberty with a Baby? Paige with a girl? And who the heck is Peter? I tried to watch a few eppys with her, but I just couldn't get into it at all. My sister was yelling at me for asking so many questions, but I was just confused.
Anyway, on Friday, I was bored and decided to watch the second half of the premiere (I was watching the new "Hannah Montana" for the first half) and now I'm sure I made the right choice to stop watching. I got so angry with this eppy. (Although the whole "Amberly and Eleanor" thing made my life)
After it was over, I told my sister "This is why I stopped watching this show." It's too soap opera for me now.
Okay. That's my rant for today. Will be ranting more if on Thursday, there's another eppy of "The Office" in which Pam and Jim don't even speak to each other. (Does that bug anybody else? Did they think we weren't going to notice? This is getting dangerously close to shark jumping)

Men in Trees
I will probably write all of this again in a Men in Trees review, but I love ranting... and lists. So this entry will be a ranting list. Fun, no?
Similarities between what is probably my favorite TV show of all time (Northern Exposure) and Men in Trees
1) NEx: Outsider Joel Fleischman is from the Big Apple
MiT: Outsider Marin Frist also hails from the city that never sleeps
2) NEx: One bar: The Brick
MiT: One bar: The Cheiftan
3) NEx: One way out: bush pilot Maggie O'Connel
MiT: One way out: bush pilot Buzz
4) NEx: Setting: Small Town Cicely, Alaska
MiT: Setting: Small town Elmo, Alaska
5) NEx: Farewell wishes from main character's former significant other: "Don't Get Frostbite"
MiT: Farewell wishes from main character's former significant other: "Don't Get Cold"
6) NEx: Maggie and Joel, the show's driving couple, don't get off to a good start (ie. Joel think's she's "In the hospitality business")
MiT: Marin and Jack, who will most likely be the show's driving couple, don't get off to a good start (ie. Marin goes all "psycho-analysis" on him when they first meet)
7) NEx: Maggie and Joel= M+J
MiT: Marin and Jack= M+J (Coincidence, I think not)
8 ) NEx: The Bar: Run by odd couple Shelly Tambo and Holling Vincouer
MiT: The Bar: Run by odd couple Ben and Theresa
9) NEx: Radio DJ Chris "In The Morning" Stevens
MiT: Radio DJ Patrick Bachelor
(Is there anyone running these stations when these guys aren't around? Seriously)
And if that wasn't enough...
Who's Who?
Marin Frist = Joel Fleischman
Patrick Bachelor = Ed Chigliak and Chris Stevens
Ben (the bar guy) = Holling Vincoeur and Chris Stevens
Jack = Maggie O'Connell (in terms of sexual tension)
Buzz = Maggie O'Connell (in terms of pilot thing)
That's all for now. I'll probably post these lists on the MiT forums and see if anyone else has additional similaties.

Thomas
So, I'm now back from writing camp, which is kind of a bittersweet thing. I'm glad to be home, but on the last night of camp, this guy Thomas told me he likes me. It was really sweet, but he lives in Little Rock and I live in Atlanta, which is really sad. I'll probably never see him again, which sucks because he's the first guy who's ever liked me.
*sighs* I'll always have TiVo

I love this show so much. I would give anything for The-N to air "Usual Suspects" one more time so I could TiVo it, put it on DVD, and rememorize it. I had every episode DVR'd but then deleted them to make more space. I was so upset when I found out it went off the air that my friends started calling me Tally (it stuck, it's been 4 years, and I'm still Tally). I loved the theme song (the American version, I've heard the Brit. one and I don't like it as much), I loved the characters, and I loved the fact that it was set at Boarding School (since I've wanted to go to one since 2nd grade). Seriously, massive amounts of money to anyone who has a tape of "Usual Suspects"- that's the one with all the pranks. God, I'm getting depressed just thinking about the fact that I'll never see this show again.

I love this episode. I love this episode. I love this episode. I could say that 1,000 times, but tv.com would think I was trying to up my word count. This is one of my favorite episodes of any tv show ever.
I used to have completely memorized. From "Tally, How many times a day do you change" "Three, maybe four, it depends" to "I broke the statue", "Chill, it's only maths" and " I used to wet the bed when I first came to the oaks." My friend Morgan and I must have watched at least 50 times. I had it on my DVR then I got TiVo, and now I wish I had put it on tape, because I would give ANYTHING to see it again. You have no idea. There's a reason my friends started calling me Tally when the show ended (I was a little bit of a drama queen about the whole thing, and may have gone around reciting this episode endlessly... maybe)

Let me start out by saying that was NOT a proper fight induced make out session. Not by TV or real life standards. A proper fight induced kiss should follow a screaming match, not a battle of non-wits. Seriously. A fight induced kiss should have yelling with people stepping closer and closer to each other with each biting comment. When I saw the summary, I was so excited because I figured I get to see a nice, real, screaming match, because there's nothing I love more than a song fight or a fight induced make out session in movies, tv, or Broadway shows. It's just more fun that way. And they really need to stop using all of these lame "write outs" on the show. It's really annoying. We all know that being where ever they were is not the reason Kevin and Lucy were in the eppy. This writing around characters is really getting on my nerves.
Eric yelling at his patrons was pretty funny, but the results were WAY too forced. The twins are really getting on my nerves with their whole "I hope he has a good heart" kind of stuff. With Ruthie being a complete witch (mods won't let me use the other word) this season, we really need the twins as comic relief. Not aditional voices of reason in the household.
If I wasn't so incredibly OCPD and could stop watching this show, I would, but after four years of solid viewing, I can't stop. Because if I could stop, I wouldn't be watching Gilmore Girls any more. Oh, well. This show will continue pissing me off, but I will still keep watching. I bet The CW wishes everybody was like me, huh? Next week is going to be insanely painful to watch. I just really hope he doesn't start singing. Really.

Oh my God. I knew that that chick from "Roseanne" was going to start making appearances on the show, but as Ritchie's wife/girlfriend?! Good lord! Do they really need another person to cheat on their spouse on this show? I started watching this show because I loved Jesse Tyler Ferguson in "Spelling Bee", but he's not making me too happy right now. And where was his wife with the whole suicide thing? Well, at least that makes more sense now, but wow! I used to sympathize for him, but now I'm thinking I may have to hate him. That decision will be made next week.
Luckily, once again Kat gives me something to look forwards to. The ear thing had to be one of the greatest things I've ever seen. I'm glad I'm probably going to fail AP US History because I was watching TV instead of reading the remaining 300 pages in a book I have a test on tomorrow, just because of that scene between Kat and Ethan.
And speaking of Kat and Ethan, when are they going to hook up?

I love "Gilmore Girls." I'm a Gilmore Junkie, but I'm also a Java Junkie Junkie (For anyone who doesn't read fanfiction Java Junkie is the Luke/Lorelai relationship) This whole Christopher thing is really starting to bug me. I wish that Chris was the talked about, but never seen character on GG. The writers and producers have to know that if they break up Luke and Lorelai, then viewership is going to drop. Even Lorelai's hair bothered me. The only things that are getting me through the evil love triangle are the minor characters. Without Sookie, Michel, Lane, Zach, et al, I would stop watching. The only thing making me want to tune in next week is the hope of seeing Lane tell her mom and Zach that she's pregnant. Even Kirk is getting annoying. Although the Kirk's thing DID make me laugh a little, it got old really quickly. If they don't pull the show out of this rut fast, I know a lot of people who won't watch, including me. Well, at least Luke punched Chris, that kind of made my life.
