It's almost weekend again, and that's a very good thing!!

This weekend there is an air race in my hometown. All kind of small planes flying a tricky track, over the harbour of Rotterdam! A good friend lives in an appartment with a first row view to the race, so guess where I will be this weekend?

Hopefully the weather will be a bit better than the last few days, it has been rain, rain, rain and more rain..... but we will have a good time anyway!

A good friend gives a grand opening party for his newly bought bar/restaurant. Tonight we have a big party. It is about one hour driving from my town, so after the party we have to sleep over at his place. It is probably going to be a long, but very good night! I am looking forward to it!

73 Year old actor/director/producer Sydney Pollack died yesterday in his home in LA. He had been suffering from cancer for a while.

The first movie role of him, that came to my mind when I heard the news this morning, was his part in Eyes Wide Shut. And of course his recurring guest roles in Will & Grace. He was a great director and actor.

May he rest in peace.
