    ABOUT ME

    maxxie_m

    name: maxxie_m

    my story:
maxxie lives in Minnesota (land of 10,000 lakes and 10 bazillion mosquitos). She is a mommy, a writer, a reader, a lover... She acknowledges her tv addiction and dislikes 99% of "reality television." She dreams of one day assassinating Mark Burnett, whom she blames for the current glut of reality tv, and Donald Trump, who she finds downright annoying, egotistical, smarmy etc.

    • New Design

If it ain't broke, don't fix it... When I first heard of the re-design, I thought, uh, well I won't go into that. Let's just say I wasn't doing cartwheels. Well, this just sucks! Seriously, that's all that was submitted.I can no longer pin threads, which is a pain considering the forum posters like me to post a pinned... Read more »

I'm also thinking of checking out Flashpoint (every girl needs some mindless action, right?) and The Cleaner ('cuz, let's face it, Benjamin Bratt is H-O-T!). I gave up on Saving Grace after a couple episodes last year. I dunno, it just didn't work for me. Read more »

    • Where has the summer gone?

You know, the long hot days of summer used to be filled with little to no quality television. Well, thanks in large part to basic cable, that is no longer the case. I used to look forward to the tv"off-season." I could use the time to recharge my television-obsessed brain. But now: eight, that's the number of shows I'm watching this year. The Kill Pt. (SPIKE), though this is actually a mini-series.Saving Grace (TNT), looks nice and weird-the way I like 'emDamages (FX), I'm looking forward to watching the show unfold via flashbacksRescue Me (FX), Denis Leary writing/producing, 'nuff saidBurn Notice (USA), fits the network brand of dramedyMad Men (amc), sexual politics amid the dawning of the sexual revolution? Awesome.PSYCH (USA), Corbin Bernsen playing straight-man... Read more »
