They must be doing weird things with the level increases, cause my level doesn't move for days and days and then it jumps a huge amount. I guess this is better than just not moving at all!

I finally got the 'M' emblem. I haven't been adding much, even to the shows that I edit that are on daily. I have the stuff on tape and now I'm so backlogged on it that it's ridiculous!
But I have to start somewhere, so I started adding the cast and stars to the shows, since that's fairly easy. I don't have to think about that one, other than when I get two people come up with the same name. But I still have lots more to do, and old episodes on tape. It's kind of funny, really, cause it's one of those daily news/entertainment shows, and I'm watching ones from February where they're talking about Britney's meldown... that is ~so~ last month!

I had to shut off the WYSIWYG editor because it wouldn't let me post my stats without giving me error messages, and when I tried to post them with it on (by typing them up by hand), it left blank lines in there. So I just did it without the editor thing... I didn't use it much at all anyway.
Levels are broken, so I'm at level 19, 6% and have been for at least a week and a half, I think. I have a bunch of shows on tape that I don't want to waste time adding the info onto the site if I'm not going to get credit for all my work, but my tapes are running out of room, so I hope they fix the levels soon!

The Amazing Race The Way You Look, Yeah Avg Score: 8.83 Total Ratings: 45 Total Reviews: 11 Users who disagree: 2 |
This was another exciting leg of the Amazing Race, lots of action, lots of fun, and a yield.
The yield is where Eric revealed the stuff that he's really made of. Snips and snails and puppy dog tails? No. He's made of bitterness and hatred. Calling the Beauty Queens 'hookers' for using the yield was childish and uncalled-for. I couldn't believe that this is the so-called insult that he came up with for another team ~who were simply playing the game by the rules as laid out~. If the roles were reversed, you absolutely can NOT tell me that Eric wouldn't have used the yield.
What was even worse was that Danielle just stood there and let him call the other girls that. She obviously has no self-respect, if she lets her boyfriend get away with verbal abuse like that. It doesn't matter if he's saying it to her or to someone else, it's disgusting, and she should have told him that, and told him to stop.
Eric totally ruined my enjoyment of this leg of the race, and I'd really like to see that team get eliminated now, just because Eric is disgusting and doesn't deserve to win anything at all.

The Amazing Race Say Your Deepest Prayers Ever Avg Score: 8.87 Total Ratings: 47 Total Reviews: 9 Users who disagree: 1 |
The final leg of this season's The Amazing Race was ... well, just not that exciting. There seemed to be a lot of travel in the first half of the show, and not a lot else. When they finally got to doing things, I thought it would pick up, but they didn't really have to do anything. All three teams picked the same task in making the jacket, and the judge there seemed a little picky. The skydiving... well, that looked like fun, but it wasn't really anything difficult for them to do as it was a tandem jump with an instructor/professional, so they really just had to be there. Sure, it might be a little scary for them, but it's not like they were doing it on their own.
Overall, I just didn't get the sense that this final leg was in any way difficult for the teams. It was more a matter of timing, and with the flight to New York... well, that was really the deciding factor. And I firmly believe that the show, TAR, had the two tickets that were released to the boys, so that it wouldn't just be a Rob/Kim finale.
It was an okay episode, but not what I was expecting in a finale, and for that reason, it was a let-down.

This episode was action packed, much like other episodes of The Amazing Race. But this one had a particularly bad detour. Now, they've had to do some odd/scary things on detours before, like bungee jumping, and eating cow lips or whatever, but this one was worse.
Searching through a pile of tomatoes for one with the next clue in it, while having locals hurl tomatoes at you just does NOT sound like any kind of fun. It sounds dangerous, in fact, and painful. All other detours/fast forwards have had safety people there... but this... this was just mayhem.
It didn't surprise me when Kim said that she was leaving; being hit in the head with tomatoes would make me leave too. What surprised me was Rob's response, calling her a quitter. I noticed that in the "interview" with Rob and Kim after that, Kim didn't speak... which makes me wonder if they're destined to stay together, or if Kim has decided that the relationship between her and Rob is over; he simply couldn't understand that she didn't want to be assaulted... and that is something that could definitely end a relationship. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

The Amazing Race I Covered His Mouth, Oh My Gosh! Avg Score: 8.66 Total Ratings: 51 Total Reviews: 10 |
After last week's drama with the boyfriends versus the Beauty Queens, resulting in the boyfriends being eliminated, we get more Drama Queen this week. I mean, Beauty Queen...
The Barbies, as they're occasionally called, show their true racing spirit by withholding information, refusing to co-operate and taking whatever they can get from the other teams. While, yes, this is a race, and if you want to win, you can't always play clean... still, I don't think they're making any friends with the other teams or the viewers.
There are other teams that are bonding: the Cho brothers, the Southern teams (the two single moms, the coalminer & wife), and that's good to see. But again, while that's nice, it doesn't always win you the race.
And it seems that the editors want us to dislike Peter. They're not putting words in his mouth, but I'll bet they're taking them ~out~ of his mouth. They're editing so that he seems to come across as a jerk to Sarah... and it's working!
The surprise this week was that there was no elimination, which was interesting. One of the 'nice' teams came in last, and didn't get eliminated. Hmmm... I have to wonder, do they decide before the fact that it's going to be a non-elimination round, or do they make that decision when they see who's last?

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip The Long Lead Story Avg Score: 9.03 Total Ratings: 363 Total Reviews: 20 Users who agree: 1 |
This was another excellent episode of Studio 60. The continuing story with the reporter there following everyone's moves adds tension. I thought that the story line of the cast members trying to cover for the PA who told the story that she shouldn't have was well done; it showed the caring and concern that these people have for each other, yet it was done with humor as well... they were so totally useless in keeping secrets!
Danny's street cred was a funny story line too, and it just makes the audience wonder exactly what he said to the aspiring writer to make him choose to go with Jordan's offer. And, of course, Matt and Harry... we can see the still burning embers of their relationship, and I'm sure that this story line will be dragged out... as it should be. They'll end up together, but not for a while!
Overall, this was another great episode; fast-paced, funny, and interesting.
