Faith returns from Mexico and vows to be a better person. She helps out around the house- Charley's pleasantly surprised. Until he finds out she washed his convertible- stripping the paint and scratching the crome in the process. Hope knows Charley needs to cool down so she tells Faith to take Sydney to the library. But Sydney sneaks off and gets her tongue peirced, Faith was ready to tell Hope until Hope tells her if she make one more mistake, she's history. Faith has to tell Hope when Syd's tongue starts to hurt, and Charley catches them. Hope knows she has to make Faith leave.

This is the turning point in the series. While I still like the episodes, I think the show isn't quite the same without Nicole Paggi in the role of Sydney. Megan Fox is okay, but Nicole's way of playing Sydney made her more likeable. Nicole also looked like the family, but Megan does not.

In the second half of the episode, Faith starts shooting the episode, but during a break Hope notices somthing suspicious- Jaquline, Laura, and Brook toasted champaine. Hope tells Faith who thinks nothing of it. Faith is excited for the scene where Jackie shoots Brook, but she shoots Faith instead. But Faith refuses to die, so the girls try to suffocate her. Hope is appauled and stops the madness. Later at the awards Charley mentions that Sydney was sick in the hotel room, but she's really a few rows behind them with her college boyfriend. At the ceromony a huge fight breaks out, and Faith realizes Hope was right- Family is all that matters. Brook then makes a shocking announcment- Jaquline is her mother who abandoned her, but thaat isn't the most shocking part! After, Faith dissapears and the Shanowskis return home to look for Faith. They find a message from Faith, telling them she's leaving.

Faith has been nominated for an emmy. She comes up with a sure way to win- tell them she quit the show to take care of mentally ill Hope. The studio is so touched that they send the whole family to the awards for free. Everybody knows they're living large when they see their hotel room. Faiths old friend Jaquline comes by and invites her to a party. She also hints their producer, Laura, may be re-hiring Faith. After, Jaquline goes back to her room where Laura's waiting for her. She tells her that Faith went for it, and asks her for a document. Laura tells her she'll give it to her later. At the party a boy offers Sydney champain, and Laura tells Faith that she's coming back to the show. At the taping for the show Sydney runs into the boy from the party, and tells him she's in college.

After Hope tells Faith to find a job, she poses as her agent and goes to a talent agency. Later they get a call and they say that Faith is booked for a Trade Show. When she gets there, her job is to hold a jack hammer all day. When she gets home she is shaking and tells Hope she wants to quit. But Charley walks in and Faith changes her mind. Meanwhile, after getting a D on a paper, Hope threatens that if Sydney gets worse then a C+ on her next paper, she can forget about going to a 50 cent concert. Sydney asks Haley to write her Science paper in exchange for giving her money to buy Hope a Mother's Day present. When Hope and Charley read Sydney's paper, they figure out that Haley wrote it. They then try their best to make the girls confess. Later, the family goes to the trade show and after seeing how Faith is treated, Hope gets really mad. just then, the emmy nominations come on, and announce Faith is nominated for her role on The Sacred and the Sinful.

When Jack comes to the Shanowskis, he announces Summer left him, and asks to move in with them. Hope and Faith worry about him, and when Faith's friend Mandi comes over, she suggests he dates her mother. The next day he comes down all happy and tells them that his girlfriends upstairs. To everyones surprise, Mandi comes downsatairs! Hope asks what happened with her mother, and Jack said she didn't go for her. Hope is disturbed by this, but Faith is very happy. That is until later when she sees the two all kissy. She asks Mandi to end it,but she refuses. So later at a party for Jack, Faith shows up with Mandi's father as her date!
