My top 5 favorite comic book movies ever!!!/New York critic gets attacked

5. X2: X-Men United

4. Batman Begins

3. Spider Man 2

2. Iron Man

1. The Dark Knight

I saw this movie at 12:30 on July 18th, and it has got to be the best comic book movie I've seen, ever. My 23 year old brother said "It was the best movie I've seen in my life" and I agree as well.

Everything worked and there were no flaws because every flaw has been counter attacked with a solution. All the actors delivered outstanding performances, especially Heath Ledgers as The Joker. The Joker is scary, funny, evil and menacing all at the same time. The plot is deep, dark and complex, you'll keep guessing what happens next, it's intense most of the time, it never got truly boring. The action scenes have improved greatly from Batman Begins, the special effects are mind blowing as well, the violence is more brutal too. The music is perfect as it makes most scenes have tension. Batman's gadgets and vehicles were useful and cool as well.

This is more than a comic book/superhero movie, it's a crime drama and is considered to be one of the greatest sequels since The GodFather Part 2 and Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back.

If you haven't seen this movie, what are you waiting for, go and see it now, watch it more than once. Sure, I'm hyping it, but it's just so good, people did applaud at certain scenes, LOL.

R.I.P. Heath Ledgers, you deserve the Oscar.

This movie is a 10/10.

In other news, a New York critic was attacked by TDK fanboys when he gave a bad review on TDK, that's messed up, violence doesn't solve anything.

Are comic books for kids only/Some people just can't review movies/TDK

Your eyes don't decieve you, that's The Dark Knight Xbox 360. Here's the contest.

To be honest, I don't think comic books are just for kids, some can be for adults, agree or disagree.

In fact, Perfect Dark: Janus Tears is not suitable for kids for 3 reasons:

Bad Language

Joanna shows a bit of skin(more than a kid could handle)

Lots of blood, trust me, Joanna bleeds a lot from getting shot, and so does the people she hurts

Yet, some say comic books are only for kids, which brings me to the reviews of The Dark Knight at rottentomatoes.com . Around 10(out of 134 positive) are negative, and they all have something in common: They say the movie is too dark and serious. Trust me, I read them all. And here we go.

Ok, what's wrong with that, Batman Begins was dark and brought Batman to his roots, unlike that piece of **** you call Batman and Robin. So, your going to give it a bad review because it's dark and serious. Can't comic book movies be dark and serious, it's closer to the comics than the Batman movies in the late 80s and 90s. Sure, it's their opinions, and I can't change that, but we can all agree/disagree with their opinions, and not making a review having valid points will force us to most likely disagree with the reviews. So they want it to be campy and possibly PG, it's called The "DARK" Knight for a reason. They did have other reasons to hate it like some say The Joker didn't perform well(huh, LOL) and more, but they all agree that it was too dark and serious. We need a better ****of reviewers.

I'm hopefully going to see The Dark Knight tommorrow and see how bad(***) this movie is like the critics who hated it said, I hope they're right.

Too much hype ruined E3/What's the best E3 ever/More news

Admit it, 2007 was an awesome year for games, and 2008 is doing so well that we hyped E3 2008 like crazy, right?

Nintendo didn't make a strong 1st impression, but announced more hardcore games later on, and now Kirby and Star Fox are in the works. I don't like Kirby games but I'm excited for Star Fox.

The best E3 was E3 1998 because of this:

After suffering through a drawn out, slow trickle of games from Nintendo since the N64's release, gamers were finally starting to see a decent flow of titles (relatively speaking) coming to the system. At E3 1998, Nintendo had two juggernauts with them in the form of the GoldenEye sequel, Perfect Dark, and, more footage for Zelda: The Ocarina of Time. They also debuted a new franchise that would allow shareholders to roll around in large piles of money when they unveiled Pokemon for the GameBoy.

Perfect Dark is still one of my all time favorite FPSs, and the Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time had changed the way we play games forever. Pokemon was awesome as well as I got both Red and Blue, before it got repetitve and sour with the 3rd generation of Pokemon(Ruby and Sapphire). That was a very strong E3 showing.

Click here for more reasons why E3 1998 rocked!!!

I have a feeling that I'm going to be broke this year if I get all the games that I actually want, and it's more than 10, possibly 20.

Attention all Nintendo fans, not all hope is lost, 4 new games in development

ZELDA

SUPER MARIO GALAXY 2(as I predicted), PIKMIN 3 AND NEW SUPER MARIO BROS. 2

KID ICARUS ALMOST CONFIRMED!!!

Discuss.

If only Nintendo had announced them at E3 earlier, it would had been better and I would give it a 10/10.

Nintendo has failed me at E3/Most impressive game at E3/Comic book movies

2 things I actually cared about are Wii Speak(lets you talk to your friends online) and Animal Crossing: City Folk, since I loved the 1st Animal Crossing on Gamecube.

Maybe I would enjoy Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars on the Nintendo DS(since it's not coming to the Wii for an unknown reason), but I don't know the last GTA game was awesome, but not mind blowing awesome, and there was a GTA game on Game Boy Advance just to let you know.

Wii Sports Resort, Wii Music and more casual games? Well, I'm not surprised, but not much hardcore games at all? Well, it looks like I'll get more games on the 360 and this makes me want to get a PS3.

Nintendo, why, just why?

As for most impressive game at E3, I would say Gears of War 2.

On July 18th(or a later date), I will do my top 5 best comic book(more like superhero) movies if I see The Dark Knight, stay tuned. These movies have a chance to be on the list:

Iron Man

Spider Man

Spider Man 2

Batman

Batman Begins

X-Men

X2:X-Men United

The Incredible Hulk

Sin City(Jessica Alba's only good movie)

Hellboy

Hellboy 2: The Golden Army

Keep this up and it may be a top 10 list.

The 1st episode of the 1st season was ok, but episodes 2 and 3 were simply amazing because of the jokes and plots, I love those episodes. But episodes 4-6 were no where near as good as the 1st 3 and are really disappointing episodes. But they are awesome compared to this crap you call an "episode". I would rather watch episodes 4-6(ugh) than to watch 7 ever again. There are 2 problems with this episode:

1. Plot-Unlike the last 6 episodes, it focuses on mainly one plot instead of 2 and has a side plot as well. This could have worked, if the storylines were interesting, but no, there not, at all. The main plot has the Lil Conies(Lil Bush and the gang) trying to ruin the parade since they don't want the Lil Dems(Hilary Clinton and others) to be a part of it(or something like that) with Lil Karl Rove's help while Barbra gets a tan that goes wrong. That's the plot to both of them and no, I'm not making this up. The main plot was just boring because hardly anything happens in the 1st segment. The 2nd segment has the Lil Conies meeting Lil Karl Rove and trying to get help from him. And the 3rd segment has the Lil Conies trying to ruin the parade by saving it from the Lil Dems. It's really hard to describe how bad the story is, but trust me, it's bad. There's a predictable twist at the end that you've seen a million times before and done better as well. It's hardly even a plot at all, seriously, there's not much more I can explain about it. The side plot is so bland, pointless and forgettable that you probably didn't know it exist. Overall, it's just bad.

2. Jokes-I thought the jokes in episodes 4-6 were bad, but this episode makes the jokes in episodes 4-6 very funny, and those episodes aren't even(that) funny. This episode is not funny at all. The jokes are old, dull, stale, boring, nonsensical, stupid, awful, bad, annoying, unfunny, and repetitive. These jokes would have been hilarious if this episode along with the show was made 10 years ago, they are far too outdated. None of the jokes are clever or creative in anyway, it's like watching Meet the Spartans, the worst parody comedy movie ever made IMO. It's like they picked a random joke, threw it in there, didn't bother reading the script and writing, and aired this garbage. It's one painful joke after another in what seems like the longest 22 minutes ever. I even knew this episode was going to be bad when a gay joke shows up in the 1st 20 seconds of the show. And the songs that they sing in each episode were good in episodes 2 and 3, bad in 4-6 and just plain horrible in this episode because it's not entertaining or funny. Overall, it's just not a funny episode.

Overall, this episode was the future of the newer episodes, and that's not a good sign at all. This is not only the worst episode on the show, but the worst episode I have ever seen in any TV show ever. I lose all faith in this show when this episode was made. It really deserves a zero IMO, because this episode was one word: nothing. R.I.P. Lil Bush, you lost a fan.

This show, is well, terrible. Another comedy that FOX hyped up and it turned out to be as bad as Back to You and Happy Hour. The characters are some of the most unlikeable people I have ever seen in a show. There's nothing special about them, plus their acting is not even decent, at all. The plot didn't have much direction until half of the show, and pulled off some awkward moments that aren't funny or shocking. And speaking of funny, this has to be the most unfunny crap that I've seen since Back to You.

There aren't that many jokes, and most of them have been done before and done better in previous shows. It doesn't even seem to be a comedy, most of the time it's like a drama, a badly written drama. There's also some sex jokes, but they have been done so terribly that you wouldn't even know when to laugh or not, like the other jokes as well. In the commercial, it was called "comedy of the year". If so, 2008 must be the worst year for comedies then when it comes to new ones. Bottom line, the jokes are old, poorly done, and simply aren't funny.

I wanted to like this show because I like comedies, but in between the unlikeable characters, bad jokes, poorly written plot and horrible acting, I simply can't like this show for what it is. The more it becomes like this, the worse it gets. Who knows, this might end up being the worst show ever made. In conclusion, you can give this show a shot, but I can't guarantee that you'll like it, because certainly didn't, and I don't think I'll ever will either.

Another Carl based episode, which should be good right? WRONG: This episode is a piece of crap. There are 3 problems with this episode.

1. No Aqua Teens-It's already in the summary, but without them, can you call it a "real" ATHF episode. Not really.

2. Annoying Robots-There's a difference between funny annoying and annoying while being unfunny and it's the latter. The robots were destructive in the house, but it wasn't entertaining or funny, it's boring really, it's been done to death, and doesn't have any wow factor to it. It falls so flat that it's simply not cool seeing them be what they are. In short, it's nearly unwatchable.

3. Jokes-The jokes were mostly predictable and stale. They don't have the weight that makes ATHF so popular in the 1st place. None of it is new or fresh, and Carol was barely funny, but the robots were not funny at all.

I hope the rest of this new season gets better, because if there are more episodes like this, Season 5 will be the worst season yet.

I have to admit that the 1st act was kind of solid. No great, but not bad. Good stuff, with some funny jokes like Moleman getting crushed and what not. The problem, however, starts with the 2nd act.

The jokes get more predictable and lamer than usual, and either didn't make sense or they simply just sucked. And the story about politics really went nowhere, if any where for that matter. Ok, it's nice to know this stuff and all, but when it gets boring and dragged on, what's the point of all this. And believe it or not, the 3rd act is worse than the 1st 2.

For a Ralph episode, he had only 7 minutes to himself. The idea of this became ridiculous because who can picture Ralph as a democrat, republican or even president? His jokes were lamer than before, and the plot now it dragged on to the point of being mostly boring. The real kicker is the lack of a decent ending, or even a real ending for that matter. I never thought this episode would be good, and I was right all along(IMO). Who knows, you might like this episode more than I did, but to me, it's flaws prevent it from being good. What another disappointing Season 19 episode.

While Homer gets a new job, this episode wasn't exactly filler. As a tow truck man, he tows lots of cars, even a helicopter, LOL. He also tows parked cars that aren't violating any laws, LOL again. The jokes weren't too dumb, some were but most of it was funny. Matt Dillon as a guest star wasn't pointless like most celebrity episodes, his character played a huge role in the plot. The plot itself was clever too, and the sideplot involves Maggie not depending on Marge to take care of her, and Marge simply wanted to be there for her at all times since she's not grown yet. Unexpectedly, Maggie ends up doing something that gets involve with Homer, making this episode great.

Overall, this episode is much better the the last 2 awful episodes, but it's not the best episode ever. We need more episodes like this for Season 19. Good work, keep it up writers.

About Me

mitu123
My real name is Tim Parker, I'm 20 and lives in Saint Leonard, Maryland. My favorite shows are mostly animated comedy, like The Simpsons(biggest fan there is), Family Guy, South Park, American Dad and King of the Hill and Futurama. I also like non animated comedies like Seinfeld, Scrubs, The Loop, That 70s Show, The War at Home, Arrested Development, The King of Queens, and possibly more. I know, I'm a huge fan of comedy over anything else. I love to write stories, play sports(football and basketball mainly), even write my own animated comedy show, play online games, talk to my friends, and has a job but planning to get a new one next year. Hopefully I'll do better with my life as the years go by though.
