I love this show. Witty and dark, with the fantastic coupling of Shemar Moore and Kirsten Vangsness, which is just pure comic gold! Every week gets better and better, with better lines. I must admit i am a fan of these types of shows, but just for the comedy this is way above the rest. The dark subject matter needs a bit of light relief, and Garcia (Vangsness) and Morgan's (Moore) flirty relationship is just the right amoount of light relief to open up the show to the mainstream audience. Even though you would love to see them get together, developing this relationship into something more would totally change the show possibly not for the better. They need to keep the comedy flowing, as dealing with serial killers is often a dark and disturbing business, and the light relief often comes at the times when you need it most. If either left the show, it would be like having laurel without hardy, ant without dec or joey without chandler. A comic pairing made of gold!
