I honestly believe that police officers enjoy writting people up. Perhaps they have to meet a certain quota, so they set up random stops just to do so. I mean, I got a citation today just because my nephew had slipped out of his shoulder straps to his car-seat. Why is that a need for a citation?? The dumb-ass cop had the nerve to tell me that neither of my nephews (I had the two oldest with me) were strapped in. I had to turn around and point out to him that they were indeed buckled up (I mean, come on. I'd buckled them myself). So he pulls out the bs about the shoulder straps (It's not like I can stop in the middle of driving and make sure his arms are through the straps--what kind of fool would I be--I guess I'd be like the guy who changes his pants while driving down the highway).

For the most part, this episode was much of a repeat on previous ones. Rini is still out to get back to the future to save her mother by taking the silver crystal. She doesn't trust Serena so she steals the locket and runs off (again). Personally, I thought Rini had way too much leeway on where and when she would go. The scouts set out to search for her. With Rini being as ficle as she is, she ends up running from them again. Since she's such a great lover of Darien, she runs to his place but, yet again, leaves once Serena gets there. (Why wasn't anyone scared for the little girl jumping out of a multi story window even if she had a parachute??)
For the most part I liked it simply because it set the stage for getting rid of Rubeus.

This episode features Ikkaku. You get to learn a lot more about his character. We knew he liked fighting before and learn from Yumichika that Ikkaku is on par with Kenpachi since they both LOVE to fight. According to Yumichika, even though Ikkaku is only 3rd seat in his division, he's the second most powerful. And not only that, we get to see Ikkaku's initial release and his bankai. Both are pretty impressive. Of course, according to the hallow Ikkaku is up against, he's not too great with it. From a completely objective point of view, it's a great episode.

I must admit this was the first episode I've watched since the show's ending years ago (happened to catch the tail end of a marathon on Sci-Fi channel). Watching this episode reminded me of why I watched the show to begin with. All the technical gargan and of course Max's kick-butt attitude. There was also the 'not-so-subtle' sexual tension between Max and Logan present, so that made it even better. There was enough action throughout the ep that it kept you watching but not so much that it was all you were seeing. My favorite would have to be when it first came on and Max just started spewing off with all of the scientific stuff concerning genes to Kendra was like, wow, how can anyone not wonder what is up with her.
